Featuring an array of global flavors and decadent desserts by Chef Deb Paquette and Pastry Chef Megan Williams, Etch is located in the ground floor of the Encore tower in Nashville's SoBro district. The restaurant is equipped with two private dining rooms, a full bar and an open kitchen with bar-style seating, allowing guests to interact with Deb and her kitchen. Lunch and dinner are available Monday-Friday, as well as dinner on Saturday.

In her 13 years as Chef/Owner of Zola, Deb received accolades for Nashville's best chef and Nashville's best restaurant multiple times. Nashville restaurants are many, but Etch sets itself apart with bold flavors and colorful presentations.

    First time in Nashville and we had an amazing lunch. The cauliflower app was perfect and so were both entrees-the veggie risotto and the fish empanadas. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful with our choices. Definitely would recommend.

    We stepped into etch and was greeted with the aroma of bacon! Yes bacon. Our experience was wonderful, lovely server who guided us thru the menu and specials! Lamb meatball plate was beautiful with wonderful flavors. Really enjoy the use of fresh fruits in the main dishes. Dessert was the pear tart and it was amazing. Will definitely return.

    Etch is consistently one of the top restaurants in Nashville. We have always had excellent dinners and top-notch service, and we continue to go back! The chef’s creation was salmon and it was absolutely delicious - the mahi special also was perfect! The cauliflower appetizer was also amazing! This restaurant is always a special night out!

    Food options, prep and quality were outstanding. Service was top-notch. Only very slight drawbacks were it was a bit less formal than we expected at this price point, which wasn’t a totally bad thing; and bar area was too noisy for a normal conversation level.

    Crunchy risotto, salty/sweet martini, huge cheesy empanada. The scallops themselves and the lamb meatballs were nice. The lamb dish was cohesive but the scallop dish had no singular direction. Truffle pea puree, spicy carrots, crunchy overcooked risotto and pickled sprout, arugula salad. All over the place. Dry, dirty martini tasted like it was made with sweet vermouth and salted. Barely drinkable. The ambiance is nice however it feels like a hotel lobby bar. Wait staff was awkward and didn't seem comfortable with his job. Our starter, the empanada. Could not decipher which cuisine this was coming from. So much cheese and huge empty space. Only a couple pieces of mushroom. Harissa sort of sauce signals Mediterranean but then jalapeño pineapple slaw would say islands with a central american empanada. So expensive for what it was. I don't think I can recommend this place and I don't see how the rave reviews can be honest and have a palate for fine dining.

    Our dinner was delightful and we were taken care of tremendously. Our server was Baden and he was excellent. He helped us celebrate a birthday in the best way possible. I couldn’t ask for a better experience food and service wise. I would reccomend anyone to come here.

    Food and service was good but ambience was poor; no vibe. Very stuffy and felt like food came out too fast. Wasn’t really able to sit and enjoy. Felt rushed.

    Etch was outstanding as usual. We had the empanadas for an app and they were incredible. We had the seafood special (Mahi) and the salmon and they were fantastic. Service was great from the host to the server and kitchen staff. If you haven't done counter seating, give it a go!

    Ordered the Ceaser salad ( best I’ve ever had) & the scallops entree which was amazing! Huge compliments to the chef for overall excellence in a beautiful combination of ingredients that made an out of this world wonderful culinary taste experience. Beautiful presentation & wonderful service !
