I just love this spot! Food is delicious, and staff is friendly and fab.
It was a birthday lunch I added in the notes when making the reservation and they brought out a piece of cake with a candle. It was a nice touch! The waitress would occasionally stop by to make sure that everything was ok and it was busy; most places in the area, at times, don’t check in to make sure you need anything.
Always very good
a great place... food and drinks are spectacular... low key place, you wouldnt find it walking down the street, but once you are in, relax.... small wooden tables and chairs... almost farmhouse rustic.. original warehouse walls and pipes exposed.... BUT, the food selection is original and authentic... FYI Sangria carafe was great.. fresh fruit.. also, the assorted meat dish for two as an main meal was phenomenal !!! Highly recommend if you just want to have a great time out in a non showing atmosphere... completely relaxing
Very attentive service. Food came out quickly despite being busy. My pork chop was especially good and all 6 of us, ordering different items, thought each of theirs was excellent.
Fabulous food, empanadas are a must and wonderful service
Love going there- one of my regular places to eat!
Not a whole lot to get excited about here. The shrimp & pasta had 3-4 medium size shrimp in the entire dinner portion. The chimichurri sauce on the steak was blander than the dip provided for the bread. The wine was good, the service was fine (there were only a couple of other tables occupied). Decor is bland - nothing to look at. I was hoping for something unique, but it didn't materialize.
Katie and Jules were just wonderful. Attentive, professional, nice, friendly, all you expect if you want great service. Jules took plenty of time to recommend a good wine, and made sure to check back. Katie was just lovely, answered all our questions and made sure we were taken care of.
The food is not bad, but is nothing extraordinary. Steaks were good but needed seasoning. The empanadas were good, however, not excellent. A 5 star service and 3 star food.
I might give it another try, to be fair.
Just a great neighbourhood restaurant. Food is always great and the ambience perfect for a night out with my wife.
Estancia is such a great restaurant in what used to be a nowhere neighborhood but is now a super-hot neighborhood in Tribeca. It has been around a long time and the food and service is always so wonderful. Estancia is the epitome of a "neighborhood gem," but what makes it even more special is all of this at a reasonable price. People keep coming back I'm sure for the food and the cool vibe but I bet they also appreciate that they don't have to pay top dollar for the experience. This is what keeps me coming back.
Estancia is a great place for lunch, a peaceful atmosphere where you can have a conversation without the bustle of so many places in NY. Enjoyed it
from the moment we walked into the door and were greeted like dear friends until we parted as new friends, the evening was a special dining experience.
I couldn’t believe how sensitive the owner was to where to sit us, so sweet and thoughtful of her.
Our server indulged us all evening. She let me sample four wines until I made a decision.
The bartender mixed a fabulous martini. The grilled meat & chicken platter for two was abundantly divine. The Caesar salad perfect.
We will return. Salud!
We had my daughter's birthday party there this weekend. We had a great time and the food was fantastic! The manager Kate Leonard was fantastic. We would absolutely go back!
Was ok not amazing
Good neighborhood place with excellent service. Had brunch but will definitely go back for dinner.
As an argentinian I have to say this is NOT authentic argentinian food...but, as the menu states, Estancia 460 is about the spaniard and italian influences in the argentinian food...and that’s VERY argentinian.
Contradictory? Yes, exactly like Argentina.
Very nice spot, good service, and I have to say we’ve been very lucky with the Pandora station that were playing that night.
Great food, ambiance, friendly staff. Excellent wine list!
We made a reservation and when we arrived, they did not appear to be aware that we were coming or really ready for us. The staff was not there except for one person. They did a great job of accommodating us until they arrived.
Overall it was nice. Unfortunately, there were many children and infants whose parents were completely oblivious that there were other patrons dining.
Great Tribeca neighborhood gem. Food and service was very good. It's the type of restaurant we love: cozy, friendly, great food.
Great pizza. Nice place to people watch and have a casual lunch. Great decor and menu
Estancia 460 is a great neighborhood place. The food is delicious as are the drinks. The service is attentive, but not overly so. The dining space isn't huge but it's cozy in a good way. The best part of all, so much of the menu is reasonably priced. It's not easy finding a cheaper meal in Tribeca, but Estancia 460 truly fits the bill.
Adequate - very noisy - quality of food could be better!
Glad to see it's been around the neighborhood so so many years.
Estancia continues to be an affordable Tribeca neighborhood treasure with a cheerful mostly locals crowd and a simple, well prepared eclectic menu at reasonable prices. We had a great time and it didn't break the bank.
Initially the appearance wasn't that great but had a very humble old fashion way about it which I liked. Very cozy, quiet which is good. Had a nice quiet time. The only real issue I had with it was the flies that were buzzing around. So they really have to do something about the pest. It's a big turn off. Disappointed that they don't take discover card and that's the card I use for fun. Wish they would change that. Overall the food was great, it was the best part of the experience, will definitely come back for the food. Hopefully their pest problem will be resolved by then. Cheers!
Estancia used to be a simple tasty meal with good service.
I had a business lunch with six people on Friday, The place was empty and you would have thought there was a crowd because the service was very slow. It took way to long to get our food.
Also, the food was bland for the most part. The fries are always good but my burger was dry and had no flavor. One of our group had a gluten free pizza. She actually had to salt the pizza!
Even the chocolate cake with raspberry sauce was dry.
A very disappointing experience. I used to rely on Estancia. Not any more.
Tucked away find, serving late night, and offering Argentine classics and great cocktails. A trifecta for hungry, post- late meeting diners. Empanadas are worth the calories and cocktails tempting enough to try more than 1. Keeper on my dining Rolodex.
I attended a party there a week ago and liked the food so much that I brought my family there a few nights later. The food is really good--everything is well prepared and delicious. The only downside for us was the acoustics and music as it was not easy to hear each other over the din. That said, I have been recommending it to friends and will definitely go back
Had a birthday dinner for 13 people and all of us loved everything about Estancia 460. Food and service were great! Love that restaurant.
