Awesome night. Jimmy, your choice of fish was over the top. Great night!
Was good except for the males hostess when arriving
The three fish We requested were overcoocked and the kitchen was already closed than I coudn’t eat and my two friends ate so as not do get hungry. it was not kind and the price was high.
Excellent food, service and value we always enjoy dining there.
fish filet was dry
octopus salad was unevenly tepid
Tuna burger didn’t taste at all like tuna.
The food was beautiful and the service was good-just has more of a snobby vibe which was disappointing. This was my second time dining here and it was good but for the price, a bit more warmth from the staff would have been nice.
Delicious, as always! And our server, Anna, was spectacular and on point! She’s the best! We look forward to returning soon!
They ran out of calamari , which was the dish that I went to the restaurant for. Disappointing
Lovely restaurant. Menu is a bit difficult in regards to the market place per pound pricing on some items. Our table of four enjoyed the appetizers and the entrees we ordered but the desserts were only okay.
The ITALIAN WAITER has been the best! I live in NY and I decided to come to Milos because everyone told me that the fish is great, but I really appreciate the Italian waiter that served us and choose for us two beautiful lobsters!
Absolutely recommended, and ask for the Italian guy: nice, respectful, funny, well-organized.
We love Milos.
Very busy my Friday lunch.
Food was cold.
Gorgeous restaurant. Went after the theater with my sister in law, an out of towner, and happy I did. The wait staff could not have been more attentive. We both had the $49 set menu available after 9:30, with grilled octopus and crab cake to start, very generously portioned, a Greek salad beautifully presented and for the main course, had the salmon, which had a wonderful flavor, but was a touch overdone. All in all, this NYC dining experience was fabulous. Rated five stars in all categories.
Service could be improved - it didn’t match it’s reputation. Service was a sloppy and rushed.
The food was outrageously good, but the staff runs the place like a factory. The front desk had the “we don’t need your business” attitude. The wait staff seemed to be incentivized to move you along as quickly as possible so the next group could be seated. Excellent food, bad attitude.
We were seated upstairs for a business lunch, where there was quite a bit of echo. The food was excellent as always, but it seemed like the kitchen and/or staff had too much on their hands, as the meal was slow to arrive and the breaks between courses was very long (total of nearly two hours for a table d'hôte lunch). Most of us had to skip coffee as we had other engagements to run off to.
I would certainly return, but would request not to be seated upstairs where the acoustics aren't very good, and may avoid the table d'hôte given it could be a 1.5 hour commitment!
Food was excellent, table service excellent, loved “shopping” for our fish! The downer was that although we had reservations which we were asked repeatedly to confirm, when we arrived at the restaurant at the designated time, we had to wait almost a half hour for our table...put my husband’s teeth on edge, which was not the best way to begin an anniversary dinner date!
We have dined at Milos previously and enjoyed it but today we were rushed thru the meal. The wait staff attempted to remove plates before we were finished . When we check in they ask if we had a show to attend and we said no so why the rush? We will think twice about a return visit.
Food and service both outstanding. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and cannot wait until my next visit!
My dad and I had dinner here as the last stop of our New York trip. The staff was so nice and service was excellent. The food was fresh and perfect. Coming to Estiatorio Milos was the perfect end to an unforgettable trip!
The waiting staff were great but the food was hugely disappointing. Many of the items we picked off the menu were not available (it would have been helpful if we had been told what was available when we sat down to avoid wasting time choosing a number of times only to be told it was unavailable). When the food did come the quality of it was hugely disappointing and in no way justified the price
We have enjoyed this restaurant many times. Food, service and ambiance are great. Their prix fixe lunch is an exceptional value. We hope to be able to visit again-soon.
Great meal but the place is too noisy to enjoy conversation with your friends.
Top notch dining experience! Helpful waitstaff and unbelievable food!
Food was excellent !
Beautiful ambiance and lively atmosphere. We ordered from the pre theater menu and there was a fairly good number of options to choose from. The food was very good and portion sizes were generous. The service was very attentive and friendly. The pre theater menu was a very good value, especially considering it’s NYC.
I was excited to try this restaurant. We were a party of 6. Most wanted the Prefix dinner as we had a show to attend. The servers rushed us and in my opinion had an " air of superiority ". I had wanted to order off the menu. The waiter said he would be creative. Instead he served me different versions of what my friends had despite my stated wishes. My portion of the main course of sea bream($91.00) was smaller than the prefix porion of the same fish and was full of bones. It was my strong opinion that we were rushed by the staff and no real effort was given to our entire table. I was very dissatisfied despite the beautiful setting.
Expensive but good
The best lunch I have had in theater district.a first class restaurant
After theater meal and service were poor. We have eaten here many times before but this evening was extremely disappointing. Expected more from Milos!
Milo's is always terrific and while expensive, it's worth it.
Great spot Pre theatre or after work. Just be sure to clarify if you want to sit in the main room. We did not and were seated in a quiet upper room. Would have preferred to have been in the main area in the flow. Great food great service.
Delicious, perfect seafood!
We had a wonderful meal and the restaurant is beautiful. Staff were very attentive and helpful. The only criticism I would have relates to cost. I appreciate that New York is expensive and that this is a top end restaurant but the cost of the fish was so very expensive. I feel that 120$ for a piece of fish for two people is extortionate.
Always great! Fresh ‘ lovely restaurant ‘ I always have here great experience ‘ thanks 🙏
The pre-theatre menu is great value and offered us an amazing meal. It introduced us to this restaurant for the first time. We will definitely be back. While I'm no expert reviewer/foodie, I'd wager this is one of the top seafood spots in the city, up there with any of the other well known places like Marea, Aquagrill, and Esca. Thanks for a great meal. Cheers!
Increíble experiencia, buen servicio y mejor comida, recomiendo el menú per-ópera.
Food was fresh and delicious, staff was engaging and attentive. A wonderful experience!!
It was wonderful! Very accommodating to food allergies! The staff was wonderful!
