Wonderful as usual! Extremely noisy group nearby and our waiter tried his best to ask them to keep the noise down. Only 3 people but sounded like a cackling hen and a mob!
More expensive than I expected
Definitely one of the best places to share a meal in Philly. The service is always friendly and attentive and the chef never disappoints.
We would definitely eat here again. This restaurant is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. The atmosphere is absolutely inviting, the seafood is frsh. The appetizers are authentic and/or creative. If you let it, this restaurant will take you from your own world and into its own moment, which is charming. Recommended.
Wonderful service and dining !
Excellent ambience. Excellent food. Excellent service. It is best of Philadelphia particularly for Greek food.
This was a great place for pre-performance brunch before the opera at the Academy of Music. Food was very good, lovely decor, fast and pleasant service. The regular menu looked wonderful and our friends enjoyed their selections. My husband and I ordered off the brunch menu which was also very good.
Lamb chops were not hot and when returned to the kitchen came back charred and covered in oil . I don't think we should have paid for the meal
Fabulous meal and service. Was surprised that we got a separate room to dine in. Was great to be able to talk to our guests.
We had an excellent pre-theater meal, reasonably priced. All 3 courses were excellent. The fish (a sea bass) was superb, as were the calamari appetizer and the honey walnut cake dessert. The bread and pita are also particularly good.
My date and I enjoyed dinner here Saturday evening. The entire visit was absolutely fabulous. We arrived half an hour early for our reservation but they had tables available so we were seated immediately . Then they quite willingly allowed us to change to a different , more intimate table, when we asked. Drinks, a Burnt Manhattan for me, a Pomegranate Margarita for my companion, were prepared perfectly and delivered promptly. Ruby, our waitress, knowing this was my first visit to Estia, answered all menu related questions in clear and understandable terms. The food was amazing. We enjoyed an appetizer of Spread Pilikia, Kale and Horiatiki "Country" salads, and incredible fish entrees, Lavraki and Tsipoura. We couldn't end this amazing meal without sharing their special version of a Molten Lava Chocolate Cake and a couple of glasses port wine. Thank very much, Ruby and the entire staff of Estia, for providing us with an amazing dining experience from start to finish. I can't wait to return.
Not impressed. The Greek food shouldn't been that expensive unless there is a special gourmet meal.
The one we tried for these menu would never should cost $35 per person.
The quality and what is offered on a plate shouldn't be costing more then $13 ...
We had a large party of 8. Service was great. Very friendly.
Another wonderful experience at Estia for a pre-opera dinner. Service was particularly good.
Amazing food and and atmosphere.... it gave us flashbacks of our gastronomic experiences in Greece...
Saki was a great waiter...
Every part of our experience was a positive one.
