Etch Ratings and Reviews
Date night! Visiting from southern CT. Service was outstanding. Had the best cheese plate we've ever had. Duck tenderloin and venison was sublime and the crispy potato salad was great (we don't like potato salad). Would go back in a heart beat. This meal cost half what it would cost in NYC.
We arrived on a snowy night so the crowd was light . We were seated at a very small table in a back corner while there were many larger vacant tables. Other than the small table , that was our only negative. Etch salad & tuna cerviche were wonderful as was our meal. Service was outstanding. I highly recommend Etch.
Etch was talked about by many at our conference in the city so was happy to get in for lunch. Does not take reservations for groups of more than 4 and could see why, much smaller restaurant with mostly 4 tops and 2 tops. We had one join to make 5 and could not use our ressie for 4 so ended up sitting at bar. Ended up being the best idea as Anthony was personable and not overbearing. Recommended good wines and provided excellent service. Small bar but we liked it for our small meal with client. Roasted Cauliflower a must
Really enjoyed our recent meal at Etch. Their service is really great, both front of house and back of house. We were seated in a rear room that is more quiet, which I like. In general this restaurant is too loud for me. That said, the food is amazing and the staff are too.
This is the second time I have had a business dinner at Etch and it's been wonderful both times. The service is great and great menu options. Nice variety of healthy and hearty with amazing quality all the way around. The staff is always open to providing recommendations and I've never been disappointed following their advice. Had the venison and it was amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone with an appreciation for creative, fun food in a relaxing, warm atmosphere.
Nashville's best restaurant. We've previously eaten at Etch and it has always been wonderful, but this meal was the best yet. We were there for a New Year's Eve four course dinner and everything was spectacular. The duck appetizer, which is also on the regular menu, is one of the best dishes ever.
A New Years Eve with a 4 course meal was a great experience and the items were an epicurean delight. Many special meals are minuscule in portion but not at ETCH Although our first visit there, it definitely will not be our last. A rare find in Nashville among many great restaurants.
Good but not great. Beautiful decor and great ambiance. Can’t quite find the right description for our waitress - she wasn’t terrible but she wasn’t very good - nonchalant is the best I can do. My lamb dish was very good; my wife’s fish was over cooked and oversalted. The appetizer - cauliflower - which people rave about - was okay; sauces were very good but nothing special about the preparation of the cauliflower. If you’re looking for ambience - this is the place. If you’re looking for great food, there are a lot of better choices In Nashville.
