Service was sub-par, sorry to say. Have dined here over many years many times . Hopeful they will take more care with more professional serious service.

Went for Restaurant Week-main course fish of the day was delicious. Dessert cake was dry/mediocre and spanikopita app pastry was odd. Don’t know why Restaurant Week choices were not best foot forward for the restaurant

We went for restaurant week and had a delicious meal! One of the people in our party said the lamb chop was the best he had ever had. Everyone enjoyed their meal, would also recommend the grilled octopus.

Estia did not meet up to its usual standards on this visit. Perhaps this was because it was restaurant week. The restaurant was very crowded and noisy. We were seated near a large party with some rather loud guests. But more disappointing was the food. My sea bass was delicious, but not as hot as it should have been. My guest’s lamb chops were ordered medium well, but came out rather rare. Even after they were returned to the kitchen, they were still fairly red. The baklava offerred for dessert was very good, but the walnut cake was very dry. We’ve had it before and this was not the same. We’ll return, but not during restaurant week.

Great restaurant! Especially for restaurant week prices. Loved the grilled calamari and octopus. The lamb and shrimp entree were fabulous too!

We were here for restaurant week and was simply the best experience I’ve had it a long time! The octopodi was a delicious starter and the lamb chops were cooked and seasoned beautifully! Our server was charming, fun, and made our experience even better!

Very large, nice decor, however there was a TV playing what looked like scenery of Greece - kind of tacky IMO.

Met family here for restaurant week, as we love eating here and the price was right. Our favorites are the lamb chops and the grilled fish. Great vibe, good happy hour 1/2 price drinks and apps. Take a table by the window and watch the pedestrians flow by. Located right next to the Academy of Music.

Just have to love this place. It never disappoints. Everything about it is top shelf. Can't say enough good things to do it justice.

The food was very good and enjoyed. What was disappointing was the hard sell the waiter gave us for the wine bottle special, especially after saying that we were not ordering wine.

We have never been dissappointed eating at Estiia. This time we all had the Octopus appetizer and lamb chops. Everything was properly prepared and was delicious.

Tremendous food, great wine selection. Service could have been better. I had to ask twice to get the drink menu back and then they forgot to bring the drink I ordered.

We went for restaurant week lunch. It was a great deal - worked out to be about $25 per person for a table of four. The waitress was great, a lady took our coats at the door and made us feel at home. Had some nice bread and hummus in addition to the set menu.

Went there on the restaurant week as we saw glowing reviews earlier. They didn’t disappoint. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection, though a little low on salt to my palette. But nevertheless I liked it. The side of tzatziki were great. My wife’s boiled chicken was nicely done. We went for an additional order of grilled jumbo shrimp, which was really good. The dessert of baklava was one of the best I had, not too sweet, where most goes wrong. Overall a great night out for us.

We had an early dinner before a show at the Academy of Music during Restaurant Week. While it was crowded, the service was excellent. Attentive but you did not feel rushed. We ordered off of the Restaurant Week menu and the octopus appetizer was close to, if not the best octopus I had ever had. We ordered this and the Greek Salad at the suggestion of our waiter and he did not steer us wrong. He also suggested the sea bass and lamb chops for our entrees and both were also delicious. I had not been to Estia for several years but found both the food and service superior to what I had remembered.

Located in the Avenue of the Arts area, Estia serves a very good Pre-Theater menu which is very reasonably priced. Their regular menu is very extensive with something for everyone's palate.
Service is very good. Convenient to the Academy of Music and other theaters.

Basically good. A selection of appetizers - greens, potatoes, beet salad - would have been really good except that it was served at a frigid temperature. Octopus was excellent, as was a special of Arctic char. Service was fine.

Enjoyed a wonderful meal at Estia. Warm and cozy inside, delightful and attentive service, and fantastic food. We enjoyed the theater menu - apps, main course, and dessert were all awesome. The "fish of the day" was excellent! Definitely will go there again.

One of the best restaurants in Philadelphia and certainly the BEST GREEK restaurant. One goes there for the food but the surroundings and service are exceptional. Have taken there many friends FROM Greece and they can’t believe we have such a great dining place with such authentic food here in Philadelphia. They all say “it feels and tastes like home”. I have been going to Estia ever since it opened over a decade ago and I cannot believe it has never been listed as one of the top Philadelphia restaurants.
