   This is the second time we've had brunch at this restaurant. The first time we ate outside. This time we ate inside. There are only a few outside tables so you're lucky if you can get one. If the weather is decent, outside is better as it's very noisy inside. The first time we had brunch we thought the service was poor and the food uninteresting but it was shortly after the restaurant had opened so we thought we'd try it again.This time service was OK, not exceptional but not bad. Two of our portions were neither overly large nor small but the third was so large it couldn't be finished. Interestingly that was the one meal that stood out. The other two were pretty mediocre. There really isn't much atmosphere and the restaurant is small so it feels crowded. The three of us have brunch most Sundays but we probably wont go back to Les Etats Unis.

   We were on our anniversary trip and started with a lunch here. It was delicious! So when we decided to skip B&B breakfast we stopped in for breakfast. Excellent coffee, croisants, omelettes, crepes! Yep we had a lot of food and loved it! Excellent kitchen, and great service. Intimate and yummy!! We’ll always come in during all future visits, absolutely!! We didn’t do dinner here but I’ll bet it’s just as fantastic.

   We have an eaten here numerous times now and the meal is always exquisite. It is now our favorite place to eat in Carmel.

   This is a new favorite of ours in Carmel! It is a small restaurant in what for many decades had been a casual “ coffee shop” type of place. It has been changed,but still offers a kind of old time Carmel feel which we love. it is French food and it has always been delicious! Stand outs are the French onion soup,beef bourguignon,and all of the salads . The wine list is very adequate and fairly priced. At dinner, the service can be a little slow...but that never bothers us. Make a reservation,this place has a following of both locals and now tourists as well. It will not disappoint.
