A Sunset Dream with Flavors to Match Dining at this Greek restaurant by the sea felt like stepping into a postcard. The view alone is worth the visit—crimson and blood orange streaks melted into the water as the sun dipped behind the horizon. It was the kind of sunset that makes you forget to check your phone. Though our table wasn’t immediately ready, the staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Without hesitation, they offered us complimentary drinks while we waited—something rare and so appreciated. That gesture set the tone for the evening: thoughtful, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming. The highlight of the meal? The cuttlefish risotto. Silky, rich, and brimming with depth, it was a perfect balance of brine and comfort—like the ocean itself had been simmered into every bite. Not a memorable experience. The location is beautiful by the sea. I booked the restaurant for the sunset view However the tables are placed in a way that only people by the hedge can really enjoy the view. I arrived in advance of my booking reservation (45 min earlier) The restaurant was almost empty but yet I was told that only early bookings (meaning 1 to 2 months ago) could benefit from the best views. I was therefore placed in the very back of the restaurant (again which was not full at the time and for the best part of my dinner) Then a couple left even earlier their table which was by the hedge (without eating) because of the strong wind. Yet, I was not offered to move. Other couples arrived afterwards and even without reservation and got better placed than me. Another couple also complained about this table allocation policy. The food was good though (even if a bit too salty for me) Anyway, I left the restaurant right after sunset and got in the end better photo shots and light close by than within the restaurant…. The day before I was in another famous « sunset view restaurant » and had a totally different experience…. Given the price of the menu (quite costly), the unclear table allocation « policy » (nowhere this was explained under booking conditions on the website for instance), the relatively « warm » welcome, not worth it for me…

Such an amazing experience as first timers on the island! Our dinner was amazing, shortly after sunset we got a drink at the bar while waiting for our table and all staff was super welcoming and helpful. Even when the sun set and it was dark they provided us with a table light and offered blankets if we were cold. For my friends birthday they gave us shots and she got sorbet. Would 100% come back again if we ever make it to Santorini in the future!!!!! You get what you pay for😌

Such a lovely first dining experience in Fira, we were running late to our reservation and the staff was extremely understanding and accommodating. They were still able to seat us despite coming late. Service was exceptional, staff goes above and beyond and is extremely kind and easy going. Food was just perfect, and there was a complementary potato croquet starter and dessert chocolate from the chef in addition to what we ordered. Bar is also fantastic, I had the best midori sour in my life here. The view is the cherry on top! Highly recommend this place!

Absolutely incredible view. Finest instagram worthy food…visually & taste! Top notch service, quality & atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for that authentic Santorini vibe!

We had a truly wonderful experience at Esperisma. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. The team thoughtfully provided a high chair for our baby and even brought out blankets when it got a little chilly—such attention to detail! The food was an absolute highlight. Every dish looked like a piece of art and tasted just as incredible. Even the amuse-bouches between courses were delightful and full of flavor. The service was impeccable throughout the evening. The staff were always smiling, refilled our water without being asked, and regularly checked in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. And of course, the view was stunning—even though we weren’t seated right at the front, we still had a beautiful view of the caldera. Highly recommended for a special evening in Santorini!

Food was good but the cost-to-value is high, I think primarily because of the amazing view. The staff were excellent, attentive and explained the ingredients in the food.
