etch is a globally-inspired restaurant by award-winning chef Deb Paquette. The original location opened its doors in 2012 in lively downtown Nashville; the second location opened in fall of 2024 in The Factory at Franklin. The modern restaurant houses two private dining rooms, a full bar, and a chef’s bar, giving guests a look into the restaurants' culinary prowess.

etch’s eclectic menu incorporates innovative dishes inspired by Deb and Executive Chef Jess Lambert's favorite regions of the world to leave a lasting impression, or etch, on every diner. A wine list with over 80 choices is available, along with high-gravity local beers and hand-crafted signature cocktails.

Desserts are prepared in-house by Pastry Chef Megan Williams, whose creations top the list for the city’s sweet confections. House-made ice creams and artfully plated desserts change seasonally, providing a revolving array of treats that will keep you coming back for more.

Etch Franklin is a lovely restaurant, we've been to this one many times as well as the nashville etch and their sister restaurant, etc in green hills. Never been disappointed, but it was off this time. Service was great as always, but food was mediocre at best. Will obviously go back and hope they were just having an off night.

The entre salads were good and a lot of thought when into the Etch salad, had lots of flavors and textures that went well together. The burger was meh and the fries were cold. No one came by to see how the food was after it was served.

I went alone and sat at the Chef’s counter. I got the Chef’s special with fish. While the concept and flavors were tasty, I felt like the presentation was sloppy and just like a lot of leftovers thrown together on a beautiful piece of fish. The service was okay. My server seemed preoccupied and I felt at times I had to ask for things. Maybe it was just because I was alone. I would definitely try it again as I have always loved Etch (the one downtown). On a positive note, the staff seem like they enjoy working there and it’s a good team. Maybe if I went in a group my experience would have been different.

We had a wonderful dinner and everything was excellent! Our waiter Dallas had great energy and was knowledgeable about the food and wine. Can’t wait to go back!
