This is the place for delicious French food. We loved the warm baguette that came with our meal and each dish that we ordered was outstanding. The duck appetizer is one of the best duck preparations I've ever had. The mushroom ravioli had a generous amount of filling and the sauce was very flavorful. I am looking forward to the next time that I go there for dinner. Wait staff was very attentive and efficient. Barbara

Celebrated a birthday with hubby. (There were several tables of 2 celebrating birthdays). It's truly a special place. Food is unbelievably delicious. Service is amazing. They pull out all the stops without being stuffy or formal. We had salads, mussels, tempura mushroom, frites, and for dessert with a Grand Marnier souffle -- it felt like Julia Child was in the kitchen!

We landed at Et Voila based on open table reviews and could not leave a raving review fast enough. Mariela took fantastic care of us on the back patio. She us excellent recommendations for our next spot to visit and offered great conversation which improved the experience. Everything about our meal was perfection. The cocktail menu included the best smoked bourbon cocktail this KY couple has ever tasted. We couldn’t pronounce anything on the menu but it was a safe place for that. Every bite was delicious. Pork chop and duck main courses. Can’t go wrong with this menu based on our experience and we can’t wait to dine here again.

It is always a treat to eat at Et Voilà! I look forward to the dessert soufflé for days before! the food is beautifully presented and the ingredients are exquisite and perfectly cooked. I love the outdoor area in the back. It feels cozy and private. The servers were excellent as well.

Great experience for our anniversary. Richard was awesome as a waiter, and the rest of the wait staff were excellent. Ambience was soft and quiet, the food was excellent and Richards recommendations for the wine and desert were spot on.

After reading reviews for San Diego restaurants, I chose this marvelous resturant for my 80th birthday. The staff was welcoming and personable and it felt like family on our firsts visit! Our server, Richard, was delightful and had a good understanding of menu items and wines. The food was marvelous!! The escargot was world class, with perfectly balanced flavors. We also ordered another excellent appetizer, a crispy phyllo dough that was stuffed with cheese, The Diver scallop dish was perfectly prepared with a nice sear and excellent texture and flavor. All of the sauces were finely tuned! Ended the meal with a wonderful Grand Marlier soufflé with cream Anglaise! The venue is inviting and the overall tone is warm and comfortable. This is a gem of a restaurant! Look forward to eating here again.

We have loved our previous meals here. Our most recent on this last Mothers' Day was a bit disappointing. My mixed drink was a bit skinny and had far too much ice. The fixed price three-course dinners turned out to be more expensive or just about the same as if ordered on other days straight off the current menu. That feels a bit like a bait and switch. The bread was at room temp. Also, one of the desserts looked and tasted as if it had been plated and sitting back in the kitchen for too long. I know Mothers' Day had to be hard, but this place had spoiled us to expect near perfection.

We all really enjoyed our Mothers Day meals and wine parings. We sat in the patio at our request and it was really pleasant. They were very innovative to make it as cosy as it is. The appetizers and entrées were exceptional all around. The wine pairings also spot on. The desserts were beautiful but the crème brûlée a bit cloying and the passionfruit and raspberry coulis on the other dessert was so tart it detracted from the otherwise decadent cake. We all agreed we would return.

Mariela provided excellent service. We enjoyed a prix fixe menu with wine pairing for Mother's Day and it was exquisite. Even without the reason to celebrate, the mushroom ravioli is something to go back for. Love the ambiance and friendliness of the staff, in addition to incredible, thoughtfully prepared food.

Went for Mother’s Day and the food and service was amazing! My husband and I have been there before and picked up takeout during lockdown and the food never disappoints! The owner is a great guy and goes out of his way for all the customers! Going back next weekend!

Et Voilà defines great dinning and service. The food was delicious as always. Wonderful Roblechon appetizer with light fila dough and light salad with delicate dressing. Exceptional moules marinières - fresh and wonderfully seasoned. Magret de. canard and streak au poivre cooked perfectly and sides are delightful. But best is the service. From the hostess who seated us and checked on us more than once to see if we needed heaters turned on. Ismael who is knowledgeable, kind and extremely attentive making it a wonderful dinning experience. The bus boy who took care to bring us clean plates before our entrees arrived and extra plates before our delicious soufflé. And then even as we were leaving other staff members said thank you and goodbye. This is all with our the owner not being there, Maintaining such a high standard. There are sure many restaurants in San Diego that could learn from them. It was really such a pleasure and the right place to spend your money. Thank you.

Nice menu choices ! Stayed with a delicious bagette then the farrow and fig salad, so good! We had the Beef Bourgenon, the Turbo and the scallops all excellent! Then to top it all off a n incredible souffle for dessert!

Et Voila is one of our top favorite restaurants in San Diego. It is fairly centrally located so easy to get to. The food is the best! Everything we chose is creatively done in the French bistro style. We had salad, escargot, mushroom ravioli, leg of lamb, faro salad, and steak frites. All just wonderful.
