At EPOCH Bar & Kitchen Terrace, we invite you to join us for our Traditional Afternoon Tea experience. Wednesday to Friday, bookings are accepted between 12:00-3:00PM. On Saturday and Sunday, bookings are accepted between 11:00-11:30AM, 1:00-1:30PM, and 3:00-3:30PM. Our talented culinary team has carefully curated a selection of pastries and finger sandwiches using fresh ingredients that pay homage to the traditional British Tea experience. Please indicate any dietary restrictions at the time of booking as advanced notice is required to guarantee accommodation. We are delighted to offer a children's Afternoon Tea at $40/child. Please book for the total amount of guests and select the number of children in the add-on section.

Lovely lunch with sibs and spouses before yo yo ma. Lovely. Very nice attentive waitress. I had the Caesar. Sorry, wasn’t special. Liked bacon lardons but croutons were cardboard. Not enough dressing. My wife’s spring salad was excellent. My sister in law enjoyed her avocado. We would come back. Very nice venue if one has to be in downtown Toronto. We no live on Lake Huron as much as possible, but for very special concerts like this we will always put up with the annoyances of Toronto. Thanks for asking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, especially the welcoming ambiance of the patio. The pizza and miso sea bass were both cooked to perfection. What truly set the experience apart, however, was the exceptional service. Chad was outstanding—his recommendations were spot-on, and his passion for hospitality was evident in every interaction. In a time when great service is increasingly rare, Chad’s professionalism and genuine care made a lasting impression. We can’t wait to return.

This was not a typical English Tea and definitely not worth $180 (before tip) for two people. They chose esthetic over function for the seating. The seats were so laid back and low to the ground, we required a few pillows just to sit close to the table. The table was short and squatty, with a large pillar leg in the centre. We could not get our feet around the pillar so we sat the entire tea on the edge of the seat with our legs bent in one direction. They only offered a limited selection of flavored tea, no traditional black teas. As well, you only were able to have 1 tea to taste. They offered to bring “more hot water” to refill the already steeped tea? The sandwiches were very thin. On the chicken sandwich, the lettuce was literally thicker than the chicken. Most of the food was flavored (with rose water for example), which took away from the experience. The server was great, she was very pleasant and helpful. All in all, I would not recommend this as good value.

Wine was pricey and out of stock. Food items out of stock. No effort to accommodate any of the shortages. Just sorry and order something else. Serving staff was fine, manager was rude and not Ritz Carlton trained. This place is pricey, which is fine but it should also come with a Ritz level of service. It didn't.

Stale food. Friendly staff but not attentive to items that ran out like the clotted cream. Had to ask for hot water for tea. Sandwiches tasted stale so did the scones. Will not be returning

Lovely patio with fireplace and blankets if needed. Food was good. Zachary was great. He made a special dessert medley for my husband’s birthday. Thank you for a lovely birthday meal out.
