About Estancia 460
Estancia 460 reflects the Italian and Spanish culinary influences in Argentina. Enjoy the extra thin crust pizzas, pastas, sizzling shrimp, paella and grass-fed beef while sipping on wines from a diverse list with offerings from South America, Spain, Portugal and Italy. Estancia translates as a ranch house and the restaurant emulates that with its white washed brick walls, high ceilings, wooden tables and chairs. The crowd feels like an extended family which many come to dine at the bar, or as large groups to enjoy the Parillada, a mixed grill of meats & for romantic dinners. Estancia has been feeding the locals and Tribeca celebs since 1995 and has developed relationships with beloved regulars as well as newcomers from outside the neighborhood. They choose us as their go to place for hearty unpretentious fare in a low key and intimate setting.

Estancia 460 Ratings and Reviews
Not a whole lot to get excited about here. The shrimp & pasta had 3-4 medium size shrimp in the entire dinner portion. The chimichurri sauce on the steak was blander than the dip provided for the bread. The wine was good, the service was fine (there were only a couple of other tables occupied). Decor is bland - nothing to look at. I was hoping for something unique, but it didn't materialize.
Katie and Jules were just wonderful. Attentive, professional, nice, friendly, all you expect if you want great service. Jules took plenty of time to recommend a good wine, and made sure to check back. Katie was just lovely, answered all our questions and made sure we were taken care of.
The food is not bad, but is nothing extraordinary. Steaks were good but needed seasoning. The empanadas were good, however, not excellent. A 5 star service and 3 star food.
I might give it another try, to be fair.
Estancia is such a great restaurant in what used to be a nowhere neighborhood but is now a super-hot neighborhood in Tribeca. It has been around a long time and the food and service is always so wonderful. Estancia is the epitome of a "neighborhood gem," but what makes it even more special is all of this at a reasonable price. People keep coming back I'm sure for the food and the cool vibe but I bet they also appreciate that they don't have to pay top dollar for the experience. This is what keeps me coming back.
from the moment we walked into the door and were greeted like dear friends until we parted as new friends, the evening was a special dining experience.
I couldn’t believe how sensitive the owner was to where to sit us, so sweet and thoughtful of her.
Our server indulged us all evening. She let me sample four wines until I made a decision.
The bartender mixed a fabulous martini. The grilled meat & chicken platter for two was abundantly divine. The Caesar salad perfect.
We will return. Salud!
As an argentinian I have to say this is NOT authentic argentinian food...but, as the menu states, Estancia 460 is about the spaniard and italian influences in the argentinian food...and that’s VERY argentinian.
Contradictory? Yes, exactly like Argentina.
Very nice spot, good service, and I have to say we’ve been very lucky with the Pandora station that were playing that night.
Estancia 460 is a great neighborhood place. The food is delicious as are the drinks. The service is attentive, but not overly so. The dining space isn't huge but it's cozy in a good way. The best part of all, so much of the menu is reasonably priced. It's not easy finding a cheaper meal in Tribeca, but Estancia 460 truly fits the bill.
Initially the appearance wasn't that great but had a very humble old fashion way about it which I liked. Very cozy, quiet which is good. Had a nice quiet time. The only real issue I had with it was the flies that were buzzing around. So they really have to do something about the pest. It's a big turn off. Disappointed that they don't take discover card and that's the card I use for fun. Wish they would change that. Overall the food was great, it was the best part of the experience, will definitely come back for the food. Hopefully their pest problem will be resolved by then. Cheers!
Estancia used to be a simple tasty meal with good service.
I had a business lunch with six people on Friday, The place was empty and you would have thought there was a crowd because the service was very slow. It took way to long to get our food.
Also, the food was bland for the most part. The fries are always good but my burger was dry and had no flavor. One of our group had a gluten free pizza. She actually had to salt the pizza!
Even the chocolate cake with raspberry sauce was dry.
A very disappointing experience. I used to rely on Estancia. Not any more.
I attended a party there a week ago and liked the food so much that I brought my family there a few nights later. The food is really good--everything is well prepared and delicious. The only downside for us was the acoustics and music as it was not easy to hear each other over the din. That said, I have been recommending it to friends and will definitely go back
Lived in Buenos Aires for +30 years and probably was one of those underwhelming experiences that would be easy to forget about. Empanadas were served between warm and cold from the outside in. Skirt stake served in a cold plate and the skirt stake should have been called strip(e) because it was a tiny stripe of meat. Best dish was the french fries (frozen...). Was a get together with my wife and friends and it was a shame. I made a reservation based on opentable reviews...
I first went here for a closed brunch for a friend's party 3'years ago. This has become my go to place when i'm meeting people in the City. Delicious food, attentive service and the best Bloody Mary's! You can enjoy yourself without being rushed. Go and enjoy!
Such a neighborhood gem!! The appetizers & entrees are consistently delicious. The bar is nice to grab a drink & a light bite too. The staff & kitchen are very flexible & will accommodate food requests/modifications. The pizzas remain my favorite indulgence although their seafood & chicken Milanese are a close second. Hope it never leaves the hood.
