This was one of my favorite restaurants. The last two times food was just not as good. We were a party of 4 and were all in agreement. I had short rib enchiladas two times and each time parts were ice cold which makes me believe meat had been frozen
Our waiter tried to charge us more than what we had, to receive a bigger tip. Won’t be returning to that place ever again.
Good service, good food and a nice atmosphere. Large enough to have loud Karaoke going on at one end, yet quieter dining going on at the other end.
Food was excellent. Service was good, not great (we had to ask for silverware and napkins, meals arrived and silverware was not on table). Will definitely return.
The person who brought out food out, switched two of the plates. Also, one order was made with chicken instead of beef (child menu). It was also a birthday celebration, which was indicated on open table and also told to the staff. We were told that they can’t see that on the open table reservations on their end. I have never had this problem with open table in any other restaurants. We had to get the manger involved to receive a happy birthday song and desert. The food dishes were not cleared prior to desert coming out and until after we paid the bill. One of the dinners was taken off the bill, but it was not a good experience at all. The bathrooms were also filthy.
First time going to Escondido. Great time and food.
Much to much noise made the dining experience neggative. Suggest better sound absorbing material for the ceiling. You want people to have fun, but the noise was deafening.
Dined at Escondido’s numerous times and the food is always fantastic. The service, specifically the wait staff, is always good, however one thing that is a little frustrating is that the last few times we have been there they do not always seem to clear dirty/empty plates off the table when they bring out the next course. So you end up eating dessert when your dinner plates and even your appetizer plates cluttered all over the table. This is something that could easily be addressed so that customers enjoy the meal more and make Escondido’s even better.
Very disappointed with marguerita. It taste like some sweet lime juice salted with table salt. Overall the food was tasteless.
Really nice restaurant with good food. The happy hour is great
Good food. Wasn’t that busy at 6 on a Friday night.
First time trying this place. Very good Mexican food. So much better than OTB. Will definitely go back. Everything was so fresh and portions were excellent.
Food was tasty, service was excellent & they have a full bar. Plus, they have a gluten free menu.
Always good. Food is best of Mexican in the area. Tequila choices are outstanding. Bartenders know their stuff. We're regulars and will continue to be.
