Birthday dinner for a friend. The server (Miguel) was very attentive and pleasant.
Javier is the consumate professional as a server. Estia has the best crab cake appetizer in the city!! The dinners and wine were excellent. Fair warning, the lobster linguini is a lot of food!! Their cheesecake is different and delicious. It is made with greek yogurt and honey. A nice finish to a terrific night out. Thank you!!
What a beautiful restaurant; nicely appointed, charming interior, super attentive staff. My co-diner had the sea bass: v good. I had chicken: one half was very dry, the other half moist…it was ok. Baklava was fabulous
This is one of our standard restaurants to eat when we come to Philadelphia, the food is delicious, the service is timely and courteous, and the ambience is fun. I had the branzini and it was prepared perfectly and the taste was delicate and wonderful texture. The octopus appetizer was perfect as usual and the eggplant chips very tasty. The oysters were also excellent. My wife had the lamp chops and they also were cooked to our liking and very tasty. The food has always been perfect.
Birthday dinner at my favorite restaurant! It was great but I only go for special occasions because it’s EXPENSIVE. We had two appetizers, two entrees, two desserts, a salad to share, and three drinks between the two of us, and it was $250+ including a 20% tip. Still great. Get the Plaki (sea bass)!!!
Great experience!! Highly recommended especially for events.
The service was very slow. We ordered dinner at 6:00 and didn’t get out until 9:00. It was exhausting!
Great experience as always.
Love and highly recommend Estia.
Went here for a graduation dinner with my family from out of town. It was amazing! Great service and atmosphere with delicious food. 10/10
Three diners. Two dishes were sub-par, one was fine. Service was mostly good. The restaurant is nice, very well decorated and appointed.
A great place for dinner after the theater. The food and ambience were top-notch. Highly recommended.
We had a great meal at Estia. We had booked outdoors before we knew we would be having a heatwaVe. The hostess was wonderful and found an indoor table for us. We shared the octopus appetizer-it could easily feed three. It was tender and so delicious. I ordered the lamb chops for dinner and they were wonderful. They came with Greek potatoes, my husband said they were the best potatoes he’s ever had. Again, a large portion. My husband had a whole fish which was good but not worth the price. We finished the dinner with a scoop each of three refreshing and delicious gelatos. We really enjoyed our evening and would love to return.
The food was amazing! The lamb chops and baklava were exceptional!
Pretty good. Lamb chops especially. But also everything in general. Ambiance had low-lit lighting and was quite cozy.
Great food and service. The Greek salad was so fresh. It had the best feta cheese. This is not a quiet place if you are looking for that.
Exceptional quality food
Excellent food. We've never had a bad experience or a bad meal at Estia. Be careful! You will fill up on appetizers and salad. Leave room for the Swordfish souvlaki!
Great anniversary dinner! Worth the money. The Greek salad was an amazing deconstruction!! Lamb Chops are out of this world!
Food was great. Service was good and despite the rain, outdoor dining experience was great. Courses were brought out in a timely manner. Restaurant week menu was worth it. Will definitely be returning
The hostess accommodated to move us from outside to inside due to the weather. Service was good though it felt a bit rushed. The Black Sea bass w capers was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the staff. Will return.
Went for restaurant week and it was incredible!
Always delicious reservations important to have. Very convenient if you are in center city Phila.
Visited during restaurant week & had a nice time. Food was good, but was surprised no sides were on our entrees, but food was delicious. We also all enjoyed our cocktails. Service a little sparse, but otherwise an awesome experience
Fabulous food, service and setting
I have been there often
Great food and great atmosphere! The restaurant is beautiful.
Great food! Would 100% recommend to anyone
Best lamb I ever had, the server (the man who owns the restaurant) was so nice and kept coming up to us to check in.
Great food. Beautiful space and wonderful service. Try the fried cheese.
We really enjoyed ourselves, the food and the service were perfect.
Very good food and service. Price point is very high.
Estie has always been excellent and this visit is no exception. The three of us all had the octopus appetizer and the portion was huge and it was the tastiest and most tender I have ever had. We all had lamb chops for the main course and Baklava for dessert and they too were excellent. Service was friendly plus.
Definitely, recommend! Everything was fabulous from the food, drinks to the waiters. 😉👍🏼
Food and service were amazing! From the appetizers to dessert. I look forward to going back.
Came here for center city restaurant week and was treated to the most amazing meal accompanied by characteristically Greek warm hospitality.
Food and service were outstanding! Very comfortable and wait staff was very attentive.
My group of friends and I wanted to try out this place during restaurant week, and it DID NOT disappoint! The food on the restaurant week menu was of similar presentation and quality as if you were to order from the typical menu there. They give you unlimited warm bread with hummus, and I highly recommend the charcoal grilled octopus, the estia chips, and the lamb chops...they were absolutely delightful! The waiters were attentive, and they served our meals quickly one after another.
Very nice experience. The lamb chops were delicious!!
We celebrated my wife’s birthday with dinner with friends and the food and service were amazing, as always. Our server was very attentive and made sure we were content every course of the meal. We also loved that we didn’t feel rushed through the courses. We have been other places that bring things out one after another but the spacing for the multiple courses we ordered was fantastic. Really enjoyed the meal!
The food was authentic Greek and the drinks were inventive.
I have never had a meal at Estia that was less than outstanding. The lamb chops are always plentiful and delicious. The Greek specialties are all wonderful and should not be missed. For some reason the service was slow. I suspect that the wait staff was diminished by Covid. The food was as special as always. Can’t recommend Estia highly enough. It should also be noted for future dining the Estia has a pre theater menu which allows for an amazing dinner and time to get to your seat at the Academy or the Kimmel Center before the curtain comes up. All in all Estia is one of Philadelphia’s best.
