Me and my wife absolutely love this restaurant. Always a changing menu so each time we go back it’s like a new experience every time. Chef is amazing and very personable. Service is outstanding. Great date night for sure. Highly recommend
Equinox vegan brunch is always an excellent experience but I think the new format of courses instead of a buffet takes it to the next level. Everything comes out hot, flavors layered and presentation on point. We had one of the first reservations of the day at 10:30am and sat indoors and there was one other party seated outdoors at the same time. As the meal went on and especially as we inadvertently went past the time limit at the table the restaurant got more full including a large birthday party, some of whom entered the restaurant without masks. The staff did send them back to their tables when they got up and tried to walk around without masks. The size of the party seemed to surprise the waitstaff.
A great and varied menu - so nice to have a place that caters both to vegan needs and those of us who are not vegan. It was nice to meet Todd, the executive chef, and learn that his wife is vegan and that informs how he structures his menu, which by the way changes seasonally!
Truly one of the most outstanding chef-driven restaurants in DC. So many vegan and vegetarian options, too. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed Equinox overall. My husband had the curried tofu, which was excellent. He also liked the chilled cucumber and tomatillo soup. The foccacia was to-die-for. My salad came out wrong--twice. I sent it back the first time, didn't bother the second time. I just ate it. The butternut squash shakshuka is what I had. It was good but I would order the curry if we went back. We really appreciated the numerous plant-based options on the menu, including dessert! No one has that! The service was slow overall. Chef Grey also came out to greet us, which was lovely. They had a non-alcoholic beer-- another nice touch since I don't drink. We sat outside so it was a bit loud, but that's not their fault. We are not yet dining indoors because of COVID. The inside of the restaurant was lovely and clean and they had people spaced out well.
Ok, nothing memorable or special. Too many carbs.
Have been to brunch here before, it was better nutrition, variety & quality. Desserts too sweet & dry.
I don’t usually leave reviews but my husband and I have been to the Equinox brunch a few times now and it is the best experience I’ve found in DC, hands down. The staff is wonderful to interact with and I genuinely look forward to talking with them and enjoying the delicious food. Can’t say enough about how great this place is. Always a good time.
Vegan brunch was fantastic, with multiple delicious courses. Service was outstanding and everyone left full.
Phenomenal - went for the Vegan Brunch, the food was both delicious and inspiring!
Excellent for a quiet sophisticated meal, with something for all tastes and diets.
Food was amazing, really cute place- will definitely be coming here again!
This was our first visit to Equinox and we choose it because of their reputation for vegan items. It was my husband’s birthday and we wanted to treat him to a special vegan meal. They did not disappoint! From the crispy artichoke appetizer to the fusilli with fresh corn, tempura vegetables and succotash to the dark chocolate cheesecake and peach & raspberry clafoutis - every bite was delicious! Even for non-vegans like myself and my daughter. Service was wonderful as well! We will definitely be back and are looking forward to trying the vegan brunch.
Delicious vegan brunch. Wonderful service and fun atmosphere :)
Best brunch in DC! Excellent service, multi-course feast, mimosas aplenty...what more could you ask for?
Loved this vegan brunch. Creative, flavorful, FRESH. Loved the variety. HIGHLY recommend. Service is amazing as well.
Great meal and great experience especially for restaurant week.
The food was amazing! Staff were all wearing masks. Service was impeccable!
Great food from an owner-operatir chef, who is always innovative and incorporates local ingred4
Good COVID adjustments. Great food and service, at a table in the patio. We went during restaurant week. Outstanding value as you could order any three courses from the regular menu for $35. I had soft-shelled crab, swordfish, and a lemon tart.
Amazing dinner and well looked after. The five course tasting menu and wine paring was unbelievable. The soft-shell crab appetizer was incredible!
This vegan brunch is above and behind one of the best vegan meals I’ve ever had. The service was exceptional. The mimosa selection was nice. The orzo and melon salad were delicious. You wouldn’t even know the frittata was vegan. Not to mention the desserts!!! The value for the price is highly recommended!
As always, the meals were on the mark! Equinox delivers quality and innovative meals consistently — and definitely a must do for Restaurant Week. We loved it!
Sometimes restaurant week menus are tired but our meal at Equinox was so delicious we were arguing about what dish was our favorite - truly, of the six plates we shared each one was just amazing.
Amazing experience with great service and delicious food. Equinox quality still top notch as always, even during restaurant week. Soft shell crab, pork tenderloin, crab cakes, truffles mac n cheese, peach tart.. all perfectly cooked. Cocktails were exceptional. 10/10 would recommend!
Wonderful dining experience. Plenty of social distancing and delicious plant based cuisine. Superb service and attention to detail.
We went for dinner during restaurant week and enjoyed our meal outside on the patio. The food and the cocktails were excellent. We would definitely eat their again.
We went for restaurant week and the food was amazing!!! The drinks were great and service was good!! Highly recommend!!!
This is one of my most favorite restaurants in the entire world and I have eaten at restaurants in over 45+ countries. exquisite food!
We were there for restaurant week, every dish had it own vibe and they were all delicious.
Equinox was awesome! The Restaurant Week memo was amazing. I really enjoyed the R and R cocktail - light and refreshing on a hot summer night. Our server was great and the setup of the restaurant was physically distant as appropriate for Covid times.
It was a great experience as always and the food was excellent
We went with our 18 and 20 year olds and we each loved it. There variety for vegetarians was amazing and the flavors were spot on with 80% of the food. We ordered 13 different dishes and loved it as most had different flavors and high quality ingredients. The Golden potato and sweet corn Agnolotti, Turmeric Rigatoni, Macaroni cheese, truffles
Fritters, and Tuscarora Berry Clafoutis were our favorites. We were a little disappointed in the vegetarian lasagna but not a big deal as som many items were excellent. Excellent service, social distancing and decore. Our server was very in tune to our needs and his recommendations were spot on.
Fantastic as always at Equinox. Best restaurant in DC.
Very nice service with average food presentations. Bread was plain, plating was not decorative. The best way to put it was ok cuisine which was not memorable or make me want to return
The food was delicious with a creative twist. Chef Todd Gray came by table and was very pleasant. Great experience overall!!
Great experience. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the brunch - meat eaters or otherwise and everyone left full. Service was great as well, will definitely return.
Phenomenal service and overall experience. Highly recommend the Sunday vegan brunch.
Delicious vegan brunch - creative and delicious courses and more than plenty to eat! Beautiful outdoor seating, and attentive and courteous staff! I would go back in a heartbeat!
Owner is awesome, very friendly. Food was really good. Service was slow, and it wasn’t even that busy. Overall, I would definitely go again.
Warm and friendly service. Nice surroundings in a garden room. Had the five course dinner with wine pairings. The tomatillo cucumber gazpacho was superb with a beautiful presentation. Homemade agnolotti stuffed with potato was delicious. The fish dish was also superb. However, the New York strip dish left a lot to be desired. The taste and texture were okay, but not great. Same for the desert. Wine pairings were well chosen and ample. All in all a really good dinner with some stellar moments.
