Wonderful as always! Food was great, and it wasn’t too loud, so good for conversations.
Great food, good service. very attentive. Fantastic Desserts, my Coconut Cream Tart was outstanding, along with the Chocolate peanut butter Cheesecake which I brought to work for my staff. They Loved it! Thank You.
Waiter was fantastic. Food remarkable. Love this restaurant
I have dined here countless times. It is always perfect. I did order an unusual appetizer this time. It was a gnocchi cheese starter. I would not recommend that particular item.
I have been to a great deal of restaurants and have to say that I was a bit disappointed with the service. I felt that the food was good but the ambiance and treatment was very unpleasant and something that I have never and hope no one has to experience.
Not bad for Danville dining. Nice good, good atmosphere. OK prices, good cocktails. Service seemed a bit off to be considered fine dining but acceptable for the price.
Very comfortable restaurant. Went on a Saturday night, early at 5pm fairly quiet and by 6 it was packed. That explains the time choices we had were for 5 or 8.
Good menu and everything was cooked just right.
Server, Margarita was delightful and engaging.
Awesome as always
Very good food and service, but some of the small portion sizes were insulting.
Great service and menu. Extensive desserts great dinner options.
Food was exceptional. Service was outstanding - a knowledgable and very responsive waiter. Bus personnel were very attentive but not hovering. Atmosphere was very comfortable. Not, in any way, rushed. A very memorable & delightful luncheon experience. We look forward to returning for Dinner very soon.
Our server was excellent & made welcomed suggestions.
The service was very good, but the food has very poor. The onion soup was very bad flavor wise. The pot roast was very salty and tough. The risotto very bland. The baklava had carmel sauce rather than honey, was doughy not flaky.
Fabulous service and everyone was so kind!
We love Esin. We came with friend for dinner on Valentines Day. Usually, holiday dinners at restaurants are not very good. However, at Esin, it was wonderful. We were given a booth (which I asked for since our friend has a hearing problem), and they graciously cleared one for us in a quiet area. The service was the best we have ever had, and the food was great. It is our favorite place in our area.
My husband and I come here every Valentine's Day. Our one night away without 3 kids makes this a perfect and relaxing dining experience. The food is always exquisite so we always make a point to try something new from the menu.
Like always Esin overall is a consistent, great local restaurant. This time we both had the philo wrapped chicken w/risotto and it was absolutely excellent. The side of bacon Brussels sprouts were undercooked and therefore chewy—maybe the first real miss in all the years we’ve been coming to Esin. Overall highly recommend. Great service. Great food.
Esin is our Valentines date tradition. We tend to end up in the tables squeezed into the middle of the main room, which isn't as cozy as a small booth or other tables. I prefer fish or seafood, so I ordered the Valentines special - salad, scallops on cauliflower and dessert. My husband ordered the salad with apples and onion soup. Everything was excellent. It's nice to have a fine-dining-but-not-too-stuffy restaurant like this on the East Bay.
Lunch was good, not great. Tables were a bit cramped for space.
Had an excellent Valentine’s Day lunch on the patio. The meal and service were fantastic.
Reservations were exactly as requested (booth). Service was a little sluggish, and it took a while to get the check. The fried chicken sandwich was severely underseasoned, but my wife’s salmon was excellent. No desserts were ordered (unfortunately).
The food was wonderful, as always. It was tasty, creative, and unique. The risotto with wild mushrooms was superb. The chocolate/coffee tart with salted caramel sauce was exceptional.
We celebrated a special occasion on a Tuesday night that happened to be both Mardi Gras and the eve of Valentine's Day. The restaurant was packed at 8:00pm, yet we got our table for two right away, the service was prompt and courteous and the food came just at the right time with perfect timing between the cocktails and the 3 courses our dinner included, I would definitely go back to this restaurant and recommend it to others. It was also a good value for our money and the food was delicious.
Great place with great people working there.
First time their after a recommendation from a friend. It was very good. I am will be back.
Food excellent with exception of risotto which was too bland. Excellent time though. Pot roast “ to die for”. No knives needed.
As usual, the food was very good with ample portions. Our server was very accommodating and friendly. We will definitely return .
The food at Esin is always very good. The 4 star rating for "overall" was because I had my mouth watering for their fish special and they had run out of the one I was going to order.
We almost always end up with a booth; however, the other night we were at a table right near the hostess booth and front door.....a lot of traffic....
We can always count on Esin's wonderful food and desserts.....
Disappointing. Service was extremely so. We got water and bread virtually once we sat down, but menus came 5 to 10 minutes later and we had to ask to order something to drink besides water. Wine eventually appeared and our order taken. That was followed by 15 to 20 minute waits between courses! We finally had to ask the server to take our dessert order.
The potato leek soup was warm not hot. The requested medium rare prime rib arrived raw with the largest serving of mashed potatoes we have ever seen. The lemon tart was a lemon meringue pie! The salad, mossake and bread pudding were all very good. Too bad we remember how good Esin was was it was just a small little restaurant in San Ramon.
Great food, as always, and super service.
