Featuring an array of global flavors and decadent desserts by Chef Deb Paquette and Pastry Chef Megan Williams, Etch is located in the ground floor of the Encore tower in Nashville's SoBro district. The restaurant is equipped with two private dining rooms, a full bar and an open kitchen with bar-style seating, allowing guests to interact with Deb and her kitchen. Lunch and dinner are available Monday-Friday, as well as dinner on Saturday.

In her 13 years as Chef/Owner of Zola, Deb received accolades for Nashville's best chef and Nashville's best restaurant multiple times. Nashville restaurants are many, but Etch sets itself apart with bold flavors and colorful presentations.

The cuisine at Etch is complemented by our comprehensive wine list, featuring an extensive collection of wines from around the world. Guests can also enjoy our modern take on classic cocktails, along with a variety of eclectic beers and regional drafts.

Private Dining

Etch offers two private dining rooms for meetings, receptions and special events. The Intermezzo Room is an intimate, elegant space with seating for 12; the Encore Room is an expansive space with a private bar, offering seating for 35 or standing room for 50. Rooms are available for lunch & dinner.

The restaurant was very nice and the food was good. I would say it was a little over priced. Nothing was too special to warrant that price tag. The place is beautiful inside but definitely stuffy. I would recommend sitting at the chefs counter.

We sat at the bar and had all 3 appetizers (cauliflower, shrimp/octopus bruschetta and cheese and honey tray). My least favorite was the cheese and honey tray. The other two were delicious! Service at the bar was impeccable!

For dinner we all tried something different. We started with the bread and house made butters which we loved. I had the filet, one friend had the venison and another had the corvina fish of the day. Our server did an excellent job explaining the food. They do some 5 hour process with the filet that our server told us makes it taste delicious. Personally I have had better and I did not care for the potatoes or salad/noodle mixture that came with it. My friends had delicious sides (mushroom and spinach wanton; feta filled phyllo, etc) and they enjoyed their main course. We added two of the shareable sides- the crispy potato salad which was delicious, and the butternut which was also good. We were too stuffed for dessert.

Overall, top notch service, unique flavors, wouldn’t recommend the filet, a little pricey ($9 sides). Too many options in Nashville to come back any time soon but I would recommend to others.

celebrated our birthdays at Etch. it was very nice. food was delicious. we did have a little sticker shock for food, but it was good for a special occasion on a budget like ours.

very much appreciated the valet parking.

would recommend the name on both sides of the building because unless we were coming from a specific direction being out of towners, we couldn't find it the first time.

My 4th visit to Etch. The other 3 times were wonderful! Very disappointed this time. Filet Mignon was overcooked. Salad was good but the chicken was over-salted, dry, and tough. I have been raving about Etch to my friend for months. She was not impressed. I was disappointed.

We celebrated a late Valentine’s Day/Anniversary at Etch and it was so amazing! The service was phenomenal and the food was creative, beautiful, and delicious.
