Celebrated with cousin on her wedding anniversary. Bill came out to about $600+ for 6 adults. Asked for medium on the steaks but all came out pretty bloody. They had pre-cut the steaks for us prior to serving so the chef should’ve been able to see how raw it was. Did not bother sending it back. Not sure if we’d go back again. Service was excellent but food was just mediocre.

Waitress did not inform us about the $50 corkage fee. We opened 3 bottles of wine valued at $35 each. If we had been told how much the corkage was we would not have opened them. The steak was good, but nothing special. The service was sub par for a restaurant at this price point. You would expect more attentive services and certainly someone telling you the price of corkage. For this price I would rather spend my money in Pasadena at other steakhouses.

The dinner was absolutely horrible. I brought my friends here for my birthday which I completely regret. I had a previous experience here which was great but today was just horrible.

The Food - the meat quality was good as always but it was not cooked properly. We asked for the meat to be medium and all $500 worth of meat that came out was cooked rare...

The Service - the servers were not attending to our table nearly as much as they should in comparison to a regular dine in restaurant. The fact that this is an expensive steakhouse, it makes it 10 times worse. I get more water refills and attentiveness at a local Norms or Denny’s

The Speed - The food took forever to come out! We were only 1 of 2 other tables when we arrived but our food arrived after a lot of tables that sat after us.

For an upscale restaurant like this, I was extremely disappointed and it made for a horrible birthday experience because they even completely forgot it was my birthday!

Never again!

Both my employee and myself got the salmon and the lobster bisque, and we both got sick. The taste and the service was great. I was traveling and had not eaten since early that day. My employee had not eaten at all that day, and we instantly got sick. Even though your people and the service they provided were outstanding, I would have to say no to a recommendation!

Our server Ryan is the best! Nice ambiance and good location. We had the roast for the table which is good for 4 people and the serving is just enough. The crispy brussel sprouts is amazing! They even gave us a little something (creme brulee w/ candle) for my birthday. Will definitely come back.

First time to order from the menu. On the previous visit, we utilized the dineLA menu. Enjoyed the brussels sprouts and the ahi tartare. Our steak of choice was the Tomahawk, and it was perfect for two people. We even had a few slices to take home. Our server was attentive and really pleasant to communicate with.

Better than Ruth Chris, but not our favorite. Then again, we were looking for a more intense dry aged flavor and their max was 35 days, the Kentucky steak I believe it was called. Arroyo Chophouse in Pasadena is better if you're looking for a place in the area.

Food was good. We went as a party of 5. Ordered different cuts of steak and prepared so was able to compare. For the value, it was good but doesn't reach premium level. I would want to return to try their other items such as seafood. The must try is the waygu beef fat fries.

EST Prime Steakhouse in the Sheraton San Gabriel is an awesome steak house with great service and prime cuts of meat. It is exactly what you would expect a high end steakhouse to be with perfect seasoning, inventive sides and good appetizers. They have a solid wine list and plenty of seating both inside and outside. Definitely worth a visit if you are staying in the hotel.

Steaks were great, as well as the apps. This is our 2nd time here and here is my feedback:

1. Our server could have been warmer. And her suggestions of a shared steak should have come at the beginning of the meal, instead of when we were being served.
2. Seafood tower - seafood was not fresh. Cocktail shrimp was frozen and hard.
3. Bread seems different - not the gooey, chewy consistency it used to me, but rather tasted slightly stale.
4. Side portions are ridiculously tiny.
5. Tomahawk steaks ARE THE BEST. Better than Ive had at Flemings, Ruth Chris, and even my favorite at Mastros.

Graduation celebration for our son; dinner and service were fantastic. Ryan, the server, as well as the sommelier provided first class service. Food was delicious; we had steaks and seafood, all were cooked perfectly. The manager, also named Ryan came by to ensure that we had a memorable evening. Will definitely go there again next time we're in the LA area.

Wonderful dining place. The waitress is friendly and patiently answer all my wife's questions from foods to hair styles. We ordered seafood tower for two and Ameican Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye. The lobster and oyster are fresh and tasty. The Ribeye serve in huge portion. That size just fit our table for 2.

The taste... is above average, but love their services. I will recommend this restaurantto my friends for their future dinning plan.

It's an traditional classic and contemporary design of steakhouse inside the Sheraton Hotel in San Gabriel Valley. The steak I ordered was so juicy flavor, the meat was cooked right on with good temperature n warm even though I don't have to put any sauce when the waitress offered different kinds of sauce for my medium New York. The salad, mash potatoes with dice pork belly were fantastically to match the steak. Dessert of chocolate balls after putting on Carmel sauce with gelato inside!! So yummy and presentable!! Everything was almost perfect, just the crackers for Caesar's salad was too hard to chew, and truffle Mac n Cheese wasn't having less truffle flavor. Other than that, everything so good !! It deserves to have four stars, if all those minor items mistakes is improved, it will grant a Five Stars!!

Ryan and his team are the best! They made our wedding dinner celebration memorable with their warm hospitality and generosity. My bride, my elderly folks, and our two daughters had such a lovely experience at EST. I hope my gift of the remainder of our red wine in the decanter was an acceptable gift for Melchor and the rest of the staff--they really deserve more for the awesome job that front of house does. Back of house are no slouches, by the way. The food is flavorful and heavenly. As most everyone has mentioned on Yelp, the crispy Brussels sprouts are to die for; you'll find yourself always ordering them upon subsequent visits.

The crab cakes shrank soooo much. I have ordered the crab cakes before and they were decent sized. But now, the order of three is the size of ONE original crab cake size. Super disappointed. Three TINYYYY little crab cakes cost $25. That is just ridiculous... The steak also wasn't as good as the first time I went. Safe to say, I won't be coming back here. I should've went to my usual birthday steak restaurant. At least I can count of them to make it right.

If you are familiar with the San Gabriel Valley, then you know landing a steakhouse in the middle of some of the best Asian food in the world (really) is a risk. The risk is worth it in the long run. Located at the entrance of a hotel on Valley Blvd the room, with it's high ceilings, is a little to modern/cold for a steakhouse. If you can get over the room ambience, then the food, the real reason you are at this place anyway, is excellent both in preparation and presentation. The menu is "family style" with largish portions meant to be shared. The steaks were excellent and on par with the best steakhouses in Los Angeles. The service was also excellent - attentive but not obtrusive. So, if you live in the area, just driving through, or the lineup at your favorite restaurant on Valley Blvd is too long, then try E.S.T. as it is a safe bet.

Overall this is one of the best night out drinks and dinner that my wife and I have had in a long time. From the very well-stocked bar to the bartender Marty Who is amazing at not only recommending but making some really high-quality beverages. His knowledge of liquor and creativity in making the drinks definitely made our experience the bar five star. Our server who goes by Nim was amazing. We highly recommend the porterhouse as well as the ball flight. A great experience I highly recommend this steak house. And just because I might’ve forgotten to mention the seats were so comfortable .

The food was amazing, and the service was great. We did have a server bring food to us twice that was not for our table which was obviously just confusion. And our entrees did take a while to receive. But the long wait was worth every minute with the quality of the food. Make sure you bring enough money of course because dinner here is a pretty penny. Overall we had a great experience and I’m sure at some point in the future we will find ourselves back at EST. Prime Steakhouse
