Epiphany Farms Enterprise (EFE) is a “Farm to Fork” concept that practices sustainable, beyond organic, environmentally friendly techniques. We are pioneering a new food system frontier by integrating our farms and restaurant to create one self-sustaining organism. We harness ideas from a wide range of agricultural theories such as permaculture and intensive pasture rotation to cultivate a multitude of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and livestock. Firmly rooted within our Central Illinois community, we are actively engaged in reconnecting our neighbors to their foods’ source while nurturing a better understanding of food, health, and well-being. Every day we strive to produce something that customers not only enjoy, but also believe in.

    The food was absolutely amazing. Chef Ken stopped by to say hi and explain some of his philosophy behind the dishes, which was cool. Everyone order the potato gratan-one of the best things I've ever eaten. The bar was backed up, and drinks came out very slowly, but otherwise, it was a great experience.

    We were happy with the service and our waitress Debbie. The kitchen was very backed up due to a concert in town but we would have appreciated not told for about 25 minutes we were the next ticket. But the food totally made up for the time we waited. I had the pork special, delicious and my husband had the lamb shank. We shared the meatballs but would skip them next time and although my husband like the pecan tart I wasn't a fan. Overall good time but a bit pricey so it will definitely be a special occasion dinner and not a weekly event.

    We had reservations for 4 at 6:30. When we arrived we were told they kitchen was behind and it would be at least 20 minutes before we could be seated. There was no room at the bar, so we stood in the entryway until we were finally seated around 7. Once seated, our waiter was fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable, very entertaining. He helped with a microbrew and wine selection. Then we waited. By 8, we started asking after our meals. The kitchen sent out an appetizer to hold us over. Finally got out meals around 8:30. Problem was, we had plans to be at Jazz UpFront at 8. So we were starting to worry about even getting at table at the club. The food was well presented, but didn't deliver on its promises. It wasn't necessarily bad. But it simply didn't hit the taste notes you'd expect for both the presentation and the price. The meatballs were dry. Duck breast was bland. Gumbo was good, as was the Butterfish. Pulled pork was mediocre. So, as the title suggests, a mixed bag of results.

    Our meal was excellent with a couple of exceptions. The food preparation and presentation were very well done. Highly recommend having the corn bread as an appetizer. It was great as a starter. The entrees were excellent especially my duck which was the best I have ever had. No fruity toppings here, just a well cooked duck breast with good spices. The other entrees were also well enjoyed. Why not 5 stars for food, the vegetables were only just warm and they received a mixed reaction. Of course the restaurant is dealing with winter vegetables which are not the most exciting. Also, it was very crowded which probably affected the kitchen and the restaurant was rather noisy. The service was also excellent. The amount of attention to the needs of the diners was evident and not intrusive. Will definitely return and recommend. Wish we could add half stars as the restaurant is definitely 4 and a half.

    We had purchased an evening at Epiphany Farms for their tasting menu with wine pairings at a fundraiser. The experience was very positive. The food was amazing and the wine pairings matched very well with each of the food plates. The service was very good and each waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and wine. The food was all from their own farm with the exception of the fish. Wonderful experience and highly recommend!

    This is our favorite in Bloomington-Normal. The food never disappoints and its farm to fork. The chefs take pride in the fact that the food is harvested in a sustainable way.

    The quality of food and excellent service combined with the atmosphere make this an outstanding choice of restaurants. Highly recommend to anyone while in the Bloomington area.

    First time dining at Epiphany Farms, and it was fabulous. The pan seared butter fish in coconut curry was the best I've had. The vegetarian chef's entree was great too. My new favorite restaurant in B-N.
