Et Voila is wonderful as always! They've adapted quickly to every change mandated by Covid 19 restrictions while keeping their standards intact. We went to Et Voila to celebrate two 70th birthdays and the event was perfect. If you enjoy fine food, superb service in a relaxed atmosphere this is the place to come...don't miss it.

My husband and I were so impressed with Et Viola. The outdoor dining tent is very attractive. The designer did a great job! We were a little cold, even with the large gas burners, so the staff set 2 floor gas burners right next to us! Our Thanksgiving dinner was delicious and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Looking forward to trying their Date Night!

This year Thanksgiving was a terribly difficult day. The first time in years I was unable to travel to be with my family and spend the day cooking with my mother. I was absolutely heartbroken. Enter Et Voila.
My husband and I have been comfortable dining in very few places since the start of Covid and the ramp up in cases recently nearly had us nearly waiving off on dinner out for the holiday. But, Et Voila has set up such an amazing cleanliness routine and put into action so many protocols to keep their patrons safe, that we decided to go ahead with early reservations for their Thanksgiving menu.
When the purple tier rating moved all dining outside, we got an immediate call about our reservations and possible accommodations so we were able to ensure we would be comfortable where we would be sitting.
On the day, we arrived for our reservation, were welcomed warmly and seated immediately. The staff was busy getting to-go orders out, and yet the service was still solicitous and exemplary.
The meal itself was delicious. We chose different appetizers and desserts, but decided on the very traditional turkey dinner entrée. Honestly, it was one of the very best holiday meals I have ever had. The wine pairings were superb, all the food was wonderful, and the staff made us feel like family. One of the nicest parts was being able to call my mother afterward and tell her all about our wonderful experience. It was almost as good as having her with us, thus turning what could have been a sad day into a memory of a truly lovely experience.
We hope they will be open for Christmas!
Et Voila has done an amazing job transforming a parking lot into a quaint and cozy dining area. The food, as always, was top notch and well presented.

Excellent food, service. Best part of experience was the outdoor dining that they have created due to Covid. It feels like you’re inside but still have a safe feeling. Great decor, great set up and completely enclosed with heaters. Will definitely be back
The Cote du Rhone was wonderful, and every dish was incredible! We thoroughly enjoyed the Winter tart appetizer, the onion soup, the beet salad, the salmon, the scallops, and soufflé with Grande Marnier. Ooh la la!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great meal. Duck was outstanding as was the souffle. We ate outside under the tent. Was better than expected. They created a nice ambiance so that you did not really feel you were in a parking lot. Great solution in this pandemic age. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Great dinner with friends at Et Viola a few days ago. They have an amazing outdoor area in the back of the restaurant - you really felt like you were sitting in the middle of a Paris cafe! Really extraordinary! The food was delicious - the steak & frites were enjoyed by two of my friends, my husband had the linguine with a sauce that was absolutely excellent and I had the special, the beef bourguignon. It was authentic through every bite and I loved it! Our server was very pleasant and their wine list is pretty good too. A really nice evening - we will definitely keep this restaurant on our "return-to-often" list!
We’ve dined at several other French restaurants in San Diego, but this was our first time here. We were very impressed. The menu is very French indeed, not just American adaptations. But it wasn’t pretentious. We had a scallops dish and a pork one, both were excellent. Salad, wine and desserts were great too. Definitely be back.

Without a doubt the best escargot I have ever had! I'm already looking forward to going back and ordering it again. My wife and I love dry white wines and our server helped us pick out the perfect bottle. All around a wonderful dining experience and we'll be back again soon.

Management did an excellent job of securing the indoor dining area with partitions between each table which were well distanced from each other and the staff followed all protocols from a health standpoint to follow scientific guidance.
The food as always was delicious and well prepared. Best mussels In San Diego, great salads and a bottle of Sancerre well priced made for good value and a wonderful evening
One of my favorite restaurants. So accommodating and they have done their best to make the ambiance nice for our Covid times. Food and service was excellent as usual.

Went here with my family for my birthday a few days ago. Ambiance was excellent. I really give the owner credit for creating an elegant vibe outside with what essentially is a parking lot in order to adjust to COVID related changes. Service was prompt. Our waitress was attentive and knew the menu very well. Food was delicious, we had ordered the short ribs special and myself the filet mignon for entrees. Will definitely be back again soon! Et Voilà! French Bistro has been our favorite restaurant ever since they opened few years back. We just love the service, the food and the decor. They have adapted amazingly to the challenges of COVID.
It is the only restaurant we trust and go out to since March.

We had an early Tuesday dinner in the patio area. Service was excellent as was the food and wine. The date night menu was an extraordinary value and I’ve recommended it to friends looking for a weekday fun and safe outing. Look forward to more fantastic meals.
never picked up dishes from the table.nor did they come by once to ask how is everything ok or do we need anything. I spent $300 for two people. big waste. go to a real restaurant like trulucks for example, for that kind of money.

You can't enjoy 6 Belvedere martinis, caviar, 2 apps, 2 mains and a dessert for that price in many places. Our staff checked on you and cleared your table, we always feel like we could do more as we're perfectionists. We're proud of our team for working so hard to please our guests in the midst of a pandemic despite the health risks they incur and the challenges of the new CDC requirements.
