Food was great and the service was outstanding. The servers were always right there with great grilled meat.
This was a great experience. The food was very flavorful and the portion sizes were great. The staff was so nice. I definitely recommend Estampa Gaucha over Chima and Brazz in Charlotte. And I have been a very loyal diner at Brazz for many many years. The food and experience at Estampa is by far the best rodizio in Charlotte.
We loved the experience . There is a beautiful buffet of salad and fruits. Everything was fresh and tasty. There were so many choices that there is surely something for everyone.
Once you have your full of delicious salad. There is a parade of different types of grilled meats. They prepare chicken, lamb, and beef. All the cuts were juicy and minimally seasoned. They have sides also that compliment the meat selection.
The deserts are fine so save a little space and splurge and have a few extra calories.
If you are a fan of Brazilian steakhouses, Estampa Gaucha is for you. We visited the restaurant last night . We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our waitress explained their process and we went to the salad bar. Although they don't offer soup like some other Brazilian steakhouses, the salad bar was exceptional. The variety was very good , everything was neat and appealing. It was probably the best salad bar we have seen and we have visited many Brazilian steakhouses throughout the country. Now for the meats! Each offering came out quickly. The meats were seasoned well, but not overly salty like some other restaurants We did not have to ask for any particular cut, as they all were offered. They are cooked to your preference (ours was medium rare) and every one as excellent. The bottom sirloin (flank steak), picanha, filet mignon, and house ribeye were all phenomenal. The lamb chops were some of the best I have ever had anywhere. The service was impeccable. What more can I say? We were so full, we didn't order any dessert. The entire experience was top notch and I would highly recommend this restaurant. Although not cheap, the pricing was better than others like Texas de Brazil, Fogo de Chao, and Chima. Just be aware that they do not provide drink refills and they can definitely add to the bottom line. Other than that, it was a marvelous meal.
Overall it was a good experience, not great. Our waitress was not very attentive. The meats offered seemed very repetitive. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were out of a box, lacking flavor. The cheese bread was hard and cold. Didn’t try the fried bananas or plantains. Husband enjoyed the lamb chops. Don’t think I would go out of my way to dine here again.
Lamb chops were great! Was a little uncertain about buffet style due to COVID but there were boxes of plastic gloves for the patrons to use at the salad bar. Waitor was very attentive and we did not feel rushed.
Bar area was closed due to labor shortage.
Amazing food. Great waiter. Love the cheese bread. Will go back. Made my birthday special.
I should have paid more attention to the previously posted One Star reviews. Their comments were not exaggerated. The salad bar was smaller with very limited options compared to similar establishments. The lamb was tasty but it was the only meat that was not totally overcooked. I was very dissatisfied. Went to Brasilia Churrasco in Asheville two nights later. Absolute validation of my expectations and made think 2 stars was generous.
Took my hubby here for his birthday and was not disappointed. Excellent service. Excellent food. My only criticism would be to offer a bit more variety on the salad bar. The addition of some seafood options would be a great compliment. Otherwise, everything was great. Nice atmosphere. The Happy Birthday written on the dessert plate was a nice touch!
For someone who's been to Rodizio style restaurants many times before, this one is an utter disappointment. Buffet is a joke, more of a low level salad bar. The meat selection is very limited: chicken, beef and pork, and the quality is questionable. The pork sausage was dry, so was the chicken breast, and most cuts of beef were overcooked. Shrimp wasn't shelled and also overcooked. They brought us bottled water which we didn't ask for, and charged us for it. The price is outrageous for this type and quality of food. We paid about $350 for 5 people. They charge $50 per person for the less than mediocre food, the rest was for three bottles of beer, one glass of wine, one glass of coke and two small bottles of bottled water. The beer selection is very limited, the wine list is long, but they only serve 5 or 6 wines by the glass. Service is very rushed, we were out in less than an hour, seemed like a fast food place. Out of hundreds of Charlotte's restaurants this one should definitely be avoided.
Great food, wonderful service, excellent price . Will recommend to my friends and family.
Excellent Everything! Truly a first class dining experience
Celebrated my 60th birthday. I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get the table by the window that I
requested when making the reservations instead we were in the middle of the restaurant at a round table which was a little crowded for the 6 of us. The food was good and the service was good. They were out of the liquor for the key lime pie martini so that was also disappointing.
This was by far the best Brazilian Steak House I have ever been to. Not only was there a large variety of foods, the flavors were outstanding! The staff was attentive and friendly and the beverage menu was terrific also.
First time experience. Loved every minute of the service. Our wait staff checked on us made sure we had everything we need checking our glasses, bringing us clean plates, and filling out water glasses. It was wonderful. I would recommend. Take your time and enjoy.
I Absolutely Love this Place!!! The service is Amazing my server Ezekiel was so friendly and accommodating and funny too 😁 This is a Great environment for an intimate dinner or a Special occasion. You get more than enough for your money. Well worth it!!!! We will be returning in a few months and wouldn’t think of dining anywhere else. Special thanks to the entire staff that served us and made us feel welcomed. 💕🤗
Love Brazilian steakhouse. I usually go to chimas. I felt the meat at this place was better seasoned. The staff was really friendly and the cuts of meat were big! Had a really good time.
Greeted by a friendly staff which set the tone, and seated early. Salad bar had a large variety of fresh dishes (gloves were provided to prevent spread of germs). Once we turned our cards to green, the meat kept on coming. Friendly waiters came with a variety of protein on a spit and served us however much we wanted. If there was a particular thing we wanted more of (lamb chops, garlic steak were our favorites), they made sure that we had it within a few minutes. We ate for 45 minutes straight, then threw in the towel and turned our cards to red (stop). The waitress gave us a complimentary key lime pie for our occasion, which was also amazing... and miraculously, we were able to find room to eat all of that as well. Bring your appetite, this place is amazing!
Birthday dinner was excellent
By far the best Brazilian Steakhouse. Food is amazing and you can’t beat the five-star treatment. I will come back to visit!
Food was not so great. I compare to Chimas and I would not return. My favorite is cheese balls and they taste like paper. Meat could have been seasoned more.
Went there for Mother’s Day dinner. Very good food and customer service.
Food was good and the service was excellent. It’s very pricey. The meals, two beers, three desserts, one cup of espresso and the tip came to just under $300 for three people. We received a free meal coupon, so we may go back, but only due to the discount.
Not as good as other Brazilian steakhouses I've been. Not as many meat choices, most meat too salty, and salad area not maintained of fresh and neat food.
Whew well let me start with the good. Very clean resturant, staff was nice and welcoming.
With that said I am a frequent visitor of CHIMA. I loveeeee them! This restaurant is the extremely low budget disgusting version!!! It's like comparing The Ritz Carlton to Motel 6! The meat taste old and sickly, I literally had to spit out food! I've never done this in my entire life! My son and husband were both sick by the time we arrived home.
Please go elsewhere!!
Authentic and fantastically prepared. I’ve been to many of these places and this was by far the best execution I’ve had. Be sure to ask for the authentic Papaya Creme with Cassis for dessert. Amazing!!
If you go to a Brazilian steakhouse and it’s full of Brazilians, you know you hit the jackpot!
Service was great, the cuts were delicious and came at good intervals, so you never felt overwhelmed.
The pão de queijo was to die for. We will certainly be coming back, whenever we’re in Atlanta.
I took my daughter and 8 others here for the $39.99 brunch with unlimited $10 mimosas on Sunday. I was told that it was the same as Chimas. Its the same in the sense of how the food is prepared only! They have only 1 side which is mashed potatoes from a box. I was very disappointed.
Aggressive servers overpriced and the food was poor quality.
Been to many Brazilian steakhouses and rodizios. Estampa Gaucha is way up there. Great staff, delicious meats, and awesome salad bar. We will be back!
Thank you so much to the staff at Estampa Gaucha for making our and our friends anniversary a flavorful experience.
Great meal. Service was exceptional when we first sat down but at the end of the meal we had to flag down help to get our check.
Food took a very long time to come out and meat was dry and our requests were not granted!!
Visited on Saturday evening @7:15pm:
Having been to the other Brazilian Steak house in Uptown Charlotte, I had great expectations for this place. Unfortunately they fell a little short. The salad bar seemed picked over, and wasn't replenished during our visit. Most of the meats that came out were either well done or only 1 piece left on the kabob. When I asked for Medium to Med rare filet mignon, the server did try to bring some out- I appreciated that. There was no chicken offered, and the beef and pork selections were limited. My date had never been to a place like this, so her experience was good...mine however was just ok.
I gave 4 stars because you could tell that this place is capable of better, but maybe I came on an off night. I won't be back though.
Food was great!! Salad bar options were fresh. All meat served was delicious, ribs were great, different cuts of steak were yummy, really liked the lemon pepper chicken. Overall perfection but I would add some fun uplifting music to lighten up the feel of the restaurant.
It was our first time there and it was a wonderful experience. The greeting at the door, the service, the atmosphere, and the food were all great. Great place to take your date.
We had a exceptional experience! The whole staff was very attentive and accommodating! Not just our server but there were so many people who kept coming by to check in on us and give us what we needed. We will be back for sure!
