Need to book at 2:15 AM?Other great restaurants with availability.
This is one our favorite restaurants in Phillie. It was fabulous and we had our favorite servers, Saki!
Amazing food and great service. The drinks were fantastic too! My wife and I both come from Greek families and we were super impressed by all the food. Definitely will be back!
waiter at first did not give us an itemized bill - when I questioned him on it he said-- "I'll get one for you" when he return he said -" good thing - there was a "mistake"" - yes it was $50 in his favor - on checking - two tables nearby had a similar "mistake"
The service was very good and the waiters/waitresses were very kind and welcoming. The food was exceptional and was above expectations. The wait time for the food was normal/as expected. I will be coming back for sure.
Amazingly delicious food, loved the stuffed calamari, unlike any I have sampled before. Outstanding lamb chops, seasoned perfectly. Wonderful prawns, grilled to perfection.
Special Lunch Fixe Prixe menus on holidays make this center city location a special valued experience.
Server we had was very attentive, made sure we had water at all times. Food always consistent every time we go.
The freshest ingredients and great staff! Perfect birthday dinner /we’ll be back!
We have been to Estia many, many times but this time Tsaki was our waiter. He added another delightful dimension to the already perfect evening. WE WILL BE BACK.
Great Food and the Service was outstanding.
Portions were good except for the dessert......the cheesecake was tiny, and though it was tasty i did not feel it was worth the price.......
I have been to Estia many times. I wanted a quiet restaurant in order to catch up with a friend at lunch. At first, the hostess sat us close to a noisy group, but moved us to a better location after I requested her to do so.
Lunch was good. Service was good. Nothing spectacular but more than adequate.
Dined prior to a show. Had the “Theater” menu option
the food was the star of the evening, but the service, atmosphere and price was just as good. best Greek food that we have had in years
I've eaten at Estia quite a few times, usually focusing on their Greek specialties, which are fine. On my last visit, all four of us got fish, and it was outstanding. I've been told the owners import their fish themselves from the Mediterranean. Don't know if that's so, but I can say the fish is extraordinarily fresh and delicious. The whole, raw fish are on display on ice, and the freshness apparent in their clear eyes is very telling. Our fish dishes were grilled to perfection. All of this does not come cheap, but I think it was fair value. The vegetable dishes (e.g., greens, grilled vegetables) were also very good, as was our avgolemono soup. Our server was attentive but not intrusive, and we appreciated greatly that the restaurant was quieter than is the norm in Center City. However, that may not be the case when it is full.
Love it there!! Food is the best
We chose Estia for lunch when in Philadelphia because of the convenient location and our experience there two years ago, but the food was not as flavorful as in our previous visit. The spread pikilia tasted like it was made hours before being served and the bread that accompanied it was limp. The tuna and avocado in the tuna tartare were of good quality, but it did not compare to that which we have had at a restaurant that adds just a little seaweed to make the dish more flavorful. at $102.81 before tip, we expect a much more flavorful lunch.
Good food but very loud. The Spanikopita was great and the service was awesome!
The very best Mediterranean food in Philadelphia! Food is fresh, beautifully prepared and presented. Staff is awesome!
Can’t wait to go back!! Food was amazing. Fresh, simple and satisfying.
My family’s favorite restaurant in the city - food is amazing and so fresh. Simplicity wins here.
Pre-concert meal, ordered fixed price 3-course dinner. Food was delicious. Also waiter recommended a very nice wine. We were there at 6pm. About 1/2 way through dinner the noise level increased but tolerable.
This place never fails to impress with quality, service and value!
Always enjoyable wonderfully prepared fresh food and service. Very convenient walking distance to the theaters on Broad Street.
Great food and service
All the dishes were fantastic- the food was a bit slow coming out. Told it was ready then we waited another 15-20
Great for a group business dinner - the service was helpful to accommodate the group and would absolutely recommend again.
Always a good place for a casual lunch with friends or a good business lunch. Great food, great lunch values. Love the octopus!
Having eaten here and other Estia outlets several times, I was disappointed a bit in my lunch with a colleague. Overall it’s a decent meal but both of our kebabs were very greasy and oily. Not up to a good standard. The salad we got with it had virtually no dressing and it took a long time to get additional which is just poor. And finally how difficult is it to get pepper? We are still never came. Overall a very average lunch at best.
Great food & service
I’ve been there 6 or 7 times and I always want to return. The waiter wasn’t friendly but everyone else was. The food is excellent.
We have had many lovely meals at Estia, but were disappointed on February 1st. Service was not good with the waitstaff not very available. We ended up ordering less wine and no dessert because of accessibility of waitstaff. The food, itself, was ok, but not stellar. Estia chips were greasy and appeared not to have been cooked at the right temperature. The fish and shellfish were ok, not fishy, but not fresh and bright like really fresh fish. The bill was outstanding!!! We would have paid less at Vernick Fish for a stellar five star meal. Hence, the value was not good as well. I think we probably will not return given the plethora of wonderful dining establishments in Philadelphia.
Love everything here. Seafood is fresh and service is on point. Great meal
Wonderful food and service
Great for before a concert or a show
This was our second time visiting Estia. The food and service was outstanding. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive to our needs.
As usual it was very welcoming as we walked in the door and were shown to our table. The staff was very patient waiting for all nine people to arrive and they never lost their “cool”. The service was prompt. We had A performance to attend and they did all they could do to help us finish and get out on time. It works very well I am none of us were late for the performance
Or server Saki always makes us feel like we’re at home and so comfortable as he takes care of us before going to a show in town.
Lunch with my niece for her birthday. Food was superb. The wait staff were a little slow and it wasn't clear why we had to wait so long to order or get our drinks since it seemed to be pretty quiet at our 1 pm reservation time. No matter though because the food and ambiance here is the best.
Theater menu is a nice value and all dishes were very tasty. Loud even though we were seated an a corner.
Well trained staff were very helpful.
A very good discover!!!! I heard always very good reviews but I was very much impressed by their seafood window and by the simplicity of the cooking (very important for a food snobby like I am). They should work more on the decoration a little bit old school but definitely is not a deal breaker.
