People planning to get home early ..
Service is uneven. We had t ask for napkins and then we asked if we wanted paper or linen. We were easily the best dressed people in the place. I had a jacket and tie. I didn’t see any other patrons so dressed. I further asked for a chicken soup to go and that never happened. I decided to forgo it. Than the company has the audacity to automatically add 18% to the bill. What incentive is there to offer good service? Come on man! Give me a break.
Not your typical Cuban Food, this is fancy stuff! Loved it!
This place is amazing. Have been here for brunch on Sunday, they have a Cuban Sinatra singing and he is really lovely. At night time, they have live music and ambience is amazing. Food and service is excellent!
Food and service is VERY GOOD!
Last Saturday, February 22, the entertainment was excellent.
Please keep up the good work. Estefan kitchen is one of our favorite restaurant to visit.
I have visited this restaurant several times. This time the food was not as expected. Felt a bit rushed. Originally was going to be seated at last round table by the swinging kitchen door. Although I had made these reservations well over 2 months ago. I advised to the hostess that the table was unacceptable and explained we made these RSVP some time ago. She came back with a different table right in front of the post but it was better than by the kitchen. I was bringing some friends who had never been and we actually were having dinner prior to a show we had at Knight Center. Overall it was good but not as good as it has been in the past.
If I would have to describe the the overall experience of this restaurant tonight in one word, well let’s just say I couldn’t because on how exceptional the service was. From the greeters to wait staff, everyone was extremely friendly, professional and not to mention attentive. I can’t even begin to describe how amazing the food was, I was very impressed with the detail and how great it tasted. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family and will most definitely be returning as well.
Absolutely outstanding food. Appetizers were delicious and the paella is out of this world!
Great location among the fancy designer boutiques. We were there at 6pm on a Tuesday (per-theater) so we had the place to ourselves. Our server was very attentive. The red sangria was delicious. The chicken empanadas were light and the pastry was flaky and yummy! My date said her shrimp was the best she had tasted in a long time. Overall we really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. I would eat here again!
Very good food and service. The music inside the restaurant vs. outside clash, so if you are sitting outside it is odd as you are listening to two different kinds of music.
Fabulous food, superb service. A boy loud but live Latin music! Great evening!!
Mediocre at best and very very expensive. I think you are paying for the location and the name, clearly not the food or service. To me, this is nothing more than a dresses up La Carreta at three times the price. In my opinion, I would skip this place and head to Michael's Genuine. And if you really want some Cuban food, go to La Carreta or Havana Harry's.
It was a wonderful night the music sound amazingly good, nice ambient and the waitress Paola Excellent service, We loved the food too thanks you so much.
The food and ambience and service was phenomenal. The only unsatisfying part was that even with a reservation, they still have you waiting outside for more than 20 minutes. When asked how much longer, the hostess said that it’s by first come first serve. They told that is that many people had reservations for 9 so whoever comes first gets seated first which I found ridiculous because the point of reservation is to be seated immediately and not have to wait.
You need to improve the service, the food is good but the service not
Great experience and server Christian made it a delightful time
We came here for my birthday and from the greeting by the hostess it was exactly what we expected. Pleasant and welcoming. The food was delicious and we loved the music selection. The waiter that sang made my jaw drop. The celebration and presentation of my birthday flan was exceptional. I loved every second of our visit.
The décor is great. When we walked in, we liked the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. It was a Wednesday evening and we appreciated the quietness of the place. The hostess showed us to our table and we were greeted by a gentleman who explained that he was not our waiter but was just helping out. He went into great detail about the food items on the menu and his recommendations, which we followed. When our waitress came, she concurred with the previous gentleman and our food selections. The Mojito was delicious but my Sangria was not. The picadillo beef empanada was not impressive. While the pastry tasted fresh, the beef was just tasteless. There were no spices, no flavor that justified the price. Also, we were expecting a Cuban spiced dipping sauce, not BBQ. Our entrees were Surf and Turf as well as the Grilled Seafood but neither of these dishes stood out for us. Again, there were no Outstanding Cuban spices or flavors that excited us. The shrimp were limp and tasteless. It appears that the shrimp were placed on the grill and turned but not seasoned at all! The steak was cooked to perfection but the rest of the meal was not up to par. Asparagus was cold and not tasty. We didn't have a problem with the automatic 18% gratuity because we typically tip the waitstaff 30%. However, we did not add any extra tip to the bill. This was too much money for a tasteless dinner. We spent $200 and this was not a memorable meal. I hope someone from Estefan Kitchen will take the time to read our review and contact me because as a Restaurant Owner, this should not be the experience that you want your customers to have. Too much money spent for poor quality food.
We had a great time!! Service, food and especially the entertainment and music was awesome. Brunch on Sunday is a MUST!!
Went for brunch with friends and our waiter was excellent and so were the drinks. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for all the food. I was looking forward to the Croqueta Benedict’s and it came out lukewarm and overpriced for two croquetas, two thin slices of bread and eggs that weren’t cooked evenly.
They seemed disorganized as people came up to the hostess. There were quite a few people waiting and lots of movement and confusion with not many people being sat. We were brought to a table that had a dirty table cloth, signed check from the last party in one chair and a dirty napkin from the last party in another chair. The table was not reset, and they just set the menus on the table and let us sit right there. This is my first time here so not sure if they’re consistently bad or if this was a one off but for what is supposed to be an upscale restaurant, the service was not up to par. On a good note, the burrata and the Lechon flatbread were both exceptionally good. All the other food was very average.
The staff was very attentive and cheerful. Our waitress Paola was friendly, energetic and gave great recommendations.
Estefan’s Kitchen is a wonderful place to dine. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is awesome.
Gloria & Emilio were dinning in the restaurant whilst were there. That was a Fantastic experience !
The bands and singers were off the chain and the dancing was fabulous.
Great ambience with live music. Great service. Great food. Stay with the Cuban favorites and find a good bottle of wine to accommodate. The restaurant is best at dinner from 8:00PM and later. Good people watching and always something to experience.
Very loud, food so so, over priced
My husband and I have had many many outstanding meals in our travels, and Estefan is in the top 10.
Firstly, the greeting from the hostess was warm and happy. The restaurant is visually very pretty with seating inside, or at a beautiful bar which is both inside and outside of the restaurant,
Outside being the courtyard in the Design district Shops, which is lovely.
Our waiters, Jeisson and Dekel were awesome, very knowledgeable and fun to be around.
The food....we ordered the croquettes, bacon wrapped maduros and calamari for starters. Each one was delicious. We both ordered the house pork specialty dish (award winning lechon Assado) which was truly divine and deserving of many awards. The entire dish is so beautifully presented and the combination of this exquisite shredded pork, that is crispy on the outside, so moist and flavorful accompanied with incredibly delicious yucca mash...truly the entire entree is a triumph. We ended the meal with a Cuban flan and tres leche cake ....both absolutely delicious
Chef Christina is truly an incredible culinary talent and we are so grateful that we experienced her amazing food.
We are already looking forward to our next meal at Estefan Kitchen.
I highly recommend Estefan Kitchen! Everything was wonderful from service to food. The food was amazing, everything was very fresh and tasty! Service was excellent, we had several different servers helping us and each one was professional and friendly! We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful Miami afternoon. This is our third visit to Estefan Kitchen and it never disappoints. We have been for dinner and enjoy the lively entertainment. This is a place that everyone in the family will enjoy!
Fantastic location! Server recommended the best choices in food and drinks, delish!
It was my husbands birthday and our first time there, it was amazing! It was perfect. Our waitress was perfect, food perfect, music perfect! And what a blessing we got to take pics with Emilio and Gloria! Living in Miami our entire lives and finally got to meet them. Estefan Kitchen needs to be advertised more because people are missing out! Perfect spot! Oh and the mojitos, ayeeeeeee so so delish...
Very good food and service
Fantástico Restaurante y buen ambiente con música en directo
Servicio muy amable y buena comida
Overall amazing food and outstanding service and customer care
Awesome experience. Loved the atmosphere and the band .
This is a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance and entertainment. With that being said, the service was mediocre and the food was okay. The guava and cheese dessert was weird. I don’t think I will be back.
Loved the restaurant, so elegant and food was so good! Well worth it!
Lunch at Estefan’s Kitchen is a delight. It isn’t too crowded so you can easily converse with each other. Each of us selected something different from the luncheon menu. All were outstanding. The price is reasonable and the service, excellent. We’ll. E back.
El ambiente muy bueno. La música en vivo excelente. Es un lugar fabuloso para celebrar.
Love this place, the food, the service, the music. There is however something which puts me off every time I go (and probably the reason I don’t go more often). The air conditioning set up / distribution is horrible. There are points in the restaurant where you cannot stay without catching a cold or navigating through the meal freezing.
I encourage the patrons to have a serious look at this... sad to leave such delicious food with a poor aftertaste
