   The food was balanced with acid and citrus and well seasoned while somehow also being rich and adding notes of bitterness. Every bite was complex and delicious. The vibe was super cool, somehow upscale for Bellingham and yet casual and unpretentious. Our server was was so helpful, which was necessary because everything on the menu looked delicious and we had a hard time choosing!

   I didn't like the steamed clam broth. Unusual combination of flavors. I would not order that again.

   Truly an exceptional dining experience. A rare “grown up” restaurant in Bellingham with exquisite food, great cocktails, perfect ambiance and fantastic service. It will be 5 stars when the new owner pays a bit more attention to the wine list. Highly recommend.

   Typically Estelle is very difficult to get into. However, we went on a Tuesday night, so they were not very busy. Thursday to Saturday is very busy. We had the Hamachi Crudo, Roasted Carrots, Beet Salad and Steak Frittes. All was outstanding, and the delivery and services was timely and excellent. Everything tasted great, but the Roasted Carrots and Steak Frites stood out as Fantastic. Cheers

   Nadine , our server was amazing, as was the food. Special anniversary treat and window table were above and beyond- made for a wonderful evening celebration we will remember.

   Under the new owner, Davis. He seems to be carrying on the tradition well and plans to change the menu often seasonally. Hanger steak frites cooked to perfection. As always, our server, Nadine…fabulous

    Estelle is lovely and cozy with some food and delicious cocktails. It is my go to place for a lovely intimate evening with friends and good food. The service is incredibly friendly. The food is interesting, inventive and delicious. And the entire space is incredibly welcoming and warm.
