Featuring an array of global flavors and decadent desserts by Chef Deb Paquette and Pastry Chef Megan Williams, Etch is located in the ground floor of the Encore tower in Nashville's SoBro district. The restaurant is equipped with two private dining rooms, a full bar and an open kitchen with bar-style seating, allowing guests to interact with Deb and her kitchen. Lunch and dinner are available Monday-Friday, as well as dinner on Saturday.

In her 13 years as Chef/Owner of Zola, Deb received accolades for Nashville's best chef and Nashville's best restaurant multiple times. Nashville restaurants are many, but Etch sets itself apart with bold flavors and colorful presentations.

    We started at the bar for happy hour then moved to the dining room for dinner. The staff was very attentive giving great service. The dinner was the best…filet and mahi mahi were cooked perfect. It was my birthday and was given a signed birthday card, nice touch.

    Great cocktails, and service. The charcuterie platter, tomato burrata salad, and crispy potato salad were great. The fish entree was not our favorite part of the meal.

    This is an excellent restaurant with a widely varied and creative menu. Everything was expertly prepared and delicious. The service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced. They were completely willing to accommodate some dietary restrictions and had excellent suggestions. Service was very fast and not overly intrusive. The non-dairy dessert options were the best in this category I’ve ever tasted - really! Drink service and options were also excellent. Highly recommended but do make reservations because they fill up - and with good reason!

    I ordered the filet medium rare and was served one almost blue rare. Sent it back, they threw it on the grill again and gave it back to me rare. The person I was with ordered the duck special and said it tastes mediocre at best. We’ve eaten here before and really enjoyed it. This experience was terrible for what had been a great spot in the past.

    My husband and I went to dinner at Etch with our daughter and her boyfriend to celebrate Katie successfully defending her dissertation and our waitress was so sweet in acknowledging her accomplishment. Our waitress had wonderful suggestions on appetizers and entrees, and service throughout the evening not only from our waitress, but everyone who came to our table, was top notch. Our appetizers and entrees were delicious. Wonderful serving sizes -- not too small and not too large. Our waitress also gave Katie a complimentary dessert -- with a piece of chocolate on top -- with congratulations written on it. Lovely evening -- highly, highly recommend Etch.

    We had not been to Etch in a couple of years. It is a very good restaurant. The food is always good and they have a good wine list. I had the lamb meatballs and my wife had the scallops. Both were very good. The service was a bit slow, but not bad.

    The shrimp and octopus bruschetta was the tastiest starter I’ve had in quite a while! The server was so helpful with recommendations. The lamb meatballs were beyond delicious and we ended with matcha ice cream…perfect dinner! Will definitely be back.

    Each of the four of us had a different entree and they were all delicious! the duck breast special was outstanding. And our waiter, Kevin, was wonderful. Very efficient, prompt service but not rushed.

    Absolutely loved the whole experience. Great seating, wonderful service, accommodating of food allergies and the chef came to our table to make sure there were no issues there. The food was some of the best I've ever had! The brussels and empanadas were fabulous and my filet was cooked perfectly. We will be back!

    I was in Nashville for only one day and decided to check highly reviewed places around my hotel and after seeing some options I decided to visit Etch and I have to say it was the best decision I have made recently hehe. The food was amazing from the appetizers to the main course and dessert. Loved the cocktails and the service was just lovely. I would not miss this place if visiting Nashville again.

    Etch is pretty much my favorite restaurant in Nashville. I mean no disrespect to all of the other wonderful eateries. It's a close call, but Deb Pacquette's recipes are just that much better. etc. in Green Hills is my other favorite.

    We had a wonderful dining experience at Etch.  Everything was delicious from the appetizer to the desert. We had Kim as our waitress, and she could not have been any friendlier and professional. We started with the bread and butter appetizer, followed by the Etch salad which was large enough for us to share. My husband had the filet mignon with yummy garlic mashed potatoes and veggies. I had the scallops over orzo. Both entrees were delicious! Last, we enjoyed the almond cake with ice cream. Highly recommend Etch for your next dining experience.

    My filet was fatty and only ate about 25% of it. Didn’t make formal complaint but it was obvious, I didn’t eat my steak. Manager stopped by and saw fatty steak and didn’t say anything. Our server was excellent but filet was bad.

    We had an excellent dining experience. The staff were kind and helpful, even when two more people were added to our group unexpectedly. All of our bites were delicious. We highly recommend the bruschetta!

    We hadn’t been to Etch in a long time ! Only available seats were at the counter but thoroughly enjoyed watching the action in the kitchen! Food and service were outstanding ! Look forward to returning again soon . It is especially nice before a performance at the Schermerhorn .

    everything went wrong from the start but the real problem was the haughty attitude of the staff. I just left. then for the 2nd time the valet service uses a metropolis paring lot that auto charges your car. talked to Mgmt last time and almost a year later this is still not fixed. I am never going back and will telll everyone to just stay away

    Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had. The service was amazing. I'm not a "fancy person" so I asked our server to choose a wine to go with my meal selection and it was perfect!
