Epif Restaurant & Pisco Lounge is a vegan establishment inspired by the Andes region found in South America. Husband and wife duo Pepe and Nicolle moved to Pepe's home town of Valparaiso, Chile. There, they opened a vegetarian restaurant and bar and had tremendous success. So much so that they brought the concept back to the United States and opened up a sister restaurant in Portland. The restaurants are extremely similar, many diners enjoy sitting down and eating in a place that has so much authentic South American charm.As mentioned before, Epif is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant. The menu is divided into large, medium and small plates depending on how hungry guests are. Small plates include fried squash sopapillas wand mini pickled sweet peppers while Epif's medium plates include empanadas and a portabello and crimini mushroom ceviche with red onion, bell pepper and cilantro in a citrus marinade.
