The stunning restaurant, which is the first of its kind in South Jersey, will transport guests to the Greek Islands with an atmosphere reminiscent of an inviting Mediterranean home, and a menu of authentic specialties, simply prepared, that represent the best of Greek cuisine. The restaurant specializes in whole grilled fish, which are flown in from the Greek islands, the shores of Morocco, Tunisia and Portugal, and procured from independent North American fishermen. We have created a welcoming restaurant designed with the comforts of a typical Greek home. We used materials such as hand-chiseled Jerusalem limestone floors, hand woven rugs, vaulted ceilings, antiqued stucco walls, wood plank floors and exposed wood beams to evoke the traditional atmosphere. A series of dining areas feature rustic farm tables, dark wood chairs with beige cushions and dining nooks with upholstered banquettes. The homelike ambience is accentuated with whitewashed walls.

We had stayed away from this restaurant for a period of time after several unsatisfactory experiences and one simply dreadful experience. Problem seems rooted in the succession of weak managers. It is hard to forget the day that a large group allowed their children to run all over, pounding on the tables and then finally started teaching the young boys and young girls how to play baseball in between the tables. It was up to staff to apologize and also to tell us that the manager was hiding in the back. That got resolved only after the police were contacted. Thus, it was with some caution that we approached dinner here again. The staff, waiters and food runners, were the same and were helpful still. The food is a bit of an acquired taste, I'm on a restricted diet so it's hard for me to find something to enjoy here but all of the food seems to be heavily seasoned, yet popular, at least on occasion.

What was really disturbing about this evening what is the behavior of the manager on duty. We noticed, with some trepidation, that an order of the Estia chips, which is served as a tower presentation, was taken by the manager, in full view of the patrons, whereupon he used his bare hands to rearrange the tower of food. It was nauseating and should result in a food safety rating of unsatisfactory.

Drove past the place on Rt. 70 for years but never stopped. I liked the Italian restaurant that was there previously and I heard this restaurant was pricey. Well I found out tonight you surely get what you pay for. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. We started with the Estia Chips (you have to try them) and the Greek salad which my wife and I split. We had the organic chicken and the halibut and again we split the grilled vegetables. OUTSTANDING!

Coming from a city with a great restaurant scene our expectations have been pretty low but our bar is pretty high. Estia is a great little suburban gem with excellent food selections, a nice crowd no matter the night, and attentive service.

Beautiful upscale Greek taverna. Great martini, artfully-displayed fresh fish which was perfectly grilled, correctly made and served Greek coffee. Professional service. Expensive but worth it.

We stopped by for Sunday lunch and had a wonderful meal. Estia is consistently quite good in food and service with excellent value on traditional Greek food.

The staff will explain how to pronounce the names of dishes in Greek and had some great suggestions about pairing wine with the meals we selected.

We dine here frequently and will continue to do so.

We have been at Estia before and loved the food. So back we went for another wonderful meal. Service was good, food was good, my only observation is that because of the structure and decor, the noise level is quite high and that makes it difficult when conversing with others.

We came for restaurant week and ate off the special menu, but I prefer the regular menu. Their food is delicious but was disappointed in my greek salad, which didn't have any lettuce.

Went during restaurant week. Bathrooms were tight and needed a cleaning but the restaurant floor design was open and spacious. Drinks were a bit pricey. Food wasn’t proportional between 4 people who ordered the same thing but the dishes were delicious, to say the very least. It was quiet and relaxed when we first arrived but got very busy, quickly. Overall, a decent experience and wonderfully tasteful dining.

Everything was wonderful. Perfect service. Delicious appetizers and salad. Complimentary birthday dessert. Will return again and again. Just a little too much salt in the Moussaka for me. The table next to us loved it- so I have order less salty food for my palate

We had lunch here for our anniversary, and it was great! The server was very accommodating. We both had the express lunch. I had souvlaki with Greek salad, and my husband had the soup of the day and the fish of the day. Everything was very well-prepared and tasty. They even surprised us with dessert with a candle for our anniversary! We definitely made a good choice in going to Estia!

We were warmly greeted by a friendly hostess and seated in a generous booth. Brianna our server was pleasant and well informed of the menu. Her service was wonderful. The food was outstanding. We enjoyed the entire experience. It’s a beautiful restaurant. We will be back for the tuna tartare and the fish of the day for sure!

Having been to the Philadelphia location multiple times, always a positive experience, my friend and I were happy to see that we were nearby this location after attending a funeral. Sadly, the funeral was the highlight of the night. We were seated immediately, and our water glasses filled-great start! Then we sat. We sat for 25 minutes with no attention before I decided to check with the manager. He clearly sent someone to our table, but the exertion of it was obviously too much as the manger did not smile, apologize, or offer any type of kindness. The server was great once we got him, even if we had to sit with dirty plates in front of us for a little too long. The food was delicious.

We regularly eat out and have no problem spending good money for great food/service. That being said the waiter misinformed us about the pricing of the fish. Invariably, we paid $80 for one grilled fish which leads me to the poor value assessment. An apology without any valid effort to remedy the miscommunication seems weak.

Excellent meal. Nice way to celebrate Valentine's Day on the weekend after the day. The grilled octopus is not to be missed! Very attentive server and found the price fix menu a good value. Sunday night was much a more quiet ambiance compared to a couple of other times when our visit was very noisy. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

We dined at Estia Taverna for the first time Saturday night. The food was excellent as well as the service.it was a very nice evening.
I got the sea bass and my date got the steak. We shared the Greek salad and got the chips as an appetizer.
It is pricey but nice for a special occasion.

I found the food mediocre at best, diner food. The young hostess was attractive but not very friendly at all. The waiter was a nice man but never shared specials or dessert options.
