7:30 reservation, wasn’t seated till a little after 8 pm. Every time I asked for status it was always “ a few minutes longer”. The waitress was not attentive , probably came by the table once to check on us and we had to flag her down to order a second round of drinks. It could be due to restaurant week for the huge influx of people and lack of attention from the wait staff.
Probably won’t be coming back anytime soon.
Great! Half hour wait even with a reservation. Great food and service
Everything was cold and salty, this used to be my favorite restaurant but it has changed, I won’t be back.
Grilled octopus wasn’t up to the regular standard, lacking vinaigrette.
Table was in an awkward location and prevented attentive service.
What a fabulous meal with wonderful, Efficient, lovely service!!! First visit will definitely b back soon!!
Thank u 4 a truly delicious experience!!
Fantastic, as always. Restaurant week is a bonus. XXX
Wonderful meal. Great food, service and experience!
Wonderful ambience and the food is consistent terrific. Their restaurant week menu does not skimp on choices. My 3 lamb chops were bigger than I expected and the seasoning oh so good! Service with a smile too.
The food, ambience and service were all extraordinary! (Only suggestion would be to add some kind of garnish or vegetable to the entrees...they both looked - and felt - and little empty!)
We went to Estia in the late afternoon after seeing a musical at the Academy of Music. It was my partner’s birthday and she received several birthday wishes from the staff along with an offer for a free cappuccino. This week is restaurant week and we took advantage if the special menu. From appetizers to desserts all was tasty and cooked to perfection. We would definitely visit again.
My wife and I went to a late lunch after seeing a matinee at the Academy. It was Restaurant Week and we had a terrific 3 course meal for only $20. The fed was terrific and our waiter,Joe, was terrific. We highly recommend this restaurant!
This visit was restaurant week lunch. Spouse had gyro which was just average. I had shrimp & pasta. Pasta was lukewarm at best & same for shrimp. Place was not crowded, so no excuse for poor meal. Plenty of other places to patronize.
Me and a dear friend (our college age daughters are friends 12 years) were missing our girls and Estia was the perfect solution. The food: exquisite; The service: Andres and wait Support were wonderful; Ambiance: accommodating and lovely! I recommend and will return!!
We were excited to try Estia during Restaurant Week. Our food choices were varied, and a nice representation of their full menu. The food and service were both wonderful. The light was a little dim where we were, so it was challenging to read. And the noise level was a bit high, but certainly did not make conversation difficult. We will come back!
Excellent Restaurant Week menu; the lamb was outstanding! Nicely priced wine
The experience was very nice. Mario was a spectacular waiter. He was very courteous and professional. The dining was exceptional great food and was an excellent experience.
Very good. Restaurant week choices were good. Service was great. Your bill adds up quickly even during restaurant week.
Had to go into town. Fortunately, it was restaurant week.
Had a delicious meal at Estia. A gorgeous restaurant on Broad street . Had a Salad, entree and dessert
And the dessert couldn’t have been more delicious!
Our server was excellent. Pleasant and attentive.
We had a great meal . Highly recommended .
Excellent Greek food, but at a price. If you're willing to pay the price it's a very good restaurant in all ways.
It is noisy; that's the one drawback.
Maybe it was because of the Restaurant Week event, it was pretty noisy and the service was also slow. We spent more time waiting than eating.
Wonderful restaurant week menu. Great selection!
Always great food.
Excellent theater menu dinners! We each chose from the $35 3 course theater menu and we were not disappointed! My wife enjoyed the calamari (nicely prepared without any breading), lamb chops and salted caramel baklava while I chose the spread pikilia, papoutsakia and sorbets. All were excellent! We also enjoyed a delicious wine (Black Stallion Winery Cab 2016) which I later ordered more of on-line for the cellar at home.
Fabulous meal, we did the theatre menu. We all enjoyed the romaine salad that was just right size and taste. I had the seasoned chicken, as did my two friends. My husband enjoyed the moussaka. And the dessert walnut cake which I just love.
The food was delicious. Very good wine. Servers were pleasant and helpful. 3 menus - very confusing. The portion sizes were different depending on which menu you ordered from but the server did not explain that.
Great food. Grilled octopus was fantastic
Had an early dinner with a friend after attending a Bway musical.
Great food & close proximity + it was Restaurant Wk
Best seafood in Philadelphia. Great service.
Amazing as always
Food and drinks were very good. Our table location was very near the front door and menus. Not ideal to be sure
Wonderful relaxing dinner before a show!
Awesome food and service, however, it got so loud we couldn’t hear each other speak.
Great pre-theater menu. Our server was fabulous in terms of juggling late-arriving party members and ensuring that we all made it to our shows on time.
Am a fan of Estia and always enjoy the experience. But, this time was off! Our waiter seemed preoccupied and distracted. Urged us to order quickly since we were going to theater. We said we were ready to order and he walked away! I ordered a second glass of wine, which he never brought.
So, I guess this was an off-night for him!
Great food and service as always!
Estia has become a reliable pre-theater dinner spot for us. Their "theater menu" has expanded, and even though we mostly ordered things we'd had before, they tasted extra-good. Everything hit the spot.
food and service excellent waiter did a could job of taking care of uss
Estia never disappoints. I’ve been to this location many times. You will never leave hungry, and the service is wonderful. P
The theater menu offered great variety and quality selections along with excellent service.
Estia is a gem with an enduring value. We had a dinner with 7 adults and a toddler. Great ambience, spacious and welcoming, quick service with personal notes from the head waiter, delicious food with classic dishes and Mediterranean inspired specials that you will only find here (the lamb with trahana was impressive). Not too loud, not too bright (our toddler was sleeping when we came in and had to wake him for his dinner) not too dark, perfect for conversations over a long table. We had a fantastic time and we will are definitely going back again soon.
