Charcoal grilled Australian lamb chops marinated in olive oil, fresh herbs and lemon, served with Greek fried potatoes and tzatziki
Thinly sliced zucchini and eggplant lightly fried served with tzatziki
Chopped romaine hearts, grated feta, creamy caper dill dressing
great food, nice ambiance, nice booths - would highly recommend
We met friends who have eaten here before. We hadn’t. Started with fried zucchini and eggplant (cut very thin)-delicious. Shared 3 appetizers with 3 of our 6 friends. Excellent , fresh, cold Greek salad. The tomato was exceptionally firm and tasty...feta good, not dry and crumbly. Mussels were plump and sauce was very tasty with cheese.Spanicopita crust was over-baked(only part of meal I didn’t enjoy). My lamb chops were perfectly prepared. Tender meat, nice thinkness and had excellent taste-best lamb chops in a long time! The dessert was cigar- rolled baklava- enjoyed that there was more filling then filo. We will definitely return!!
Amazing, friendly, personable service that brought smiles to the entire table!
Excellent food and service. Can't wait to return.
I came to Philly specifically for Restaurant Week and invited my friend with whom I’m staying to enjoy all that Estia has to offer. It was the restaurant I choose for our first night of my stay, and it didn’t disappoint! She and I both loved the sea bass for our main dish and she was overjoyed at the tenderness of the octopus starter. The service is impeccable and the interior is inviting and cozy. Makes a great date night location, too!
Always a nice experience at Estia. Look forward to going back
I would recommend Estia to anybody. We live in New Jersey but its worth the trip over the bridge. Yu can use my name for any promotion.
$40 Restaurant Week menu was an incredible value and the food was fantastic particularly the lamb chops.
The food was amazing! The lamb chops were to mouth watering. Everything was just great! The waiter was also really nice. He was doing a great job despite how busy it was. I think his name was Daniel. Thanks Dan! Lol
I absolutely loved how they had the outside set up. It was so cute! The noise from the street was a little disruptive, but that didn’t stop us gal pals from having a great time! The food was absolutely delicious and our waiter Daniel was amazing! Would definitely recommend eating here!
A very attentive staff and delicious food makes our visits something to look forward to.
The staff was so helpful and accommoating! Loved the atmosphere, and the food was delicious!
I had not been to Estia in a long time primarily because of the noise level I experienced here and especially in Radnor. But a Sunday night late dinner proved perfect to again.
I enjoyed the mussels and red sauce which offered tender mussels and sweet sauce. My entree of sea bass was perfect. Great evening.
Food was delicious! Service was impeccable! Will DEFINITELY return again!!
The service was great and so was the food.
My wife had the sea bass and I had the lamb chops. Both dishes were prepared perfectly. Miguel was a good natured and attentive server. The manager (don't know her name) came to check on us. All around it was a pleasant dinner experience.
We have been here multiple times as a family. The service was excellent. The ambiance was classy as always. The food was tasty, but not quite as tasty as pre-pandemic. However we did enjoy our experience and understand restaurants are recovering. We shall return.
i took my partner here for their birthday and i would like to say that i would def return. the crowd was very diverse the staff were really pleasing and they accommodated our every need. i went on a friday evening around 7pm and still our food came out quick and hot—don’t have no complaints. like i said we’ll def return for another date night here.
Estia is a wonderful Greek restaurant. The Moussaka was light and flavorful, the grilled octopus was perfection, and the lamb chops were worth nibbling every last bite off the bone. Authentic, excellently prepared food every time.
Delicious food.‘Superb service.
We consistently come back to Estia because the food is exceptional and unique. The service is wonderful; perfectly attentive and inconspicuous. We love their Pre theatre dinner menu. We have always loved Greek food and Estia is simply the bery best. All of the produce is very fresh all year round.
My husband & I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Estia from our table placement, to our server, to our food. Our server (I believe it was Javier) was there for all we needed without being overbearing…just the right amount of attention! We shared the Estia chips, which were crisp & light, the Horiatiki Salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, green peppers, feta cheese with a light dressing…both were scrumptious! We then shared Fagri, a white fish with a light sauce, topped with capers. This is one of our favorites here. The fish is mild tasting, but with substance. Another excellent meal shared at one of our favorite restaurants!
Great food and service
We had a party of 8 and they gave us a private room. So great!!!!!
Lamb chops were excellent the baby eggplant was alittle overcooked overall a very good experience
Great evening at Estia; sidewalk outside seating. We both got the pre-theatre menu. Salads were garden fresh. Lamb shank delicious. Don’t skip the baklava. Funny helpful waiter.
First time here. Everything was amazing. The food was delicious, Daniel was very attentive and fun. And the atmosphere was elegant. Can’t wait to go back.
Great food and service
Outside street noise wAs very loud
We used to love this place. We get that you can't get certain things like Barbounia, but Taramasalata? And while the Dover Sole was great the Dorade was not. We ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list which, after delivery, was never again poured by our waiter, although the table next to us had wine service all night. We have been to this restaurant many times; too bad we were told that management said certain food items were no longer considered important. That's dissapointing. Oh, well. It was a favorite of ours when in Philly.
Always excellent. Took my older sons who had not been to Estia. A very enjoyable evening.
Great food and service. Can be a bit pricey but well worth it. I keep going nack
Estia is such an elegant restaurant! Caitlyn was our server and did a great job. New for this dinner was the Lamb Shank. Wow, really good!! Also the octopus appetizer rocked. Looking forward to next time!
My wife and I went there for dinner. Overall it was really great. The only drawback is the noise level. They do not have any carpet so the noise level can be a little bit intrusive. The food and the service are outstanding. Highly recommend for dinner. Currently they are not open for lunch.
The drinks were well made and the food was outstanding. Known for their fish.... I had the lamb and it was really good.
A bad oyster, which happens, was not offered to be replaced. My lamb chops were cooked well instead of medium rare and our waiter was nowhere to be found while I and my date sat waiting to have the order corrected, causing her fish to become tough and dry as a shoe.
When I worked in the business, her dish would have been replaced as well or at least kept warm and replated.
Absolutely wonderful service &food.
The food was delicious however the service wasn’t great. Our waiter took our order and didn’t come back until it was time for the check. He walked pass us a bunch of times but never asked if we wanted another drink or to check in. I had to ask another person to bring us more water.
We waited 20 mins to be asked for drinks or anything. The halibut was over grilled and tasted more like chicken. The cheesecake was a gelatin dessert, not worth the price and underwhelming. The lamb chops were very good however. The ambiance is very nice. Wish the fish and the service were better. We love this restaurant and we hope it improves. It’s an expensive restaurant and we expect a little higher than this. We want to come back hopefully.
Went for my anniversary dinner and we had such a nice time and meal. Highly recommend.
