Family owned & operated, Ernesto's East has been serving the Glen Head community for nearly two decades with outstanding Italian cuisine, excellent service and an incredible wine selection. We have tons of specials that roll out each week, some of our favorites are the Tortellini Ernesto, cream based and diced pancetta, sea salt cured Pork Chop, on the grill or Milanese, Grilled Sea Bass with sautéed Shitake mushrooms, Spanish onions & asparagus to mention a few. We have a local following that spans generations, some from our original location in Bayside, Queens some 35 years ago! We are a small restaurant, but treat each and every guest like family, and have a reputation for excellence from the kitchen to your plate, every time! We do private parties and events for before-dinner service from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm any day of the week. The minimum guest count is 12 and the maximum guest count is 40. Dylan and the waiter stayed late to accommodate our large party coming from our son’s high school graduation. They worked with us on the menu and accommodated our celebrations. The food was delicious and the service was spot on. Highly recommend.

Lovely dinner at Ernesto's East - the highlight was definitely the stuffed artichoke, which was amazing! For mains, both my husband and I enjoyed the Tuesday pasta special - a value that can't be beat. We look forward to returning soon.

This neighborhood gem is quiet with an impressive menu. The staff was lovely and we especially enjoyed our entrees of salmon, And an array of pastas. Glad that there was a choice of WW pasta as well as gluten-free and vegan! All great!

Lovely week night dinner at Ernesto's East. Our server was attentive and our meals very good. We tried the new Family Meal, a prix fixe that is offered on Wednesday and Thursday and enjoyed all four courses. The Chicken Princepesa was especially good, as was the cheesecake. We look forward to returning to this neighborhood favorite.

Went for our 10 year anniversary & have been coming here for years. Outstanding all the time. Try the veal da Vinci it’s the best.
