Esme was recommended by a friend who lives in Greenpoint. Food was very good and the server was patient and attentive. Good for casual dining with a friend with upscale food quality.

Always consistent! Love everything about Esme. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Food is always great and the atmosphere is casual and easy. It's a great option and I'm so glad it's in my neighborhood!

They are the most accommodating restaurant with food allergies. The quality of everything they have is always fresh and their servers are very nice. The ambiance is beautiful. And there is a great variation on the menu.

We were welcomed with a glass of birthday bubbly, given a dessert on the house and a digestif to follow. Really great, welcoming service, lovely food and very reasonably priced! Would highly recommend.

This is our favorite restaurant in Greenpoint. We come here for birthdays and other special occassions. We bring out of town guests here. We even come here just because it sounds nice, as we did this time around. The food is consistently excellent and the service is wonderful. Don't miss the brussel sprout and beet salad, one of our favorite dishes in the city.

We came here for NYE and had a spectacular experience. It was our first time eating at this restaurant. Our meals were outstanding and the whole time we were there we felt the place had a great vibe with a wonderful staff. It is also noteworthy to say that it was great to have a delicious vegetarian option available without majorly changing the prix fixe menu. Looking forward to coming back again in the future!

This was my second time at Esme. The first time was for lunch, this time it was dinner. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and appreciate that the noise level was not too loud, so my group could have a conversation without shouting. The food was excellent. For dinner I had the grilled salmon, and it was cooked perfectly. Crisp and grilled on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. I will definitely be back.

Such a great experience at Esme! From the moment we sat down to the moment we left, we were treated with amazing service by all the Esme staff.

Our server was attentive and helpful in recommendations for food and drink and made the experience pleasant. We went to celebrate a birthday and they were kind enough to comp our dessert.

Can’t recommend the food and drinks enough. The Steak Tartar was incredible, as was the Cauliflower Side and Beet and Brüssel Sprout appetizer. All of our entrees came out together and at a great temperature.

Will definitely be going back to visit soon!

Lovely ambiance and excellent food. My server made an excellent wine suggestion and was attentive without being overbearing. I ordered crispy polenta with a mushroom sauce that was perfect for a brisk winter evening. Hearty, savory and satisfying, the polenta was tender and rich underneath it's crisp surface.

Excellent renderings of classic comfort food. Highlights were the Calamari and the roast chicken. Great cocktails. Wine list tried to be interesting but didn’t wow

Esma oozes with rusticates charm indoor and out. We had a lovely dinner outside on an autumn night- it was enchanting. The cuisine is flavorful and relatable and the staff really cares. Also- they have orange wine- the “new” rose- delicious! Check it out!

We had a wonderful meal at Esme. We had a couple hours free while our daughter was with a sitter so we came for a birthday dinner for my husband along with our 4 month old. We were greeted with some sparkling wine for the occasion which was quite lovely. We each ordered a cocktail and burgers (one vegetarian and one traditional) and thoroughly enjoyed them. We shared a beer on our way out (which they generously split for us) and they even sent us on our way with a birthday dessert. So thoughtful! Amazing experience from start to finish. So glad we chose them for our date night!

Loved the outdoor seating area! Waiters forgot about 2 drink orders but ended up comping them! Def try the bistro steak. The Erika Marie cocktail with mezcal and aperol is my new favorite drink. Strawberry shortcake dessert is perfect.

This was an awful experience. I've lived in Greenpoint for 15 years, and this was my first time trying Esme. Terrible and dismissive service, no attention to detail, our waiter forgot to bring almost everything we asked for -- it was almost comical. The food was decent at best; certainly not worth the prices if the service is that bad. Dessert was actually disgusting, unfortunately. Pretty rare to find a dessert that leaves you feeling even worse about the meal. Oh well.. Will never come back and recommend to all that they avoid. Plenty of good restaurants in the neighborhood not to need one that pretends to care.

Warm and friendly environment with well prepared comfort food and a good array of cocktails.

The team at Esme is always very accommodating and helpful. I enjoy coming in regularly for any of the different meal periods (brunch, dinner). Food quality is good as well as presentation. I must say the though, the calamari was undercooked last time I had it. BUT (and most importantly) they always come through with the wine service. Good recommendations and never an empty glass!!!
