Erawan Thai Cuisine
Food was delicious. Drunken noodles tasty but not very spicy next time I’ll up the heat level. My partner had catfish over which he absolutely raved. Since it was our first time there we asked our server for recommendations and she was spot on. Will definitely return.
Food is excellent with great service. This was my second time here. The fried dumplings were wonderful and the drunken noodles were terrific. The fried banana roles with mango ice cream capped of a great experience.
Literally left because the waitress never came to take our order. They were not even busy... I have been here before and it was busy. They seem to have gone downhill.
My kids love this place - food is fast, tasty, fairly priced. My 8 year old gets curry on the side and eats it like soup. Service is good. Ambiance takes a knock for the stream of food-delivery people coming in and out, and it can get a little loud as the night goes on. This is a safe choice for solid Thai.
Restaurant staff is always so pleasant. And the food was delicious. The dinner special is a fantastic deal
Love this place. Hidden gem. Such delicious food and such a great value. We love to share our entrees so we can try more.
Not enough servers, lots of dirty tables, credit card machine not working but they didn’t tell us that until after we had already eaten
Takes long to get seating even after reservation. There is no queue system maintained so people who came in after us were seated first.
So crowded, staff maybe not prepared for number of diners? Food wasn’t really anything above fair. Probably won’t return
Authentic Thai food and lovely decor!
Amazing as always!! The food was spectacular and my date had a really great time.
They put in the wrong order to the kitchen so we had to wait 35 minutes for our food while everyone else was eating at our table. But when it did come, it was really good. Also BYOB with no cork fee :)
I had heard about this neighborhood Thai restaurant and had the Worst experience ever. The food was tasteless, it was dropped off at the table, they forgot to mention they were out of duck until 30 minutes, after we placed our order and no one asked about our meals. Whenthe bill was presented they noticed the plates untouched and asked if we wanted it boxed to go. They are clueless! Worst ever!!!!
My fiancé received her entree; I never received mine after waiting for 30 minutes and asking we told them we were leaving . We had to pay for my fiancées entree then we left and went to JJ Thai
Great food! One of the largest selection of Thai foods I’ve experienced. Very authentic and very good!
A Thai favorite in Philadelphia. Our family loves Thai and we try to visit Erawan often!
my vegan friend and I were delighted once again by the food, the charm, the very moderate prices. Highly recommended.
Love Erawan. I usually get pad thai, which is much better in the restaurant than delivery. Fun place for a casual date or dinner with friends (BYO). Lots of great vegetarian options! The steamed vegetarian dumplings on the app menu are great!
Very loud (not really the fault of the restaurant -- but two large tables of drunk, loud Penn students). Lots of options for dishes, my family enjoyed the appetizers more then the entrees. We were a little disappointed with our levels of spice, but will just be sure to ask for spicier next time!
Great food. Quick service.
Loved the service at Erawan. Food was delicious. They made a special ice cream plate for my son's birthday, and they happily served 8 of us. The maitre d' was delightful.
Very good Thai food served in a friendly, warm environment
Great and quick service, very delicious noodles. Recommended.
Great service. Everything we had was fantastic and we really appreciate the servers suggestions.
Everything was lovely!
On holiday in Philidelphia found this place and it was consistent with good thai food internationally
Went for a work lunch. Great food and service !
We had a delicious meal. Everything was fresh and served hot. Dishes listed as spicy weren’t too spicy.
My only criticism is the room temperature. It was a hot day outside and it didn’t feel air conditioned.
Best Thai restaurant in Philly! Every meal we have tried has been delicious and we always have a great time. Very cute restaurant and amazingly friendly service.
3 course lunch meal is economical and tasty. I visited 3 times and it was tasty everytime 😀
Erawan is a wonderful Thai restaurant in the general vicinity of Rittenhouse Square. The menu has a great variety of Thai specialties. The portions are a good size and the prices are very reasonable. The service is excellent. My friends and I were greeted by a high energy server (who actually remembered me from my last visit). All of the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. While I have dined at Erawan many times, I don't stray from my absolute favorite, Paradise Garden - vegetables and tofu in a peanut sauce. There is a nice variety of appetizers which can be shared by a group. One piece of advice, save room for dessert. They are phenomenal and worth the splurge. It is always a good idea to arrive early. Erawan is a small restaurant and fills up at a rapid pace.
Let's start with the food - outstanding! Perhaps the best Thai food I have had outside of Thailand. But, this is a small, family run place (which I consider to be a plus), so the tables are small and close to each other and the service is friendly but not completely smooth. The people are extremely nice and did I mention the food? That's what you go here for. It's also a BYOB which I love.
For was pretty bad. Had the messages in a flavorless both. My friend s fried calamari were awful
Excellent Thai food. Highly recommend sea bass, curry shrimp, and pad thai. Number 1 spice is plenty spicy. Staff was super friendly and welcoming.
El I htjk. Su ksssws k f do ?? FTC
Perhaps the best Thai food I have eaten. Great little BYOB restaurant. Service a little slow but food was worth the wait. We will be back.
Tight space inside the restaurant. Service is slow. Brought my husband the wrong food, which is bad because he has a food allergy. Would recommend maybe for take out but not eat in.
Great local Thai restaurant - lots of options and it's all good
Authentic/Great food! Excellent service! Small and intimate. Did I say great food?!
Delicious food, great service. We'll be going back when we visit Philly again.
