Estia - Philadelphia
Wonderful ambiance, drinks and food. And as always service was impeccable! We love Saki💜
Always a great meal and service.
The lamb chops are AMAZING! Other things are hit or miss, but the lamb chops are 100% worth it.
Our server was incredibly helpful. The food was superb and a bit pricey.
Love this place.
Only minor item was that it took 15 minutes to get a drink and the place was not all that crowded.
Food was good. Server just seemed to be in a hurry
Always a great meal and great service. One of my go-to restaurants to impress guests to Philadelphia
The octopus app is excellent! Also liked the pita and spreads. While the restaurant was 'lively', we had requested a quiet table and were seated appropriately.
The place to go in Philadelphia for fresh seafood expertly prepared.
Delicious, authentic food, great atmosphere in the middle of the city. There was some confusion over the bill that took some time to resolve but other than that, great experience.
The best food and experience
Delicious as always!
Always enjoy coming here. We had the theater menu which is the best value for money and still has quite a good choice of food. Love the ambiance!
It was my wife's birthday & everything was FANTASTIC!! The octopus was super tender & my lamb chops were cooked to order (med rare) & seasoned nicely. My wife received a birthday card when we arrived at the restaurant & they came & sung 'happy birthday' to her during dessert (NO....It wasn't that creepy 'TGI Friday' type birthday singing. It was nice!!). Everything was perfect.......Thanks!!!
I love Greek food, so I was really looking forward to our Saturday early evening meal at Estia. Sadly, it was just OK. The service was Ok. The food was, on average, OK. It was crowded and uptight.
How can a Greek restaurant, of all places, serve dried out Chicken?! Why offer a Greek salad, when the chunks of tomatoes are bland and mealy.
What a disappointment.
Came for quick lunch before matinee ballet. Delicious, enjoyed the price fixe menu
We celebrated my younger daughter’s 30th birthday here with lunch before seeing a ballet at the Academy of Music. The entire experience at Estia was top-notch. Delicious food, lovely Greek rose’ wine, and careful and attentive service. We appreciate that Estia always has vegetarian options and can remove dairy from many options as well. The dolmades and the beet appetizer with potatoes and greens are always good, as is the eggplant entree and the grilled tuna salad. Definitely recommend the baclava for dessert!
Wonderful food service and ambience as usual.
Always enjoyable to eat at Estia. Service was excellent.
Food very good.
looking forward to coming back again.
Prix fixe lunch menu with good selections of healthy and/or traditional Greek food.
Great good. Great location. And they accommodated my request quiet table
It is one of our favorite dining spots in the city, and it was Linda’s birthday. Everything was perfect, from the appetizers, to the complementary dessert.Thank you for making it such a memorable evening.
The pre- theater meal was delicious. We enjoyed the hummus appetizers which were delicious. I had the fish which came to my table steaming hot, and it was delicious. My cousin has moussaka which was hot and delicious too.I had the baclava for dessert which was the perfect finishing touch. It was served with plenty of time to pay our bill and see the ballet with plenty of time to spare. I would definitely go back again, delicious food.
Our food was absolutely delicious! AND Corey, our server, was absolutely AWESOME! So pleasant, patient, helpful and cheerful- we’ll be sure to ask for him always!
Food is always excellent. Have visited Estia a few times as it is a favorite place for us. Highly recommended!
Estia is the perfect restaurant for dinner after a matinee at the Kimmel Center, Merriam Theater or Academy of Music. The tasty Greek-influenced food keeps spirits high after enjoying a great show.
Terrific before a Saturday afternoon show
Great as ususal
Amazing as always! A great place to go when you have abundant time. It is a long meal with a focus on enjoying the experience.
Great place for a wonderful meal. They have a very nice Theater menu for those taking in a show.
Not noisy ! Old generation customer more than young one , I like it , they all haven’t their own taste .
I very rarely give five (5) stars. Wonderful pre theatre dining menu! I enjoyed an excellent craft Manhattan, and we were both impressed with the delicious calamari and lamb Trahana and complimentary bread. Perfect portions for before a show. Service was friendly and attentive. We plan on returning soon.
Restaurant has lovely ambience. Servers were friendly but never got the olive oil we asked for. Knife disappeared after appetizer and had to ask twice for a fresh one to eat entree. Drinks were slow to arrive...both pre-dinner cocktails and then wine with dinner.
Biggest disappointment was that the $35 pre-fixe menu had added amounts to some of the dishes...which we didn't notice as they were small and not pointed out to us. When a menu gives you choices of 3 courses for $35 then that should be what it costs......otherwise those items cannot be under the heading of $35.
Such a shame as we've been in before for drinks and appetizers and looked forward to coming back for this pre-fixe menu before a show. A little disappointing.
Estia, as always, delivered. The fish of the day was perfect. The side was excellent. My friend wanted to substitute the side and this was no problem at all. Our table was ready on time, in a quiet part of the restaurant, which allowed to have a conversation. For an appetizer, I just took a Romaine salad, but even that simple dish can be done better or worse and theirs is just a pleasure. The pre theater dinner is a good deal and one has enough choices for an enjoyable dinner. Service was prompt and allowed us to get to the theater comfortably, with no rush on dinner and no rush on getting there. Will definitely continue to go there occasionally.
Estia never disappoints. This was a before theater dinner. The server was aware and we had plenty of time for a relaxing dinner. A happening place that it is fun to visit. Margaret
We were seeing a show at the Academy of Music and this was the perfect location for dinner beforehand. They even offered an optional fixed price theater menu. The food was delicious, the staff was very attentive and we'll definitely be back!
Food was very good. Service was very good. Worth the trip into the city.
Food was delicious! Drinks were perfect and our waitress was a very professional and cool person
Great lunch before Academy of Music show.
Awesome food...second time visiting this resto (3 years ago!!) and just as great as the first time.
Server’s suggestions were on point and fantastic service.
