The food was great. Very unique combinations of flavor perfectly prepared. The crispy potato side dish was ridiculous.

Dinner was unbelievably amazing..... from the Porcini bisque to a perfect filet, Etch is my new favorite spot in Nashville

This was Valentine’s Day dinner and it was amazing.

There was valet in-spite of the crazy cold and snow, that guy was amazing.

The hostess was wonderful, promptly greeted and seated us.

We sat at a counter where we could watch the kitchen while we ate, it was very cool!

The price was a bit on the high side, but I believe you get what you pay for... it was a four course Valentine’s Day with optional wine pairing.

Everything was perfect but our server auto grated our bill (it was a 2 top, very uncommon) which we didn’t realize and we double tipped her. She ended up with double gratuity ($150 total, should have been around $70 for 20% of bill.) and we felt a bit duped. We will be calling to hopefully be refunded.

This was the first time myself and my wife had been to Etch and I will say that it was the best food we had ever eaten. The waiters were always around and never had a problem getting anything we wanted. The noise level inside was perfect and had no problem having our conversations without ever raising our voice about normal.

For Valentine’s Day dinner, had a reservation somewhere else originally but they cancelled due to the weather. Was lucky enough to get a last minute reservation for Etch. Glad we went here instead, I don’t think I’ve had a better meal or dining experience. The food was impeccable, paced very well (we got the four course meal with the wine pairings). The portion sizes were filling, we left very satisfied. Our server was very attentive but also left us alone to enjoy each other’s company. We were only in town for the weekend but will definitely be back next time we’re in Nashville.

The only gripe I had was that there was only one valet working that night. The weather was very bad, so I’m not surprised and he handled everything very well for being by himself. It caused a little bit of congestion when we went to leave as there were five or six parties waiting to get their cars, one had cut in front of everyone to get their car first. The valet service was complimentary with dining in, however, so I can’t complain.

Overall, the best dining experience I’ve ever had. Definitely check out this place if you’re in the area.

The food and service was excellent. Our server Sarah was extremely helpful. We really enjoyed being able to sit along the tall window clad wall and view the activity along the street.

Our waitress was excellent and went out of her way to make our night special!

We arrived early for our dinner reservation, so we had appetizers and drinks in the lounge area during happy hour before proceeding to dinner. The Roasted Cauliflower and Steak Carpaccio appetizers were fantastic. It's certainly a way to make vegetables more appealing and flavorful than traditional preparation. The pea pesto and feta crema were perfect compliments to a generously sharable serving of cauliflower. My favorite part of the steak carpaccio was actually the eggplant frites. Don't get me wrong, the carpaccio was great, but the eggplant frites were surprisingly good. They were crunchy and salty, which is the opposite of eggplant, so it made for a delightful balance in each bite. I had the bartender's rotating cocktail, which was a rum drink with sparkling something and lime. I wish I knew the recipe, as I'd recreate it at home-a strong and statisfying mixed drink.

Our entrees were the Lamb Chops and Venison (with the addition of 3 scallops). I enjoyed the tagine and chutney in combination with each bite of lamb. We also ordered the Chocolate & Pretzel Mousse for dessert. It was a great way to finish the meal. The biggest takeaway from dining at Etch is that in order to have the best experience, combine the flavors on each plate. They uniquely go together to surprise you with a compound, complex flavor experience.

It was our third or fourth time dining at Etch and we were not disappointed again. Food and service were excellent as usual and given COVID restrictions it was quieter than usual. Still one of our favorite restaurants in Nashville.

Food was AMAZING

Etch was the single best value meal we’ve ever had. Lunch was reasonably priced and the service was amazing. Sarah H went above and beyond and gave the best recommendations. From appetizers to dessert it was possibly the best meal we’ve had, at least during our trip to Nashville. We would highly recommend!!

A true culinary experience. The only location in Nashville probably Tennessee that provides such a culinary quality and presentation. They have chefs on payroll which makes all the difference. This restaurant is a must.

We love Etch! The restaurant is lovely, the service top notch and the food is truly good. We have transitioned to a fish-plant based diet and wish there were more pescatarian options. Previously we have enjoyed the delicious beef options and recommend them. Keep up the great work!

Anniversary

Very interesting food and options - excellent and attentive service - great wine list. It was very expensive though so nice for a special occasion. The atmosphere is romantic but also fun for a group. I wonder how often they change their menu. The menu is not large so would be welcomed to see changes to that on a seasonal basis.

I have had the privilege of going to many delicious restaurants but that was hands down one of the best meals I have ever had in my 52 years!!!

We had a party of 13 (two separate reservations), last minute we called to see if it were possible for both parties to be sat as close as possible and it wasn’t a problem! Our waiter was attentive and didn’t bat an eye lash to correct a simple oversight. Loved the open kitchen concept, great choice in music and dim lit atmosphere. Couldn’t have asked for better. And the Brussel sprouts!!!!! We will be back.

Etch was so fantastic! We sat at the counter and has the most wonderful experience with Jennifer. The seafood special was so delicious!!

We have dined at the Etch a few times prior to this particular time. It was always very good. But this time, I was so disappointed!! The veal meatballs were much too salty, not quite cooked enough. When I ordered dessert, I was expecting the dark chocolate cake topped with a small scoop of ice cream, that used to be on the menu, but was disappointed to receive a milk chocolate dessert with a cookie beneath & broken pretzel pieces. Not good!
The vegetables are always very delicious! The waiters are also prompt & gracious! Thank you!

I went for lunch and had a fantastic Asian Cesar Salad followed by the Jerk Shrimp. Both were very flavorful!

Reservation process very smooth, confirmed via text. Everything was awesome, will return again!!

Oh my, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the sweet potato on the special Saturday night!! So many flavors! Sauce decor complimented dish phenomenally! Always fantastic. Get the octopus & shrimp bruschetta to start, and DEFINITELY get the venison. Perfection.

Went to Etch to celebrate wife’s birthday. My son had venison and was excellent, not gamee, very tender. The filet was melt in your mouth, and wife ordered oysters (large size from Maine)
