Ordered the market tasting menu. Food was consistently under seasoned. I can't remember the last time I had a meal at that price that I needed to salt almost every dish. Added the 5th course for an additional $20. Definitely not worth it and it was bland. Codfish had some kind of pineapple salsa that was delicious but almost undetectable. Could have been great but not enough of what was good. Rack of lamb was good but some were very fatty. Dessert was good. Overall not a good value. Will not be back.

The vegan brunch was amazing! The delicious food, the wonderful service, the excellent cocktails, the fun atmosphere - everything was really great my friends and I had a great time. The music was also amazing which I appreciate as some restaurants can have really jarring music.

I am vegan so chose Equinox because of the vegan menu options. We shared the mushroom appetizer and then I had the cauliflower entree. Both were delicious. I was too full for dessert but had decaf cappuccino with oat milk which was perfect.
My carnivore friend had the cod and the chocolate peanut butter dessert which he thoroughly enjoyed.
The selection of wines was good as well.

Equinox is a true DC Gem. Chef Todd Gray consistently produces the most impressive and delicious meals, offering choices to every conceivable diet. It is definitely one of DC's best restaurants, and a must-do choice for serious diners everywhere!

Loved it that they had a plant-based tasting menu alongside the regular tasting menu. Service was lacking, though. It felt a bit rushed. Bread crumbs never got cleaned off the table clothe. The manner of the waiter grabbing plates away from the table wasn't on par with the upscale status the restaurant hopes to achieve.

Stale menu with gratuitous truffles on everything. Priced for the flashy expense account crowd that’s impressed by that sort of thing. Dumpy space with 2000s decor. Service was poor, staff seemed distant and bothered, glasses went empty, and main courses took so long we wondered if they forgot us.

We went to celebrate my husbands birthday, and it was great. They brought us some champagne to start, and a complimentary amuse bouche, and even put a candle in our dessert. Everything was delicious, and made for a really special evening!

Equinox is a lovely, quiet, romantic spot, and the service was perfect. We were looking for vegan options, and perhaps we ordered the wrong things (tempura, endive salad and a cauliflower main course). It was, unfortunately... not all that good. Not bad, but less wonderful than we had hoped. Still - I would give Equinox another chance. Maybe will ask waiter for advice next time.

This was the first dining experience I have had in D.C. since moving from Philadelphia. I have spent over 10 years eating through the Philadelphia food scene and have been very excited to start in D.C. This was phenomenal first restaurant and I will definitely be back to eat more of the menu. Todd Gray and his restaurant we definitely hold my first food memories of D.C.

The prix-fixe plant-based menu options for Valentine's Day were wonderful - only the dessert (a Napoleon) was a bit lack-luster (like a B, where everything else was really an A+). The other, non-plant-based, dessert with the passionfruit glaze and pistachio genoise, was outstanding.

Excellent Restaurant. We had a 4 course tasting menu meal and every course was delicious. We chose the plant based options. They modified it for my wife who is allergic to nuts and beans. Excellent service. Simply amazing. We will be back.

Our 6th visit in past 2 years with friends for first time. Always a pleasure. Tiny comments on dishes:
PB Jambalaya was very good, not excellent - might need a bit of adjustment
Lamb Chops - might have been a bit rare for friend.
Other wise Awesome!

Wonderful experience trying plant based cuisine at Equinox. Chef Todd Gray and his team delivered a flavorful and creative culinary experience. The service was refined and the wine list was varied. Glad to know I can find vegan fine dining with plenty to offer for the non-vegans among us.

The menu was aggressive trying to meet both vegan and non- vegan dinners. The tasting menus were very enticing from the description. The execution was wanting. The service was attentive but rushed. Courses arrived before we were finished. The wine pairings were inconsistent. We had high expectations that remain unmet.

We ate at the bar. The bartender was lovely and the service was attentive. I had the duck which was tender and flavorful. My husband enjoyed an eggplant entree. Several interesting plant based items on the menu. We will be back! Great wine selection by the glass, too.
