I dont know if " noise kevel" on that scale means loud or excellent....but it is EXTREMELY loud music. We had to ask to turn it down at its still WAY too loud. I could hear the person across from me and there was no crowd.( 5p on a Thursday just as they opened) . It's also wwayyy too dark. The joke was that we can't see what ee are eating. It's a shame too because the food is outstanding but my girlfriend does not want to return just because of the issues.

Very noisy - turn the "music" down. Also, dim lighting made us use our phone flashlights to read the menu. May be attributable to our age, which implies the restaurant is for a younger crowd. Tight quarters too as the restaurant seating is essentially a narrow strip with a bar on oen side in the front and the kitchen on the same side at the back. Customers have to take turns walking the aisle. No two-way traffic. Which is fine when you are seated and eating. Food was excellent. Service timing was top quality as well.

Very good food -we particularly liked the dumplings and the skirt steak. The gem salad was wonderful. Short ribs were on the fatty side. Loved the Phoenix cocktail, but did not love the house margaritas, not much alcohol and too much ice. Corn and flour tortillas that came with the meal were superb. We will definitely go back.

Large selection of drinks. Don't let 'boozy' description fool you. Mai Tai lacking, but it's generally a tequila bar. Overall, love this place.

Was excited to book Espiritu during Restaurant Week after reading the rave reviews that qualified this restaurant as a 4.7. What an utter disappointment! For $55 a person, we “dined” upon decent appetizers (at least this aspect was edible), an undercooked skirt steak drowning in pinto beans and an over-terriyaki glazed salmon that was seared on the outside and raw in the middle. Nothing about our meals remotely resembled Mexican cuisine (many of their dishes appeared to be more Asian-infused, leading us to question the type of food they actually served.) Adding insult to the experience, they also fancy themselves a unique cocktail bar experience. Drinks were $20+ with no flavor. My drink, the Tiana, was nothing more than a fruit juice infused shot of gin over an ice cube that took up 90% of the glass volume. I was so excited for this date night out and was left disappointed, with a grumbling stomach and feeling completely ripped off.

Probably the best meal I’ve had in Arizona since I’ve lived here for 3 years. We did the restaurant week 3 course meal. There was Birria dumplings, a tuna tostada, and I had the Asian peppercorn salmon. The flavor from all of the dishes were phenomenal! I really hope they add these items to the menu permanently and not just for restaurant week. A friend of mine ordered the queso fundido which had these little shoestring fries on top, melted cheese, and a salsa underneath. The house made tortillas were to die for. I did try two different cocktails, one was the espiritu 69 and it was just super refreshing and delicious. Love to the vibes in here, dimly lit with beautiful decor. They were playing really good music, it was like 90s and 2000s hip-hop. I loved everything about this place. I will definitely be back!
