Fish in Sea Salt
Market price per lb. Wrapped in sea salt and baked in the oven with herbs
I was a little disappointed where the restaurant in Las Vegas actually brings over the fish to your table and the bones it right in front of you this did not happen in New York is all they did was bring over the fish to look at and then 15 minutes later brought it back out but the food was good
One of my favorite places! Milos never disappoints! The food is so fresh and the staff is excellent! If you're looking for a great dinner experience this is the place!
This was our first time dining out since the pandemic. The staff welcomed us back, like we were family, and were very attentive to our needs despite being busy. We had the 3–course lunch - the oysters were delightful, the dorado was perfectly prepared, and the fruit plate was well presented and delicious.
This place is always packed to (permissible) capacity and for good reason. There are other very fine Greek restaurants in the city, but none can make food like Milo’s. I don’t know how they do it, but they are truly a level above the rest. Ambience and service are excellent. We usually have to wait despite a reservation. That is our only (minor) criticism. It is worth the wait.
El servicio y el ambiente de primer nivel, pero la comida espectacular!
Although the food was good, the service was not anywhere near what they brand themselves. Terrible waiting service, clashing plates and utensils around, etc. I went for a Mother's Day dinner, and I cannot say we had a great time.
Great place for octopus and the mushrooms around. Never disappoints
I am a big fan for Milos, tried both Hudson Yard and midtown locations. Great fresh seafood with good service. I have to say, I enjoy the Hudson Yard location, more open with much better front desk staff. I find front desk staff in midtown bit rude and only focus on certain guests.
During Covid, I would suggest the midtown location to reconsider putting tables in the high traffic area such as front of staircase and the bathroom to avoid spread of potential Covid virus.
Otherwise food is always great with nice selection of wine. All servers are well trained and great giving advises.
I might have to revisit the Hudson yard location vs the midtown. I recommend this this restaurant, but diners should try the Hudson Yard location.
Service was not very attentive. Never stopped by to ask if we wanted more drinks, bread, etc.
Food is excellent but some items are overpriced.
Suggest indoor seating, Outdoor seating appeared disorganized.
Also one woman brought a dog, not a service animal, into the tent. I thought that is prohibited in NYC.
Never disappoints. Great menu. Everything was fresh and delicious.
Eater review is correct.
Overpriced for average food with small portions.
$82 for 2 drinks and tiny tuna tartare.
Had to wait 1 hour to get seated and another 1 hour to get served. The waiter was not around and the service wasnt as charming and detail oriented as it always is, for example no olive oil with the bread, no refill of water, etc. Disappointed and thinking about trying other greeks
They are the best. From the bread, to the appetizer, through a he entree. Milos scores high!
Outstanding Service, Outstanding food, very fresh fish, outstanding evening!
Grilled octopus, greek salad and fried zucchini tower was a delicious welcome back to NYC! Always a great ambiance and energy at Milos, too.
Best Greek food
Always wonderful service and excellent food.
the food and menu were stale and from 2 years ago - mediocre, overly oiled vegetables. The fish was of course excellent, but the restaurant had not evolved one bit in years. The restaurant went to sleep. I am in no rush to return.
Terrific as usual.
The food, as always, was excellent, but considering the price point of this restaurant, service was lackluster. We were seated for about 30 minutes before the server took our order, and this was after alerting the host.
A perfect birthday celebration. 100% fantastic
This is a very busy place. The food is top notch and so are the prices. For excellent food, the price has to be high. The place is very attractive and the drinks are good. Highly recommended for big spenders, not for those on a budget.
Good food. Slow service. Very poor value relative to menu offerings (see $34 grilled vegetables, which is the avg. price of an entree is most higher-end restaurants).
Wonderful experience and high-quality food. Beverage selection could be better, but not a dealbreaker
Service and ambience excellent
But fish was too salty
I’ve been to this restaurant, and the one in Las Vegas many times before. However, this was the first time for my three guests and they LOVED it. My pescatarian friend could eat most of the menu ( unlike some restaurants) and I persuaded them to have octopus for the first time. They only came in for a Greek salad and they ate half the menu! Great experience!
Between the woman that showed up after me and was seated before me, and the family that received tons of attention that showed up when I did (they didn’t have a reservation), I felt like an afterthought. I don’t want to think it was about race, but who knows. The food was great, though.
Food and service never disappoint in this high end Greek eatery.
The grilled dorade keeps me coming back. Couldn't complain about the oysters, either. Sitting with a view of the seafood on ice was a real privilege.
Excellent service and food
Extremely poor service with poor attitude
Everything was delicious. Ate outside on heated terrace which was nice.
My friend asked about the wines. She likes a dry white. The wait staff was not helpful. She did not like the glass. They took it away and then charged us for it. I would have drank it had we known.
Wonderful service and delicious food.
the food was fresh and delicious and the service was excellent
Long time to sit Us
You get very little for the amount of money they charge. I’m not certain how they get away with this. I was appalled to be completely honest. I will never return. There are plenty of Greek restaurants out there whose service, quality of food and portion sizes far surpass this restaurants. And lastly, after paying such a hefty bill, the waiters swarmed our table as a means to quickly get us out.
Best restaurant in the city. They are consistent even during these challenging times. Happy to see that they’ve maintained the quality! Going back soon!!
Noveau Greek cuissine. Well done in a luxury environment. I'd go back in a minute.
