etch is a globally-inspired restaurant by award-winning chef Deb Paquette. The original location opened its doors in 2012 in lively downtown Nashville; the second location opened in fall of 2024 in The Factory at Franklin. The modern restaurant houses two private dining rooms, a full bar, and a chef’s bar, giving guests a look into the restaurants' culinary prowess.

etch’s eclectic menu incorporates innovative dishes inspired by Deb and Executive Chef Jess Lambert's favorite regions of the world to leave a lasting impression, or etch, on every diner. A wine list with over 80 choices is available, along with high-gravity local beers and hand-crafted signature cocktails.

Desserts are prepared in-house by Pastry Chef Megan Williams, whose creations top the list for the city’s sweet confections. House-made ice creams and artfully plated desserts change seasonally, providing a revolving array of treats that will keep you coming back for more.

    Etch in Nashville has been our “go-to” place for several years but has recently drastically increased it’s prices to a point where it is too expensive for us to dine there when considering our options.The quality and quantity of the menu offerings varies widely but are generally small considering the price. The new location in The Factory in Franklin is an open room with little ambiance. When it is full of diners, it is also very noisy. The service is excellent and the management is attentive but these cannot overcome the high prices, lack of ambiance, and high noise level.

    To be honest my first visit to Etch, Franklin was very disappointing. The food was not what I expected and everything with my order was not right. Why is now my go to restaurant for business and special occasions with family and friends? Because of the incredible manager and the team who serves those who are patrons. The manager and the server went out if the way, far above and beyond in taking care of me in every level to ensure I left that night wanting to return. I love not just the incredible cuisine, atmosphere but the whole team that delivers extraordinary service like no other restaurant. It’s a gift every time ♥️

    Nice repurposed space in an old factory (the whole building is now referred to as The Factory where multiple other businesses operate including an interior mall space). The food was wonderful with great pairing of flavors and a diverse, but limited menu, including vegetarian options. The staff was top notch with great suggestions while being attentive, but not overbearing. Would love to go back!

    Being from Cape Cod Massachusetts we have eaten in some wonderful restaurants. Etch is by far one of the best culinary experiences. The food from the filet to the pork was unbelievably tender bringing out all the flavors. The accompanying sauces and purée really set the stage for the entree. Cocktails were lovely and dessert pavlova hit all the notes with both silky and crunchy yum. A restaurant not to be missed. In Franklin.
