Greek
The stunning restaurant, which is the first of its kind in South Jersey, will transport guests to the Greek Islands with an atmosphere reminiscent of an inviting Mediterranean home, and a menu of authentic specialties, simply prepared, that represent the best of Greek cuisine. The restaurant specializes in whole grilled fish, which are flown in from the Greek islands, the shores of Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, and procured from independent North American fishermen. We have created a welcoming restaurant designed with the comforts of a typical Greek home. We used materials such as hand-chiseled Jerusalem limestone floors, hand woven rugs, vaulted ceilings, antiqued stucco walls, wood plank floors and exposed wood beams to evoke the traditional atmosphere. A series of dining areas feature rustic farm tables, dark wood chairs with beige cushions and dining nooks with upholstered banquettes. The homelike ambience is accentuated with whitewashed walls.

Excellent food, excellent drinks. It was a little loud inside, but the food and cocktails greatly outweighed that minor detail

Food was really good(not amazing). But the pricing was ridiculous. For what I got, and what I paid, it wasn't worth it. I'm not a cheap guy, and prefer upper class restaurants but I wont be back

We went for Mothers Day with our toddler and the staff was very accommodating. We loved the hummus served at the table and the calamari was very very fresh. We ordered the mixed seafood over orzo and the halibut. Inside is beautiful. We will definitely be back!

My Grilled Octopus Appetizer came and was delicious! My husband’s Shrimp Cocktail did not arrive by the time I was finished so my husband told our server Justin to please cancel it. His response was that he thought that we were going to share which was clearly not the case. Nonetheless, we ordered entrees which were good. Unfortunately, my husband knocked his glass of red wine which miraculously he caught mid-air. He was covered from his forehead to the large red spots on his light blue sweater yet our server did not even offer to bring club soda to help dissolve the stains let alone another glass of wine! We like the food but will not be returning to the dining room anytime soon.

I ordered the Lobster pasta, I received a plate of pasta submerged in a kind of tomatoes sauce that was contained a cheesy taste (never knew Greeks used cheese with fish!) With regards to the presence of Lobster it was hardy tasted or visible, two one inch sized lobster meats were present!
I hardy can believe it was worth $40.- for my dish!
If they were out of the lobster that day why not tell? Also their decorative plate containing half a lobster shell was so re-used that it made me think on how they run their hygiene procedures in the kitchen!
Will have to think twice before eating there again.

Hi Patrizio - Wanted to clarify and answer your concerns. For your particular order there was 1 pound of lobster served. Sometimes we take a 2 pound lobster and sell it for 2 orders, in this particular case that is what happened. Everything is cooked to order and shells are NOT reused. The lobster linguine dish is very popular and ordered very often and would've gladly refunded if returned during your experience. Kind Regards Gus Pashalis

Love this restaurant. Both the food and service are excellent. Have never been disappointed whether it’s been lunch, Happy Hour, or dinner. I hosted my daughter’s bridal shower at Estia, and that too, was a pleasure thanks to the knowledgeable and professional staff. Always recommend this place and have made a reservation for this Sunday for Greek Easter - had such a nice Easter dinner last Sunday, thought we’d head back for an authentic Greek menu offering.

I generally enjoy my experiences at Estia Taverna, however on this occasion the food and the service were less than I've come to expect from Estia. My party went to an early seating at 4:00pm.One guest requested sesame tuna, from the menu, and we were told it was not available. My wife and I ordered the salt crusted black sea bass. The portions we received are not what we've come to expect. I would recommend that the plating and deboning of the fish take place table side. Overall, the service was slow and less than attentive.

The food was terrific. We ordered the whole sea bass which was perfectly cooked. It was very flavorful and void of any unnecessary sauces. It was truly a very healthy meal. We also ordered the lamb chops. They were perfectly cooked and a very tasty quality meat. Our server was spot on perfect. She was knowledgeable and very comfortable in her job. She was personable, friendly and funny but all within the parameters of professionalism. We will return again in the near future.

Our anniversary dinner was better than we had imagined. From the waiter to the food this place surely made our night a wonderful one filled with good memories. Food was delicious and creatively decorated and the environment was what we were hoping for; calm and warm. We will surely return to Estia for our dinner dates.

The server was very helpful. We came for the oyster special which lived up to expectations. Initially the server said they were out of oysters, the reason we came. And after we made perfectly clear that we were going to leave, somehow they managed to find enough oysters to satisfy us. The appetizers were just fine and the drinks were generous, if fully priced.

My daughter was home for the weekend, couldn’t pass up a dinner out with her mom. She wanted to try a Greek resteraunt near home. I’ve driven by many times & this was a perfect opportunity. The service from beginning to end was fantastic. Our first time eating Greek food & we wanted to try new dishes. So upon asking our server for suggestions he was very familiar & gave us fantastic choices to choose from. I was surprised by how tasty & well prepared our meal was. Truly felt the love in the food. The next time she flies home we will definitely be back again.
