Friends and family
Josh was our server and he was fantastic! We ordered 4 small plates and were too full for dessert, however we have already reviewed the menu for next time - including dessert!
Great atmosphere, drinks, food, staff, and location! Confidently recommend.
Very very limited menu - everything but 1 item is very very spicy or it is hot.
Fish is served with skin on - guess it looks cool but very hard to eat and unappetizing. Need more diversity on entrees.
Plus- off the chart delicious desserts.
Plus- good appetizers
Great food, great service, a little noisy and it was not at capacity.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time! 10 out of 10! Would definitely recommend for any occasion!
Love Epping’s. The food is all so familiar and unique at the same time..and perfectly prepared. The service is consistently just right too.
Birthday dinner prior to basketball game. Great food and service!!
Our server, Jalen was amazing. In this era of service complaints and struggles, it was refreshing how much he put into his service. Truly impressive. And food exceeded our expectations too!
We were impressed with Eppings. The atmosphere was very good. We have a very nice server and the food was delicious. We will definitely go back.
Our favorite restaurant in town; atmosphere is perfect for conversation, but not too quiet. Food is always delicious and servers are friendly.
It was great
Wonderful service and food! I cannot get enough of the French Toast! We will be back!
Excellent food and service.
Great food and chill atmosphere. Always worth the visit. Will be going back many times & definitely recommend to others.
We sat at the counter. It's a relaxed atmosphere and the staff behind the bar were very attentive.
Epping’s never disappoints. Their brunch is the best in Lexington. Skip the mimosas and go for the Eastsider, best drink ever.
Epping’s event spaces and service are perfection.
Bartender and wait staff were friendly and helpful. They provided good advice on entrée and desert selections.
Great food, warm atmosphere, great service, leisurely dinner with friends. Always impressed with the experience at Epping’s.
Over-priced; noisy; dinner for 6 unrelated guests, but I was taken to be seated in a booth; were scallops; brought my soup with my meal and not prior; fish was salty
Enjoyed our dinner. Since we ate early, it was not as loud as it could have been later. This gave us plenty of time to catch up and not have to speak over any other noise.
One of our favorite places!
Eppings is a delight. The service was great. I wish that the music played on both sides of the house. Small plates were yummy!
Great brunch! The salmon salad was different and tasty, we shared it amongst our group.
I couldn’t believe I was full with the green tomatoes Benedict- delicious! Will return for dinner soon.
It was fine. Service wasn’t great, waitress didn’t ask which food options we preferred when a choice should have been made. The food itself was fine, very peppery for my taste but fine. We went before 11am on a Sunday so adult beverages weren’t available so I went with a coffee. A specialty coffee of some kind would have been nice but it wasn’t offered and there was no coffee menu or even on the menu at all. Overall it was fine, but it won’t be my “go to” for brunch.
Our first visit to Epping’s - we are from atlanta and were going to Keenland. The place had a great ambiance. Nice design very comfortable. First stop was the bar for a cocktail (that’s how we found the place. The bartender was featured on a bourbon blog.) the drinks were great and the service was great.
Once we were seated we decided to try several appetizers and small plates. The pork belly burnt ends were very good. The spicy Asian-like sauce was spot on. Next was the crab soup. Again a great soup. The chicken egg rolls were good, but not our favorite.
The server was terrible. Non-attentive. Surly when he did come by. Never had any interaction. We were going to order more food and drinks, but he made that whole experience painful.
Overall I would definitely recommend Epping’s. I know we will be back to give it another try.
This was a perfect place for brunch. So many good things on the menu, I’ll be back for sure!
Great menu options & the food was delicious!
Food was excellent, as always. Service was marginal. Several around us were in and out before we received our food. Server shared specials as we were ready to order. He was not knowledgeable about gluten free (been here many times and the servers typically are well versed in gf). Wine took forever, everything was delayed. Not typical of this restaurant- will go back.
Excellent service, food, and cocktails.
Wide variety of small plates with larger portions.
This was our first time there - food was amazing! We will certainly be back!
Excellent on every level.
A wonderful experience upon opening the door to leaving the beautifully restored old building. The hostess seated us without hesitation even though we were early for our reservation. The server was attentive, friendly, and not in the least intrusive but always ready to respond. The menu was innovative, making it difficult to choose from so many intriguing dishes. The small plates were hardly small, but truly wonderful. The special that evening, beer battered shiitake mushrooms, was glorious; a friend lauded the pork belly burnt ends. Dinners were delicious, a trout was prepared and served elegantly in a star design. Our cocktails were perfectly mixed and a special request involving mescal was adroitly handled. This was a very special culinary experience from every perspective.
I went here for my21st birthday! We had a party of 8 so we were probably the loudest in the restaurant but the ambiance was great and the drinks were awesome!! Our server Nathan was very accommodating to such a big group. We had a lot of requests and he was good about answering questions! We had a couple of food complications but Nathan was so amazing at keeping us happy and getting our food out fast! He was awesome! Eppings was a great place for my birthday!
Food was amazing and service was prompt and friendly. What more could you ask for? Perfect spot to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Or first time in but we’ll definitely be back!
Great place to eat. Solid service and atmosphere
Love this place! Such a beautiful and clean environment! The food was great too!
Excellent as usual. Always look forward to the chef’s specials which never disappoint
