The Main Dining Room features a stunning view of the bay from every table. For those who prefer al fresco dining our Inside Out Room is the perfect place for a romantic dinner or get together among friends next to the cozy fireplace. A custom-built wood fired grill and a large wood burning oven serve as the focal points of Kuleto's design for the restaurant.

My husband and I dined at this restaurant earlier tonight
The positive:
The view a was wonderful! Loved it.

The negative:
For $200, we received sauteed spinach that was literally cold. (Mind you, I do not mean room temperature, but I do mean cold. Cold, as if it had been kept in a refrigerator.) We also received steak that was flavorful, but cooler than room temperature. (I mean cool as in when I put the pepper corn butter on the steak, the butter did not melt in any way.) In addition, we received a hot and tasty cheesy noodle cassarole which I believe was called Swizle. We also received 2 cocktails and two deserts which we enjoyed. We were starving and we ate our meal, but we were very disappointed by the fact that the majority of the main course was cold. We left wondering how much better to food might be if it were actually hot.

Expensive for not very creative. But it’s steaks so not sure how much more they can do. All and all very nice but not one of those I have to get back to.

We went to Epic Steak for dinner. We were seated at a table in there outside covered patio and the heat from the heaters was very hot and made it uncomfortable. The waitress came
by and took us to a different table right away which was a nice gesture. I ordered the filet and why wife had the fish. My wifes entree was amazing however when my steak came, it wasn’t edible which was disappointing being that the steak costed 52.00 bucks. The manager came and quickly brought back a new piece which was much better. The service was totally 5 stars and would consider trying this place again based on the level of high qualityservice.

Took out of town guests. We had a nice table by the fireplace with a beautiful view. Service was great , and the food was delicious. We ordered the seafood platter to start, everything was fresh, and we devoured it all. Steaks were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Sides were perfect! Definitely going back!!

Perhaps if the service had been better (we asked for more cocktail sauce for our crabmeat & shrimp cocktails that never came, our cocktails were slow in coming,) and the cauliflower not served luke warm, the high prices would not have seemed so ridiculous.

My fiancé and a I went here last year for our anniversary and really loved Paul as our server, this then was our first time joining Epic. For Valentine’s Day we decided to come back again being that we loved it so much! KJ was our server this time and we had a perfect night as well. My fiancé ordered the Wagyu 8 oz. and I enjoyed the Ribeye 14 oz and both were cooked to perfection. We brought our own bottle of champagne this time and we’re so pleased with how often the lady who was pouring the wine and made sure our glasses were never less than half empty. I’m a waitress myself and loved the way each team member works in sync with one another. Without that, a business cannot thrive. We had plans to enjoy the Epic sundae but KJ mentioned it was discontinued for the time being and may return at a later date, so we were a little bummed about that but that never lessened anything about our enjoyable night. Overall, we love this place, reccommend it to friends around, and will definitely be returning!

My boyfriend and I are foodies and have had steak from all over the world. Epic was HANDS DOWN the best steak we have ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and absolutely delicious. We will be frequent visitors, even living an hour away.

We went for a quiet romantic dinner and they sat us in the patio next to the very noisy bar with television showing Olympics. Food was average. Tiramisu was not as expected. Definitely will not visit again.

It’s hard to imagine a better steakhouse in America. Epic has it all. Beginning with ambiance: carefully crafted (and comfortable) interior), spectacular views of Bay Bridge, a wine list that is the best in The City, food, especially beef, as good as it gets anywhere. From the front door on, the service is professional and spot on. I had prime rib. Maybe the best ever. My wife had salmon which she really enjoyed. Thank you to all at Epic for what you do day in, day out, to make this one of the finest restaurants in the country.

Food was pretty good, but it pales in comparison to the many great steakhouses in San Francisco. If you’re going to spend the money on a good steakhouse, pick a different place.

The steak wasn’t bad, but the drinks were particularly weak for a steak house.

To top it off, they switched our to-go bag with someone elses. So instead of steaks, potatoes and brussel sprouts, we merely got someone else’s charcuterie. When we called to alert them of the error, they asked what we had. They offered a gift certificate, I’m suspecting for a minimal amount since they asked so specifically what we had.

Pretty lackluster
