Waiter was great when we arrived but dropped the ball. The free tortillas never came. We had to wave waiters over to get more drinks. The filet mignon in the taco was super dry, the halibut taco was delicious. The guac is the best in town.

I've been to Esparanza several times since they opened in MB and sadly I'm less impressed every time I go. The ambiance and service are generally okay but the food quality is going downhill.

I celebrated my 50th at Esperanza with some girlfriends. The staff was extremely accommodating, even when the group ended up being half the size as planned. Our waiter was so friendly and had such a positive great energy. The food was outstanding. We kept ordering rounds of ceviche because it was so delicious. I chose Friday night because I knew there would be a DJ and we were able to dance late into the night which made my birthday celebration that much more memorable.

Came here for my birthday and the ambiance was nice. The flavor of the food was good however, it did not come out hot which was a tad bit disappointing. I was nervous to send it back to the kitchen so I accepted it as it was. The waitress was very friendly but it's pretty loud in the restaurant so if you want a quieter place this is not the place.

Our Service was great!!! They acknowledged our Anniversary with a dessert! The food and drinks were the best!!! Thanks again, we will be back. Also, I would recommend the lobster and shrimp chimichangas and the margaritas with the jalapeños and cucumbers! Excellent!!

The atmosphere in Esperanza is hopping even on a Sunday evening. We sat on the outer edge as the inside was very loud. It was still "energetic." The steaks were very good and well-seasoned.

Met a coworker here for lunch around 1:30 on a Friday afternoon. The food was amazing and the open air ambiance was super charming. I had the lobster chili renello which I highly recommend. This is a great spot and I look forward to my next visit.

Service was A++++, so polite and attentive. But after much anticipation all I can say is that it's no different from any other Mexican joint slinging margs and tacos. For the money and quality and equal energy much prefer Sausal in El Segundo. Also booth seating isn't very deep so not very comfy, though the decor is beautiful.

Staff very friendly, nice location steps away from the beach, with great ambiance. Only problem was we had to fight flies the whole time. Maybe from the dried fruit sitting around the bar. Overall good experience

While the food was delicious, the noise level was so deafening that we only made it 1/2 way through our meal. We asked for togo boxes and skedaddled. My friend and I had to shout at each other to be heard. My ears were ringing for hours after we left.

Exceptional, delicious, updated Mexican food with a hip, modern ambiance. The service is friendly and personal. At first glance the menu looks somewhat traditional, but the ingredients, sauces and presentation are fresh and very tasty. A great place to celebrate a birthday--the fried ice cream is a taste explosion! Love this place!
