At essence bistro, we believe what makes food great is the use of fresh produce. Working with the seasons in Ontario, we get to capture the freshness using everything at its peak. The local bounty inspires us to create seasonal dishes and energizes our team to share our flavours with our guests!

Our Chef has over 20 years of experience in the culinary industry in the most prestigious establishments in the world, and knowledge of several cuisines bringing you a world fusion experience.

We are located in the charming Old Market Lane pocket known as the original Downtown Woodbridge, found on Woodbridge Avenue and a short drive from neighbouring communities such as Kleinburg, Nobleton, Bolton, and Caledon.

This is an excellent little gem in Woodbridge. Delicious and fresh farm to table quality brunch! Highly recommend any of the Eggs Benedict or Florentine, as well as the pomegranate mimosa.

Our meal was just ok! Nothing excellent but nothing terrible. Staff were kind and professional.

Great little place. We enjoyed the ambiance and food was really good. The server was refreshing as well. Great personality. We’d definitely go back.

We had an amazing experience at Essence Bistro. The presentation, flavour blends, service, ambiance was extraordinary. The chef brought several dishes to our table on the house and came to explain each one . We we felt so special and I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had an excellent experience dining here for our first time. The menu was well diversified and the food was great. Service was on point and we were well taken care of from start to finish from the staff. Sincere thanks to Chef for the Turkish inspired desert!

Went for brunch. Food was very good. Everyone enjoyed their order. Drink selection was not updated and we were not told this at the beginning so ended up just drinking water because many choices were not available. Waitress was nice but lacking. It wasn't busy but her service was a bit slow. And there were times we had to speak to her but the music was a bit loud so neither of us could hear the other. At least the food was good and we might possibly go back. Restaurant was bright with a nice atmosphere.

We had an amazing experience at Essence Bistro! Service and food were excellent. The chef personally came and explained his dishes and provided us with some unique delicious creations for us to try. It made our anniversary even more special. We will definitely be back.
