Estelle Wine Bar and Bistro
Ariel was fantastic! We loved the event and her attentiveness was wonderful! I’ll definitely be back for another event and dinner!
Our waitress Kayla was very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the High tea and plan on attending again. I also can’t wait to try out dinner for a date night soon.
The food was mediocre for taste and value. The service was very slow. We observed other patrons have to complain about the service and repeated ask for setups/silverware. We have dined at Estelle before and had the same experience. We do not recommend Estelle, especially if trying to make a show at Thalia Mara, unless you go at least 2 hours before show start. Sadly, this is the only place close to eat before a show. Not again though.
Great ambience, perfect for pre-show dinner. Great service and food. Beautiful restaurant and hotel!
Arrived three minutes before the reservation and were told to have a seat since we were early...? The maitre’d later apologized, but it was an odd start. An event nearby at Thalia Mara prompted the meal (four of us) and it was crowded. Staff were very friendly and shared responsibilities. Food was brought quickly and tasted great; would definitely go back.
All good. Music was a little loud for lunch.
Me, my sister and my mother attended the afternoon tea held Feb 16th and absolutely LOVED it. Our waitress mentioned that you all might start doing the teas monthly (or more frequently) and I truly hope you do! You would have a lot of business from my friends and I since the only decent tea room at 3 hours away in Convington, LA (and we frequent that place quite often despite the long distance)
What an amazing Champagne Afternoon Tea!!! Jackson, MS is lucky to have this event. The food was amazing, and the presentation was very elegant. I will be back.
Estelle's is one of the most loveliest places in all of Jackson. The staff is incredible and 2nd to none in regards to service. They are attentive without being overbearing. The prices are a little on the steep side but that's normal for hotel restaurants and for the service that you get, I'm ok with that. Also, this is the first time they offered afternoon tea. It was a lovely set-up. The spin of the set up was a little different from Afternoon Tea. I attend them quite a bit all over the country and I would prefer the traditional 3 tiered stand for serving the food items. The way it was done at Estelle's made the table to cluttered and it made it hard for everyone to reach everything. That's my only "concern". Otherwise, I can't wait until the next Afternoon Tea.
The hotel restaurant of a Westin hotel - although not advertised as such.
Nice ambiance - upscale wine bar and bistro.
But food was not so good.
Pretentious menu prepares poorly and very over seasoned.
Wine list was same.
By the glass options not so plentiful - and mediocre quality.
Large bottle selection - but very over priced.
Afterwards Uber driver told me that many visitors disliked their experience.
I won’t go back.
Would have given 5 stars had the guy at the hostess stand not been rude. Other than that it was fantastic!
My wife and I had date night here last week. The restaurant is downstairs at a hotel. It is a nice place to have dinner and talk. the food was good. the service was excellent. We had an excellent meat and cheese plate appetizer. the blondie with ice cream for dessert was my favorite. We will go back.
We had a wonderful night at Estelle’s Wine Bar. The service was great, the drinks were exquisite, and the food was wonderful!
Great place to dine for a special occasion. Willing do it again.
Upscale environment w good service and food. We sat in the bar area, before our meal and enjoyed the saxophone player. We did have to ask for bread w our meal, but were given 2 types. The sweet potato muffin was good, but the focaccia bread was very dry. We liked enough to return this coming weekend.
A friend and I came on Christmas, and it was great! I wish i had gotten the bartenders name but she was fabulous! Very attentive, but not overbearing. I’ll be back!
One of the best dishes in Jackson is their Redfish. Paired with avocado and lobster, it was great. The red beans and rice is also great.
What a delightful evening we experienced at Estelle Wine Bar & Bistro! The food was fantastic, the ambiance lovely and our waitress was completely delightful. The fact that my partner and I were able to carry on a delightful conversation made the experience even more pleasurable as the atmosphere is relaxing and sophisticated. The Westin is totally hip and such a fabulous addition to our downtown area. We are thrilled to have such a beautifully hip new restaurant and hotel in Mississippi. What a gem! We will most certainly be back soon!
Redfish and lobster was very good, as was the grit cake and mushrooms was outstanding.
High tables were not very comfortable.
Great food, ambiance, and service, but very pricey. Four adults and our bill was almost $300. Maybe good for a special occasion.
Best restaurant in town! If you’re worried about downtown, it’s probably the safest area in Jackson.
No effort by Estelle’s for breakfast with Santa. Very expensive and kids very disappointed
Went for the Thanksgiving brunch. Everything was delicious & delightful! Will definitely go back.
Thanksgiving was made very special by our dining experience at Estelle’s. Everything was great!
Love the place and the waitresses. SO nice! Food was SO good!
Very nice restaurant with good service. However, the food was bland and the mimosas were overpriced.
Food is always delicious. I have not had a bad meal ever. Only thing that could use improvement would be that service is a bit slow, but servers are still nice and overall a good experience.
Estelle was amazing! Cristy was a really great attentive server. The food and drinks were good delicious!
Great as usual
Awesome ambiance. Good food. Would definitely recommend if ever in the Downtown Jackson area.
Food was pretty good, ambiance was nice...a little over priced so not sure we’ll go back.
Food is always delicious, but Geeze the service... 😑
I was very excited to try Estelle for the first time on the occasion of my birthday. There were 10 in our party and we came on Sunday for brunch. Where there were members of our party who enjoyed their entree, several of us were not very impressed, from soggy pancakes to a not impressive Dutch baby to steak that was underwhelming. The fried chicken in my biscuit was legit, but the buscuit was dry and not made in house. The biggest problem was the service. Our server was very polite, just didn’t see him too much. I don’t know if they were short staffed or what. Maybe we were just expecting too much from the great press the restaurant has gotten.
We went out with family and friends after church and had a great time. Table of six. The brunch was delicious.
Chynna’s service was exemplary and made the whole experience more enjoyable. Great use of fresh ingredients in our meals.
Great place to relax and unwind with a friend and business meeting.
One of my favorite restaurants in Jackson... and just happens to be in my favorite hotel in Jackson (Westin). The redfish entree is the BOMB! I order it every time. Colleagues say what they order is very good, as well. Great atmosphere. Excellent, friendly servers. Outstanding wine list and about any cocktail you can imagine. The bar area is very nice and fun, as well. Nice vibe, throughout.
Sunday night dinner was delicious in this new Jackson, Mississippi restaurant within the new Westin hotel. They have elevated hotel dining with an outstanding selection of wines. To our delight we enjoyed a Silver Oak Cabernet with a perfect rib eye steak and beautifully roasted Brussel sprouts. The meal ended with a scrumptious play on a Smore with pot de creme topped with marshmallow and a graham cracker. I have found a great new restaurant and hotel for my monthly visits to Mississippi.
A great place to dine before attending an event at Thalia Maria, if only for the proximity. Service was good, not great. Food was very good. The duck breast I had was excellent. The noise level was, for me, uncomfortably loud. Their live entertainment consisted of a trumpet player playing over recorded music. He was quite good, but it's hard to have casual conversation over trumpet music.
It’s hard to have better food when you live with a gourmet. Everything was average by comparison (maybe a little below average). The music duo was good though.
