   Food is delicious, which is to be expected from a Michael Mina restaurant. Especially the sole, hummus and the salads. However, the service was okay. I could tell they were trying hard to offer the service level accustom to a Michael Mina restaurant and I’m not sure what caused the mess up but our kids’ meals were significantly delayed. We even ordered the kids meals first. Prices are consistent for the area (Aventura) and I found the service was actually pretty consistent for the area too.

   If it wasn’t for the food delivery that took for ever it would have been a great experience. The manager was excellent he was everywhere but sadly he wasn’t cooking this the food so everything was late . Even when we asked for extra pita which we were charged an extra $2. It took forever to get .

    Food was generally fine but expensive for what it was. Kids menu was fair value. Staff were lovely and very friendly but part of the order seemed to be forgotten and came out after everything else after a reminder and then it wasn’t complete. Decor and ambience is beautiful.

    The food was favorable and presented well. Our server and captain were attentive. It’s a bit loud outside since the patio abuts the valet. Overall, cute place.

    The waiter was extremely sweet. My husband and I both orders completely separate things. I ordered the moussaka and my husband ordered the short rib pasta dish. As yet they were both delicious they tasted almost exactly the same. I can’t think of the name but it’s like a cheesy sauce. It’s heavy and it’s overdone.

    The server and the Manager were constantly at our table interrupting our conversation - either by wanting to clear the dishes, change tableware or just checking if the food was okay. It was just TOO MUCH! Additionally, two of us had the moussaka. I am of Greek origin and can judge a Greek dish and this WAS NOT moussaka but rather mush rooms with a TON of which sauce mixed in with potatoes) or something like it) over top. Very disappointed and would have expected something better from a Michael Mina restaurant. While I understand that people have different variations of food, this was NOT very appetizing.

    Despite having a reservation, there was no table available upon my on-time arrival. Somewhat annoying. Was seated at the bar. Friendly service - but very uneven timing. Starter showed up immediately, followed almost instantly by my main. I wasn’t even halfway done with the starter. And then, service disappeared for dessert and the bill. Took forever for the latter 2 steps. Food was good, but nothing that will siren-call me to repeat any time soon. I’ve had more memorable Mediterranean. Then again, what did I expect, when eating at the mall…

    This is a gem in Aventura mall… not your topical mall restaurants. Could easily be in SOBE, the place is very chic and well appointed. The bar is super nice if you just want to have a drink and something light. Food is great Service is superb Price is good Highly recommended.

    Fabulous Miami Spice Dinner!! Omg we all came out of there with food coma!! One of thee best dinners we I have had in a while!! Compliments to the Chief! Food just kept on coming!     It was my dear friend Sabrina’s birthday. Allow me to begin with our waitress, Isabella was personable, went above and beyond for us, she was truly a delight. The manager was also quite accommodating in taking pictures for us. The ambience and aura was perfect for our celebration. The food exceeded our expectations from appetizers to main course to dessert; presentation was spectacular and the taste was delectable and flavorsome; fit for a king. We would definitely return to this restaurant.

    Service started off top notch and then just about stopped mid service. Waiter got hung up on with a couple tables and really delayed getting back to us. We did the tasting menu for 3 of us and still not sure if they gave us the wrong items. Food was good. Nice lively place, we just had a bad last half of our evening.

    From the moment we walked through the front door until we left, everything was great. Our server Habib was contentious, professional, helpful in some of our menu selections & friendly with a sense of humour. The only glitch in this bday dinner was the bussers insisting clearing our food our beverages & our dishes. In 1 instance, my fork was raised to my mouth, food was on my plate in front if me, my plate was snatched away. Another instance was taking our sparkling water bottle inspite that 1/2 bottle was still filled. Initially we made jokes. Then it became annoying; more so because the inside restaurant was quite empty. None the less, food was delish. Service because of Habib was exemplary. I will definitely return. I will definitely bring more friends.

    My husband and I, had an amazing time at Ornos. We went for Happy Hour. The food was outstanding. I recommend the east coast oysters and the sea bass ceviche. All the cocktails for Happy Hour were great but my favorite was the Mikonos. We will certainly come back!
