Absolutely fantastic pastas, easily the best carbonara I've ever had. And the cocktails are great, especially since I'm a sucker for yuzu.
James Trees' place is legit. We're from the Bay Area and Flour + Water is my standard. Esther's Kitchen rises above.
If you are trying to get off of The Strip, come to Esther’s. You will not be disappointed! Food was excellent and the bread- ah, the bread, it is to die for. Ambience was upscale and beer and wine selection was above par.
Heard of this restaurant recently, made reservation and it didn’t disappoint. Food was fabulous. A little hard to find though.
Great service with detail menu explanations and suggestions
Food was great! We told our server we wanted to be leisurely and bring courses out slowly but everything we ordered came almost all together and space on the table was very tight! We finished our wine at the bar and the bartender was great even though he knew we were just finishing up at the bar! It was great overall!
The pasta was incredible, and the prices are wonderful for a place like this.
This was our 3rd visit and we've yet to be disappointed. We send all of our out of town guests here and have never heard a negative comment. Great experience.
Without a doubt hands down one of the best finds in Vegas!!!
I discovered Esther's last year and it has become my favorite place! I went for brunch with my friends and our waiter (I can't remember his name, possibly Alex), was super friendly and nice. He also sang happy birthday to me after we finished eating. I also love their pasta happy hour!
Best place in vegas
Food is perfect, my choice is the Carbonara
save room for dessert
Our third time there and our opinion of Ester's Kitchen just keeps getting better. You get a world class meal with impeccable and super friendly service. My only complaint is that many others have discovered Esther's as well and it can be hard to get a reservation. Secret discount - if you are going to see a play at neighboring Majestic Theater (which you must) you get a 25% discount on your whole meal, drinks incuded!! Thanks Esther's for taking a chance on the Art's District and for such a great place. We'll see you again.
The food here was amazing! Our server, Eric, did a fabulous job telling us about our menu options and had a very positive attitude. Overall our experience was very enjoyable.
Would like to go back to have one of their main entree's or pasta dishes. We went after a Smith Center performance for shared items only.
Absolutely incredible menu, exceptional service and amazing place. You will NOT regret dining here, they absolutely knock it out of the park EVERY time!!!
Still my favorite place in town. Been her 60 years. This place has great food, great service, great wine!
Not our first time here. As always, food and service was excellent. This is a popular place so advance reservations are helpful.
This is an amazing place. So nice to get off the strip and into a different vibe. The food was delicious. We ordered multiple appetizers and split two entree between 4 of us. The pasta was fresh and inventive. I recommend the cauliflower appetizer and, if available, their duck pasta dish. Their butterscotch dessert was to die for....
The food at Esther's is fantastic. We loved every dish we have ever ordered. We have been there every time we visit Las Vegas, but unfortunately, I don't know if we will return as the noise level is deafening.
Like that it is hometown owned and operated. The cocktails were fabulous. Love to see new businesses making it downtown.
Great dinner!!! Super nice experience!!!!
Amazing food and great service.
My sister and I tumbled in one blustery weekday evening and sat at the bar. We were treated like royalty and had such a wonderful time laughing with staff, despite the kitchen having run out of a few desired items. Thank you for a lovely experience.
All the best,
I would go again and would recommend it. I did like the food the presentation and the service. Too noisy for a great conversation. In fact, we discussed it at the table. It seems that when a restaurant has that noise level, that it accelerates because people talk louder in order to be heard at their table.
It is unfortunate that popular restaurants these days all have this issue it seems
Great night! Thank you!
Home made pasta dishes such as carbonara, lobster was fine but not outstanding.
They could have done better if the owner is there on Saturday night.
Do I want to go back again? Probably yes.
We had friends in from out of town and have heard nothing but great reviews about Esther's Kitchen - so we made a reservation a week out! The vibe is great - there is a good mix of people of all ages, bustling open kitchen, great service and most of all fantastic food! Visually spectacular and equally as tasty! Cocktails were fantastic as well!
The sour dough bread and burrata is a must - amazing night!
Really, Really Good. From apps to pastas to main courses. We'll all be back again.
This was our third visit here. The people are really nice and professional. The food is spectacularly good, incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. The bread is some of the best I’ve had and it’s made right there.
Service was good and all dishes were excellent. Only thing was the malfada nero pasta was overpowered by the lemon taste which does not allow the others components like truffle and lobster to shine
Otherwise great restaurant
Always awesome! One of the best eateries in Vegas. Make reservations.
It was a nice birthday lunch for my co-worker. She loves Esther's Kitchen. I had difficulty deciphering the menu, lots of Italian words and I had to google everything.
It is a treat to find a “real” restaurant in Las Vegas , one that has a point of view, a reasonable size, a chef that obviously cares, and not a whiff of playing to a mass crowd. Food was delicious -my only nit-pick was perhaps an occasional tendency to err on the side of being overly rich. Portions were more than ample. Wine list is excellent with everything available by the glass as well as by the bottle. I highly recommend ending with the polenta cake!
This Arts District gem is of the best new spots on the "off strip" dining scene.
A must visit.
We loved the food here! It's a very small space, and there is no waiting area. We were annoyed to wait until 7pm to be seated for our 6;30 reservation. Perhaps their reserved blocks of time need to be longer to avoid overcrowding? According to the hostess, several people were "closed out" but didn't leave. When the food came, all was forgiven. Caesar salad, beet salad, beef cheeks all delicious. We'll be back, hopefully on a less busy night!
Everything was amazing, the food full of flavor. The service was great. It's my new favorite place to go!
The food and service were really great. Highly recommend the charcuterie board but it’s enough for 4-5 people. Beet salad was special and the porchetta was amazing. Very nice wine list with nothing over $40.
Service was impeccable and the food was amazing! We had 2 toddlers with us this evening and they are very accommodating. Thank you!
Esther’s is a solid go to place and I like to bring out of town guests that are over the Strip restaurants. Great execution of ingredients and a creative cocktail menu.
