Esposito's Italian Bistro
The food was average. Chicken Parmesan had lots of pasta, too much sauce and an over cooked piece of thinly cut chicken breast on top. Cesar salad was good, as were the fries. The other dishes in our group were underwhelming. Service was okay. Had to find the server to get plates for the appetizers. Even with a reservation, we were initially seated in a high traffic flow area but our request to be switched to an open table was accommodated. Automatic 20% gratuity added to bill for 5 people, which was surprising. With the many restaurants in Auburn, won’t be in a hurry to return.
It was fabulous.
Enjoyed our dinner and would definitely dine here again!
Awful food. The lasagna was disgusting. It was smothered in so much sauce I scraped it all off. My coworkers pasta was a hard ball all clumped together. The server forgot our appetizer…. The bruschetta was burnt… not sure what happened but we were extremely disappointed… terrible first experience!!!!
Love this restaurant when we visit Auburn! The staff is so friendly and works so hard. Game weekends are slammed all over and they do a great job serving their diners and everyone is smiling.
Amazing food, great service despite our poor waitress having to wait on around 10 tables. Bread and oil is always a treat. Loved the spinach and cauliflower dip with the toasted bread. Loved the zucchini noodles with vegetables and meatballs. Very tasty and will return again!!
We have been before and it was absolutely fantastic. While the food was still great on this visit and the server was very nice, the service started out fast and dropped off. We ordered a to go dessert and it took 25 minutes. Had we known we probably wouldn’t have ordered it.
We were a large party with 2 separate reservations on a game weekend and they were able to accommodate us!!
Great new little spot for casual Italian. The bar was a bit backed up. Light sauce requested on flatbreads came out has heavy sauce. The appetizer dip potion was very small for a sharable dish....consider a bigger container please. We would give it another visit.
Our favorite Italian food in Auburn. The bolognese sauce is especially good.
The food was good for the price. It’s not top tier food, but it’s priced accordingly.
This was a great find! Small place with amazing service and great food! The lasagna was delicious! Big portions and great prices! The menu is limited but I highly recommend this place!
Ordered Linguini Carbonara. The “ Panchetta seemed to be fat back, and inedible. The Sauce should have had loads of Parmesan cheese with egg and butter, but it wasn’t cheesy. Our other dish was Tagliatelle with Bolanaise. The pasta hadn’t been stired while cooking and came clumped together.
The salads however were both very good/ Caprese, and Ceasar . Service, though friendly, lacked attention. We were brought dessert and had to go in search of spoons to eat it. We were disappointed in the fare and noise level.
Food was “just okay”. So noisy we could hardly carry on a conversation. With all the good choices in Auburn we don’t have any need to go back any time soon. Service was very good.
Great service. Sam was great
We really liked our quiet table in the back, the friendliness of the servers, and the food! We'll be back!
Not what I expected from an Italian food
Wanted to bring some friends for their first visit. Everyone enjoyed it. Our server, Conner was well prepared for all the questions we ‘peppered’ him with. As usual, we enjoyed ourselves.
I had requested standard seating and we were seated at a high top booth next to the bar.It was extremely uncomfortable - hard, wooden boxes and the table was too far away. As a shorter person, I had to sit on the edge of my seat the entire night. If we visit again I will specifically request a table in the front of the restaurant. Our server was excellent. I don’t recall her name though. She was also covering the bar. We started with the cauliflower spinach dip. It didn’t have very much flavor and I wouldn’t order it again. My husband had the seafood fra diavolo. It normally comes with zucchini noodles, but my husband requested pasta and his request was granted without any problem. It came with generous portions of mussels and shrimp. At the recommendation of our server, I had the chicken pesto tagliatelle. It was very flavorful, but the pasta was a bit over cooked. Both portions were very large and enough for 2 meals. It appeared that this restaurant was short-staffed and had a very limited menu, but our food was brought out promptly and it was hot. We took dessert to go. I had the zeppole with peach compote. It was okay. Should’ve eaten it warm at the restaurant. My husband had the cannoli and he enjoyed them. We were celebrating our anniversary and I specified this on our reservation on Open Table, but our special event was not acknowledged. Will try this restaurant again in the future.
Great fresh homemade dishes. Wine list was solid.
This is our new 'go-to' for Italian fare. Every dish is prepared and served in an attractive manner. While fairly new, they get the basics of good food, pleasant atmosphere and good service. We have yet to find fault with anything! Just go!
It was good but not great. We’ll try it again though.
Waitress was friendly but not very professional. Brought dirty dishes to our table and stacked them on top of our dishes. Food is decent.
Very enjoyable meal. Service was great, we all enjoyed our dishes; will return!
Good food and service
Excellent food and service st this trendy Italian Bistro a stones throw from the Auburn University campus!
We came on the night before Auburns spring graduation, so it was very busy but we were well taken care of and the food was delicious! The Alfredo had a little too much pepper in it for some people’s tastes in our party, so beware if you aren’t a pepper fan. The bread and cauliflower spinach dip were amazing. Great wine selection for a good value!
A hidden in plain sight gem! GO! Food was fantastic.
Very good service and food. Homemade pasta and great appetizers. Manager Linda super nice.
Lindsay and Linda were fabulous!
Nice wine list reasonably priced
We were able to get a reservation last minute when every other restaurant was packed....and now we know why. The service was subpar, the food was ok and they have no liquor license. It took way too long for food to arrive, drinks to get to the table, etc. on top of that, it seems like one of our servers might have been drunk.
Love this restaurant!! Great food! Great service! Very reasonable prices!
Great food! Great service! Reasonable prices!!
Love the food! Great value and yummy. The the lasagna and fried artichokes and awesome. We go about once a week.
Very nice place. Food was excellent.
We were seated promptly and greeted by our server quickly. Our entrees arrived within 20 minutes and the lasagna was delicious. Would definitely return to try more dishes.
Great dining experience. Good food and atmosphere.
This was our first time visiting Esposito’s and it was an awesome experience! Food was delicious, service was perfection, and overall value was a 10! We wished that the lighting was a little dimmer for more ambiance, but we really enjoyed our visit and will be back!
