for sure. the food was amazing. GREAT service..........................mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Delicious, high quality food. The porchetta was excellent. I thought my pasta (chitarra) had too much cheese and that the salad had too much dressing, but then thought the pancakes were more on the bland side. Service was a bit slow, but the manager was so kind to acknowledge and apologize. Overall, the experience was excellent and I'd love to come back.
Smell of old building (musty, damp) was very noticeable this time. It was eventually masked by burning incense which became a little overpowering at some point. Otherwise, food and service (by Eric) were outstanding.
Fantastic food - my favorite off strip place to visit when I'm in town. Can be challenging with larger groups as it's small, and don't be in a hurry because everything is cooked to order. You can't go wrong with the polenta and the squid ink pasta with lobster (when they have it!).
staff is friendly, knowledgeable and food was unique .
Love this place!
Took my parents, visiting from Montana, so Esther’s for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Everything was great from start to finish: cocktails, appetizers, dinner, dessert, the service! We have had Aaron as our server every time we’ve been in. He, and Esther’s Kitchen, do not disappoint. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
Service of our waiter was fantastic! He recommended an excellent wine. All of our food was made fresh to order and tasted wonderful. Highly Recommend!
Love this place, for lunch they make the best sandwiches, it’s always hard to decide because I like them all equally. But then throw in there pizza and homemade pastas and that where it gets really tough to decide!! Going to his new place Ada’s today for lunch for the first time.
I couldn’t wait to take my family here when they came into town. Great service. Food is always excellent.
I love the concept: Talented chef with solid cooking pedigree breaks away from high end Strip Hotel restaurant and strikes out on his own. The atmosphere was full of energy. Service was casual but knowledgeable and efficient. Loved the Art District idea. We enjoyed ourselves, although I found the cuisine just a tad too inventive/creative. Some of the dishes worked, but certainly not all. Still, we'll be back on our next visit to Vegas.
The meal was delicious, the service was great, the 45 minute wait past our reservation was not acceptable. The appeased us with an appetizer and a glass of wine
The food was amazing, as expected.
Arrived early for reservation and was not able to be accompanied and was sat outside on a patio that either cold or too hot with heat lamp. The service was haphazard.
We feel we didn’t get to appreciate the full experience.
The food was, as always, perfect. The wait with a reservation was zero and the wait staff was around at all the right times.
One of my favorite Vegas restaurants and so happy it's in the neighborhood! Always creative - sometimes conversation just stops because everyone's taste buds are so happy! Prices are reasonable and food delicious. Highly recommend! Suggest making reservations. (Came for brunch, but any meal is a great one!)
Esther’s was nothing short of remarkable. I hadn’t been before but upon walking in, the hostess was welcoming and showed us to our table immediately. It was Sunday brunch hours and was worried about the wait. But, to our delight, we sat as soon as we arrived. Our server Zack was helpful in providing suggestions and boy did he nail it. We started off with a bottle of Sauv Blanc, which was reasonably priced. Sometimes places over charge for wine, but I was happy to see that was not the case here. We started with the bread and garlic butter as well as burrata. The freshly made bread was a nice start to a balanced meal. We then had the Caesars salad which was perfectly dressed. Sometimes dressing can be a bit salty, but this was done nicely. Finally, we had the chitarra. Once again another hit. The pasta was delicious and cooked perfectly along with the Parmesan they had a nice gritty and nutty flavor that went well with the pasta. Simple yet divine. The place is small but it makes for a cozy visit. We will definitely be back!
Noise level were almost jet engine levels. When you order pasta dishes you do not expect 45 minutes for delivery. Unfortunately both pasta dishes were too salty.
Our first experience at Esther's Kitchen I would call, not so good. My wife and I are never excited to sit almost elbow to elbow to other guest, especially when one of us is facing a wall. We requested another table but was told that is all that is available for couples. We started to leave and the hostess told us we could sit on the patio so we tried that. It was a small unattractive outdoor room at the back of the building. That was our first turnoff.
Then we ordered what sounded good, but turned out to be not so good. It was a black pasta dish with fennel, lobster, and truffle. Sounds great, but the pasta was chewy, and the taste of truffle was not existent. Also the lobster was over cooked. Bright spot was our waiter did a good job. I would not recommend and would not go back.
Been here a few times and I am still blown away at the selection and the quality of the food offered. This is a very unique place to enjoy "date night" with your loved one. The service is impeccable as usual. Loved going and you bet I will be going back again!!!
great place but please turn down music for such a small place its had to have a conversation....
Every time in Esther's Kitchen is a home run in my experience. Food is superb. Service is on point. Always great to be in a high energy place where even folks at adjacent tables engage and chat. Such a warm, homey environment with stupendous food.
Placed the food order, but never received the food. Had to get it to go! Was there for a business meeting.
Everything was fantastic. Although I think I was sitting under a speaker and the music was so loud I couldn’t hear my server half the time.
This was our first time here, the food was wonderful. The service was so great, the waitress was very attentive. We will definitely be back
Food was great and atmosphere was fun and relaxed. Staff was very friendly. We sat at the bar and had great meal. Wood highly recommend.
Outstanding food and wonderful service by Paul. He curates the reserve list and you wont be disappointed. Have ordered from it both times I've been there and it always makes for a wonderful time.
This was my first time for lunch at esters, I’ve had many dinners and brunch here. As much as I love my previous meals, lunch was the best! They have a fantastic menu with a great deal of variety and reasonably priced. The service was exceptional. I look forward to more lunches here
Food was great, ambiance was great, service was good (although I needed to holler a couple times for the server), always a great dining experience.
Food was very good. Only issue was too much dressing on the salad. It shouldn't bathe in it. And too much salt.
Waiter was good though a bit too seldom seen.
We were on time for our 9:00 pm reservation for 3 and waiting till at least 9:30 to finally be seated. Hostess seemed to be put-out by our questions about table readiness.
Overall, it was a good experience and I'd recommend. Vegas just needs more like it.
We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. The bar is small and there is really no place to stand or sit to wait. There is a new wine bar across the street that saved us the pain of standing outside waiting to be seated.
We ordered the bread with burrata to start, which was pretty good. The nduja pizza was good, but the crust was very dry and it seemed overcooked. We also got the carbonara which was very bland and also overcooked. The tagliatelle also was kind of soggy and overcooked. They were out of the squid ink pasta, which several people in our group had planned to order.
Our waiter seemed a little preoccupied and rushed.
I’ve read such good reviews on this place, so maybe they were just having an off night. I would give it a second chance.
When we arrived early for our reservation we were told there should be a table ready soon. Our reservation was for 8pm, we were not sat until close to 8:15/8:20 pm and that was only because we took a table outside despite it being cold because we were starving. We got our drinks and were finally able to order an appetizer that took another 20 minutes and did not get our entrees for another 20 after that, meaning that we did not eat until almost 9pm for 8pm reservations. I shudder to think how awful it would have been had we waited for an indoor table. The food was amazing but the waiting to be sat and amount of time it took to even get food after that was atrocious. And we ordered four spaghettis. I don’t understand how that took 40 minutes. It was my birthday and we were looking forward to celebrating but by the time we finally got food my entire party was pretty frustrated. The fastest thing we received was the check. Despite the amazing food I’m honestly not sure that as a local I would recommend this to visitors from out of town.
Esther's Kitchen is one of our new favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. The food is excellent - some really delicious dishes that would please both traditional JoNeale was our server this past Saturday and she was very attentive without being overbearing. Try Esther's and you'll understand all the buzz & awards it has received. There are "hot" restaurants that may not receive the acclaim they receive, but this isn't one of those. Esther's kitchen has earned and deserves its growing fan base. Five Star Bravo.
Stopped by for brunch. Delicious options including vegan. Will be back!
Awesome food and atmosphere
We eat here once or twice a week because everything about it is amazing!! Food, staff, location.. .
Our server was exceptional. He went over the entire menu with us when we asked and gave us some great recommendations. We went for lunch. Their pasta was perfectly made (al dente). It was our first time coming here and won’t be our last!
This is my favorite place in town for lunch and dinner, for lunch they have the best sandwiches in town. I tell everybody that will listen about this hidden gem!! I’m in the business and I tell all my people about this place.
Great food, high energy. Very loud in there
