Great food and drink. The menu represents Montana, Bozeman specifically, very well. Nothing on the menu, including the cocktails, are ordinary. If you are in town and want a very delicious upscale meal, 1864 is the place.

We were very excited to try 1864 for date night and it did not disappoint! Being Gluten free I usually have few options when we dine out, but they offered great options. The Mary’s chicken was phenomenal. I imagine we will frequent this place often.

Fun spot. Great food and drinks. Interesting history. Our server was friendly and had good recommendations. They have gluten free options noted on their menu. One member of our party has celiac and needs to have her meal totally gluten free with no risk of cross-contamination. We made this clear to our server who assured us the restaurant takes food allergies very seriously and she would let the chef know. The chef herself came out and confirmed the meal would be safe to eat - and it was. This kind of care is huge for someone with food allergies. We look forward to going back next time we’re in Bozeman.

Delicious food from the fennel/pear salad to the fusilli dish. Great wines and some unique cocktails. The atmosphere was inviting, with low lighting, and quality area rugs. The server was delightful, too, making the whole experience wonderful.

Our server was very attentive, and we ordered the pork shop special which was exceptional and Luke, the bartender was making really unique cocktails. The smoked rosemary martini was unlike anything I’ve had before, and I am already looking forward to ordering it again. . The atmosphere was cozy and swanky and we will be back on regular!

The drinks were NOT. GOOD. If you enjoy a nice cocktail this is not the place to get it. It also took forever! Food was okay, definitely not worth the price (fish was.... fishy). Our server was a rude jerk. That was the worst part. Rude!

We loved the ambience, nice bar, antique lighting, and quiet. Great food. We especially liked the zucchini carpaccio and fusilli with oso bucco. Server Alex was terrific, and Chef Allison came out to say hello, always a nice experience.

Very impressed with 1864 Noir Bar & Restaurant! The food was amazing! The homemade bread and meatballs are a must have. The craft cocktails were impressive as well. It is on our top 5 list in Bozeman now, which is a feat with all of the great culinary options available. Highly recommend!

Trout was good, skirt steak (special) was tasty but chewy. Service was good until the place got too busy. We were going to order dessert but after 40 minutes of waiting to see the waitress after she dropped the dessert menu, we decided to leave. We had to ask a passer-by server to get our check. I think she just had too many tables on a Friday night. She was a sweet person and was working hard. I’d give it another try…

Delicious - the corn ravioli was simply divine. The steak was great. Loved the happy hour prices. Our poor waitress was the only server and the kitchen was overwhelmed so quite slow.

Make sure you try this new restaurant downtown Bozeman! Our party had the meatball and mussel appetizers! Both really good! I had the mushroom pasta and it was delicious! Everyone loved their food and the atmosphere is very comfortable and quiet!

Very cool restaurant with great ambiance. It reflects history meets modernization. Speakeasy yet modern vibe. Amazing service from start to finish. Sat at the impressive bar and received great service and high quality cocktails. Moved to the dinner table and had the best meal of our 10 days in Montana. If we lived closer we would be frequent customers. We had an appetizer of steak tartare and zucchini carpaccio. Loved both. Great creativity and flavors. I ordered NY strip and my husband ordered Ribeye. Best steak we have had in a restaurant. It was great to know that we were eating local farm raised beef. This restaurant should be in the top 10 of Bozeman !

I was pleasantly surprised at how fantastic the food was! The zucchini carpaccio, which was recommended by our server was so so good! The service was impeccable and the drinks were great as well. The prices were high, but the quality and attention to detail were on point. We'll be back for sure.

I've lived in this area for over 25 years, and this was easily one of the best meals I have ever had in Bozeman. The depth of flavor and attention to detail in all the dishes were amazing. Additionally, the menu featured local ingredients at reasonable prices. Great vibe and service. Highly recommend the homemade pastas and vegetarian options. Will be back!

This was our first visit and we had a really lovely meal! All of our food was delicious and the ambiance was great. Loved the music that was playing and staff was attentive without being overbearing. Thank you - we will definitely be adding 1864 to the rotation!
