Contemporary American
Estate serves dinner nightly with a broad menu, placing the highest priority on utilizing products that are purchased directly from farmers and insist that there are no shortcuts in preparation.
Ours chef's experience in Europe and New York has a large influence on the cuisine, which is a merge between Japanese minimalism, poetic elegance, and American ingenuity and energy.
The result is a vibrant, dynamic, and innovative kitchen.

Everything was outstanding, but won’t soon go back on a Saturday night. Happy Estate has finally caught on as it deserves, but because of the crowd, it was very difficult to hear at a table of four. Will continue to patronize on other nights.

Great food and terrific service. Nice HH menu. They put aside a table in the lounge for us - unexpected and appreciated. We’ll definitely return.

We ordered three dishes to share. The black cod was our favorite and brussel sprouts was also good. The Pad thai not so much. Over all Estate is one our go to restaurants in the neighborhood, Good food and great service!!!

Previous visits have been great. This time the food was awful--it was a Dine LA menu: the roasted broccolini salad was coarsely chopped broccolini and little bits of not much else. It was like eating small tree trunks which really could have used some acid like lemon and salt. The salmon was rather flavorless, set on top of a dark green mess of soggy haricots mixed with a gluey pasta. I've had great meals there in the past and this was $200. worth of meh for four people without alcohol.

The dineLA menu here is excellent. Prepared by master chef Yoshiara-san,trained inJapan and Europe, the broccolini salad and yellowfin tuna salad appetizers were delightful. The seared prime ribeye medallion steak was cooked to perfection. Finally, our yuzu cheesecake desserts topped off a fabulous meal.

Love the decor and the atmosphere at Estate! We had really attentive service - the whole staff works together, which I love. We had the brussel sprouts, eggplant, tuna tacos and the wagyu meatballs and pad thai. The appetizers were all really flavorful with sophisticated flavors. The filet was done perfectly and my pasta with lobster in a light tarragon sauce was to die for! I highly recommend Estate for a fun night out!

Horrible service, waited 20 mins after being seated and asking 3 separate people to place a drink order. Then they got the order wrong, and gave us a green bean salad and said they meant to do that and it was on the house. I hate green beans.

The food was mediocre at best. The only good thing was the coconut sorbet.

I will not be going back again

This place has consistently innovative and delicious food. Only one minor issue in my latest visit: two of us ordered rare steaks, but they came out medium. The waiter took them back immediately, with no fuss, and presented two new, rare steaks, and comp'd us a desert for our trouble. Nicely handled.

Have to say - I'm pleasantly surprised. Having been in this industry for 20 years and working in the industry in LA for 11 of them, I'm often critical of most restaurants. For being a busy night (NYE), the service was very on point and dinner was delicious. Had driven by this restaurant multiple times, and never knew it was so innately beautiful. I will be back.

Really nice venue and good wine choices, especially if you are not a huge fan of Cali wine. The menu sounded amazing, especially Asian influence, but I felt a lot of the dishes veered to the sweet side. But it could be what I prefer.

Met another couple for dinner at Estate first time for all of us at this restaurant. The first drink “Bad Hombre” was excellent, everything that followed delicious. Especially the special lamb shank so amazing and beautifully presented.
Would definitely return. Nice spacing, not too loud we could actually have a conversation. Highly recommend

Amazing birthday dinner with the best of friends. Visited LA for my birthday (coming from NYC) and would not change a thing. Our waiter was great (even if he teased me incessantly), and we racked up quite a bill from a lengthy and delightful dinner with (too many) drinks. haha.
